Great location everything there for late night Berlin fun. Room was good a bit small but perfect for what we needed. The constant loop of the tv and The Big Lebowski and all the other six channels was a bit annoying but I get the point of the theme we were only there for 3 nights so not too bad. Didn't have breakfast or food but the bar and courtyard was great. This isn't just a hotel people come to just hang out and have drink or a coffee which I liked.

Could've had at least some varied tv and a chair in the room. We were there in the summer and it was hot 35+ there's no air con just a small fan so the mornings were hot, but ok for a short stay.

An outstanding hotel, everything from the extremely comfortable beds (we all agree they had the best pillows on the planet) to the spacious design of the loft rooms, the courtyard area, the helpful and very friendly staff, the outstanding breakfast options and the location made our stay very memorable. There were 6 of us travelling together who all agreed that the hotel exceeded our expectations. When returning to Berlin I would be very disappointed if I could not stay here.

There was nothing not to like, as one of my friends said 'there was always something to marvel at'.

The vibe, the comfort and the staff But - Breakfast was too excessive and expensive. It would have been nice to get a small breakfast eg muesli bowl or boiled egg but the only breaks at options in the cafe were croissants or cookies and we could find anything local for a decent small breakfast.

Because the soap provided was oily the bottom of the shower became very slippery. I also hoped there would be a bigger range of products such as shampoo and conditioner, body lotion etc. Also would have appreciated tissues and a kettle in the room but this didn’t spoil our enjoyment. We had a great time and loved Berlin

It is a lovely hotel, great drinks and food, great courtyard

No aircon made it uncomfortable, it was a very hot weekend 30+ and there were just two fans in the room. As we were facing the street, opening the windows made the room very noisy. I don’t love aircon but it was needed that weekend. It meant we couldn’t relax properly in the room. A courtyard facing room is definitely preferable. The communal areas were also very warm. Great in winter but in summer not so much.

Really nice facilities and thoughtfully decorated accommodations. We particularly appreciated having the on-site cafe for both coffee in the AM and wine/drinks in the evening. Easy to walk around the area as well from our location.

Depending on where you are spending time in the city, it can be a bit far (i.e. from a lot of the main tourist attractions). I would also note that the rooms do not have A/C, but this was not an issue for us.

Friendly staff. Good wifi. Nice design to the rooms. Comfy beds. Quiet towards the inner court yard. Option for parking (with a reasonable EUR10 charge per day/night). Breakfast (or may be brunch) has a hefty price so we didn't use it. Cafeteria is nice. Lots of activities, restaurants, etc. nearby obviously.

I think it's the intended design, but our room was on a level where the floor had been ripped out and the hallway was left 'unfinished', which felt a bit cold/rough. The room is very small, but understandable for the price. They use low-lying lampshades, although they are so low that I hit them several times while lying in bed. The glass window from the bed area towards the shower/bathroom area is probably not everyone's preference.

This is our third time at the michelberger hotel and won’t ever be able to stay anywhere else. We love the location is so central to where we want to explore and a bolt is never too far away if we need. The vibe of the michelberger is unmatched, just having a wine in the courtyard after our day is one of our favourite parts of it.

Pillows could be improved

This is a really cool hotel in a brilliant location. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the decor is fantastic. The room was really clean and very nicely designed and the bathroom was fantastic. The bar is really cool with excellent coffee and snacks by day and delicious wines in the evening. I will most definitely be back again and will use this hotel as my base for future trips to Berlin

I have no complaints about this hotel at all

Perfecte location right in between the two nicest neighborhoods of Berlin: Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. The hotel looks amazing and the rooms are small but comfortable! The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had and make sure to also have dinner at the Michel Berger restaurant, the service will blow your mind and the Flavours of the food will do the same. We will def be back. :)

Only thing was that the rooms became a bit too warm for me during the night. Even after putting the heat off.

Our stay at Michelberger was incredible. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was spacious, clean and had a very comfy bed. We stayed in the Loft room and loved the space and big bed. Michelberger hotel is situated very centrally and was a quick journey from the airport and right next to the Berlin Wall. We will absolutely return to Michelberger, thanks again!

Only slightly negative comment would be the lack of light in the bathroom.
