The rooms are large and the facility is modern, clean, technology us used in a way that facilitates seamless flow and doesn't cause more problems, which is often the case. I design and implement hotel tech stacks for a living, and the self checkin and checkout process was very smooth. I only with the Television system was also a little more up to date, with smart TV abilities or at least the ability to change language.

The blackout curtains didn't actually cover the entire windows and when the sun comes up at 4:30 am it's nice to have a very dark room. The AC took two days to get down just 1 degree, the bathroom shower drain is very slow and we had to turn the water of halfway through a shower so as not to flood the bathroom. Room 451, I suggest cleaning the shower drain. We didn't get the breakfast included rate and the last day I had breakfast at the hotel. It was a good breakfast for an included breakfast, but not worth 21 Euros if you get it as an add on.

* Decent location. Not that near to the most famous Berlin places, but in a good and quiet neighborhood * Comfy beds * Decent internet connection. However, you need to re-login quite often * Warm rooms * All basic check boxes are ticked

* Breakfast choices aren't bad, but can be better * "Innovative" self-check-in and self-check-out systems are a mess. It's hard to use on your own, so someone from the staff is helping you anyway. However, now they have no "reception", so it's harder to find someone who can help you. Online check-out simply doesn't work

Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice and modern. Automated check in/out was an efficient touch, staff were usually around when needed though. Also the €15 for 24hr bike hire was easy to use and very convenient.

There wasn’t a lot of lighting in my room - lots of lamps but there wasn’t any option for brighter lights if needed. Housekeeping also kept removing the key card from the slot that gave the room power, which turned off the fridge while I was away. Also so real room service/ability to get things brought to your room, but at least you can easily get stuff downstairs to take back up.

Room was very nice spacious, the breakfast was amazing soo much variety.

Other people 😂 the staff were nice but other people staying at the hotel weren’t very friendly !

The hotel room I've got was propably the best I've ever got, very spacious, modern, with good amenities. Hotel is located in interesting area, close to Tiergarten and not too far away from the city center. I can also note that the staff was very helpful when I've lost my room card and I've recieved a new one very quickly.

There are two things that aren't amazing about this hotel. One is the outdated exterior - the building looks old and uninteresting from the outside, luckliy it's much better inside. The other thing is the self-check lobby. Although there is a person who can help with checking in, I prefer normal lobby with a counter.

I was surprised by the size of the hotel, as well as our room - we ended up in a much bigger room than anticipated/we'd booked for, likely due to selecting a preference for a king size bed. The hotel was well connected both by buses and subway, and the check-in and -out process was automated and very easy. It's not the newest hotel and there were signs of use around the room, but it didn't affect our comfort. Absolutely fine for business travel and a large, comfortable bed.

The hotel restaurant looked nice in terms of seating and design, but doesn't offer much in the way of warm dishes; we didn't end up eating there during our stay.

Spacious room, very clean Reception personal kind and always available Sauna is plus and gym as well, even if I used only the first one

I would include breakfast in the price TV was loosing sound every now and then (I did not flag to reception to be honest, they most likely would have addressed but I was in the room just at night) Sauna just one was opened and it was a bit packed

I liked that it was walking distance to the major shopping at KaDeWe and other stores on that street. I also like the close access to Metro and bus services.

The refrigerator in the room was not cold enough to keep medication cold. Front desk said refrigerator temperature is to keep drinks cold...it didn't even do that. I asked for it to be looked at but the front desk guy told me to tune down my tone but I wasn't talking loud. ANYHOW????? Also, I think they need to ensure all smokers go to the designated smoking area at the back of the hotel and NOT the front door. Non-smokers don't want to have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to go inside the hotel. 😫 Air conditioning didn't cool room, but I didn't dare mentioned it or be told to turn down tone again. Coffee maker didn't work...leaking water but they did replace it.

We received an upgrade to our room which was very much appreciated. Our room, while the view was not outstanding, was on the quietest side of the hotel. We had opening windows which we love. Location was convenient to buses and the trains. We walked a lot and found this location to be fairly central.

I found self check in to be somewhat intimidating. I also tried to call customer service to ask a question and only heard a recording in German. I know this is a German hotel, but as many customers come from outside the country, this was also frustrating. It took me a couple of days to notice the sign in the elevator explaining where customer service was located.

Good location, very close to bus and attractions. Hotel looks nice and mordern , facilities is new and sufficient. The check in process is automatic with computers, however, there is always a guy there to help with the check in process in case you get any trouble. There's also service desk in case you need more help like you need more keys or your room key suddenly not working.

The wifi is not very good. After midnight, the wifi is getting better. I think it is because the hotel is big. The key of my room suddenly not work so I have to go to sevice desk to reset it again. There's no microwave so I could not warm the leftover food for my breakfast. The hairdryer keep turning off after using for about 4 minutes and you have to wait for about 10 minutes to be able to use it again. The temperature is fine to me but to my partner, it is a bit hot and he can not lower the temperature with the air conditioner.
