Excellent value for money. Very convenient location for exploring Berlin, close to Wittenberg Platz U-Bahn station with three U-Bahn lines. The hotel is basic, no frills, but it does the basics very well. Good bed, shower, good-sized room, friendly and competent staff. The hotel provides free croissants and coffee/tea for breakfast; if you want a more diverse breakfast you can go to a bakery and supermarket that are very close to the hotel. I have stayed here three times already, would definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

No air conditioning, so room will get very warm in the summer (but windows can be opened to get some fresh air in). No small fridge in the room. No real breakfast (but free croissants and coffee/tea), but you can get that at the bakery and supermarket very close to the hotel.

Very good service with free coffee and croissant in the morning. Comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Quiet room when facing the courtyard. Staff was so friendly. A very good and friendly relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Nice lobby with homely furniture. I just felt good as if beeing at home. Lots of eating options in the neighbourhood.

Not providing a safe in the hotelroom in the Capital of Germany is very inconvenient and difficult to understand. The hotel has so many positive things , but without a safe I am not sure that I will come back. A fridge would have been good ,but not a major problem. No aircondition, but ok, when it is not too hot.

The location was great and veru convenient.

My friend checked-in a day before me into our room as it had been booked, but experienced a bad check-in due to the unpolitness of the reception staff (if not mistaken named Ralf) who didn't listen to her, when she said whos name the registration was under as well as proceeded to gossip about her in German in front of her with another collegue (my friend speaks German so she understood what was said).

The Sorat hotel set the standards for our stays in several other German cities. The staff were very approachable, friendly and indeed helpful when we ever had any enquiries. The room was comfortable and fairly-well appointed with easy access to the two lifts provided. The hotel is within very easy reach of the buses into the centre of Berlin, the underground and overland rail stations. The hotel provided free coffee and croissants to set up us up for the morning, which was also much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend the Sorat hotel for the above positive points.

I had a great experience staying in this hotel, I received my room before check-in time with the help of the nice staff in the reception. the room was very nice and looks like it was renovated recently, very quiet and beds were comfortable to sleep in. also Wi-Fi was really good in my room and there were plenty of wall outlets available in the room. location was really amazing, less then a minute from bus station and 2 minutes walk from the underground with plenty of lines. another nice thing that is worth mentioning is that every morning the coffee machine and croissants were free.

although I knew this before arriving, air conditioning was not available in the room which was pretty rough after a long day of walking in the sun, they do provide a little fan which makes the experience bearable. also, cleaning the room happens only once in 3 days.

Friendliness of staff, cleanliness, value for money, close to a lot of facilities.

A bit difficult communicating with them before and after stay with emails, phone calls plus messages through booking.com. We had an important parcel arriving and at the end, I left something. I didn’t receive any answers about the parcel (we never did get it, but that wasn’t the fault of hotel) It took a long time to get an answer back about the item that I left. Perhaps it may have been found had they seen my earlier messages? Apart from these issues, everything else was great!

The hotel was easy to get to from Brandenburg Airport and really close to the station. Quite a few restaurants with a variety of cuisines within walking distance, as well as a supermarket and bakery near by! A really basic room (bed, fan, tv, decent space) but it was absolutely worth the price we paid. Hotel staff was absolutely lovely and helpful for directions and cutlery etc needed when we decided to bring dinner back. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants basic amenities for a very reasonable price.

Perfect location! 2min walk from the train station. In walking distance to lots of nice cafes, restaurants, supermarket and shopping malls. Felt really safe and looks recently renovated. Rooms are a nice big size too. The free croissants and coffee in the morning was a nice bonus. Appreciated being able to store our bags all day at the hotel for free once we checked out as we were catching a night bus.

Our queen bed was two singles pushed together. The beds were really hard too. Fine for a night or two but not any longer. Also personally not a fan of a shower curtain as the fan kept blowing it into you.

Great hotel for what it is. Suited perfectly for my purpose as very little time spent in the hotel apart from sleeping and changing clothes and shower etc. Room was basic but clean and comfortable and met my needs. Staff were friendly when approached and happy to help when needed. Location is great and in walking distance of everything you need, and anything further can be reached by the transport links 5 minutes walk away. Would happily stay here again if I return to Berlin in the future and happy to recommend to others.

I would have liked more options for breakfast, but the coffee and croissants were a nice morning snack.
