Excellent breakfast, tremendously kind and polite staff at reception and breakfast service. Very welcoming and everybody was eager to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I arrived at 8 am from New York and of course there were no rooms available to check in, check-in is not until 2 pm, but they were all very accommodating and trying to give me a room as soon as possible. I was able to check in at 11 am. Thank you, Mr Aras cleaning crew.

Rooms on the fifth floor seem to have no wifi signal, I wasn't the only one who complained, but I got another room the next day and everything was working just fine.

Somehow previously overlooked, this hotel is probably the best in Kreuzberg. Ignore the negative comments - our stay was flawless - staff was really helpful and available all the time, rooms were very clean and rather spacious, had everything we could need. You can opt out of the breakfast as there is an abundance of cafes and restaurants around almost any hour. U-bahn station is just a minute away with the busy Kotbusser-Tor as a next one. Totally recommend if you're in for the Kreuzberg vibes during your stay in Berlin.

It is in a nice location, just in front of a Metro Station.

There was no air conditioning and during the day the room became an oven. It is also a busy street so it was really noisy the whole time. (Which would be fine if we could just shut the windows and use an air conditioner…)

The Hotel, is well situated for all I like to do in this area of Kreuzberg, The hotel opposite Gorlitzer Banhoff and is surrounded by cafe's restaurants and bars. The rooms, for me are adequately sized, The shower is good, There is a paying mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities are in the room. I have stayed here many times and will continue to do so.

No Air Con, a fan is provided, but rooms can get hot in summer.

the deposit policy is a bit silly - for a room that costs circa 100 euro, it's impractical to request a deposit of the same value (the deposit stays at 100 euro even if the booking is for 5+ nights etc). for longer timeframe, i get the need for a deposit but for the comfort of the guests, this policy should be amended to reflect time spent @ the hotel.

The room was big, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped. The hotel is close to the U-bahn station and right across many restaurants, cafes. The stuff were friendly and always helpful.

The finishing in the room was quite outdated, the bed frame was old and some parts were peeling off, even though the mattress itself was comfortable. Not the level you would expect from a 4-stars hotel.

Poss. duplicate review (two rooms with overlapping stay). Amazing location, excellent customer service. Lacked air conditioning, but was well ventilated. Fantastic water pressure that exceeded the shower's ability to drain the excess water (be mindful of pooling water). Approximately 150m to metro/subway station, and excellent coffee shops around. Did not partake of breakfast buffet, but was impressive.

Not a thing; hotel was great in all aspects. Walking distance to excellent restaurants (like 5-star reviews for 100+ comments) and artsy district with multi-national charm & influence.

I expected a foldable sofa in the room, as said in the room description. All I found was a foldable chair which was too heavy for me to unfold. Inside I found a duvet and pillow with no extra sheets. It was too late at night for me to bother, so I shared the bed with two kids and it wasn’t the most comfortable option.

The location and the breakfast were perfect for our needs. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room had all the amenities in the room and services expected of a 4 star hotel.

We knew the hotel does not have AC and although there was a fan provided the room was still very warm which is why I couldn't give an exceptional score.

The hotel is located very close to the metro (2 min walk), it is also convenient to get there from the airport by public transport. The room is clean and spacious, our room had an incredible view on the city. The staff is helpful with 24/7 reception.

The wifi was really poor. Also the area is rather noisy (bars/restaurants in the area, metro, large street). You need to take the train or the bus to get to the main sights (it's not a walking distance especially in winter).
