The bed was very confortable, we slept very well. The room was very clean and the sheets smellt good and were soft. The view on the inner park was very pleasant to have in the morning and the night. The staff of the hotel was very nice and warmly welcomed us. For those liking large and tasty breafast / brunch, please try it, it was marvellous ! The warm wter came quite quickly in the bathroom, which is so nice. Finally, the location versus the price and the confort of the room was very appreciable and we will surely book this same hotel next time we are coming to Berlin. Thank you a lot !

The freezer in the fridge was full of ice, it was not possible to put anything inside it. The glass door of the shower cabin was not closing properly. We insist, these are details that did not bother us very much.

I am a regular visitor to Berlin and I had to find a new hotel a few years back when my previous Berlin base was closed for complete refurbishment. I found Hotel Lützow on booking.com at a very reasonable price and since then it has become my regular Berlin base as it meets all my requirements for a quiet stay in the heart of Berlin, close to local transport by bus, Ubahn, railway stations or taxi. The reception staff are all very friendly and most helpful, breakfast is available in the cafe on the ground floor, regular room cleaning is carried out and advice on local matters is helpfully provided.

I automatically rebook this hotel for every trip to Berlin and cannot think of any aspects of my stays here that I have not liked.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good and had nice sheets. The staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee in the lobby was good. The instructions to get in after hours were clearly written.

I would have liked an iron in the room. The floor level difference between the room and the bathroom wasn't good. There was supposed to be a coffee maker in the room but there was only instant coffee. No AC but at least there was a fan. My plane was late so I arrived later than expected. I was at the hotel at 10:25 pm but the staff was already gone although the hotel website said they would be there until 10:30 pm.

The hotel itself was very clean . The rooms were spacious enough and were recently renovated . The bathroom was okay . Staff was nice , you also receive a bottle of water in your room . The location is good , next to tiergarten on a quiet street.

The bathroom was okay in general , but one of the glass doors of the shower cabin almost fell off , also you could see some parts of it had fallen off and were just left there. A minus is also not having AC. I can't complain since the nights were cold , but for a 3 star hotel there should be AC in every room . My pillows were not filled consistently , but more like they had socks inside . However for the price I payed ,it was fine to deal with.

The location is perfect. Although the hotel is located in a busy area of the city, it is very quiet. There is a garden with tables and seats to eat or drink something you bring with you. The staff is very helpful. The hotel exceeds my expectations.

The double size beds are not wide enough. Their springs are too soft, which causes abnormal deflection. The beds need to be renovated.

We loved the location of the hotel. All the touristic places we visited were all within 30 minutes of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was kept very clean. We received new towels every single day. For me a big bonus was the presence of a watercolor to boil water for tea.

We booked a room for 2 people with 1 bed. Unfortunately the bed was more the size for 1.5 person instead of 2. We did manage, but it was a little bit uncomfortable.

I know many people have said something about the shower. But seriously that shower is godsent! When we were in Berlin it was the hottest of the week (around 30 degrees up). I literally had to hop in a shower for a quick 10 seconds after waking up or coming from the outside. I also love how uncomplicated the check-in and check-out process is, and how super friendly and helpful all the staff were. The location is super great, we walked a lot but if you are a bit tired of walking all the time, install a TIER app and use their e-bikes or roller. The park is close by and it's a wonderful one. We also had a room that face the empty field on the second floor, it is super quiet in the evening and when it is hot you can comfortably open the window. They also have a small fan that works wonders (they don't have AC, so don't be shocked). The room provides you with anything you need. There is a small kitchenette and a big enough fridge, which is super nice for a small hotel. Was just beyond what I expected. Thank you for hosting us!

Please be aware that this is a PERSONAL preference: we didn't quite like the bed because it was super bouncy. We are light sleepers so when one moved, the other woke up. Also, it was quite small for the two of us, but this is probably because we have a bigger bed at home and a harder mattress. But if you like a bouncy bed and just stay alone or not at all light sleepers, it should do just fine.

good simple rooms in a quiet corner of the city. Very clean, good shower. Quite a few places to eat around for any time of the day. Only 15 mins tops to the Berlin Zoo metro station.

Only small gripe was the wifi that was not so excellent. Also, there was a construction site just across the road, so noise from ~8.00 am. Not the hotel's fault for sure though!

My room was neat and functional, I liked being able to open the windows. Location was very convenient and the n.200 bus stop was very close and takes to the Zoologischer Garten station with lots of S-Bahn options. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful! Lots of good places to eat close by the hotel.

Shower fixtures were a little old, but working OK. Soundproofing could be improved.

I liked the location...quiet but walking distsnce to shopping area / train station and hop on off off bus. Breakfast was ample and very gd. Some of tge receptionists were helpful & with a smiley disposition.

The mattresses were in need of being upgraded. 2 nights fine but a week...I ended up with backaches. Perhaps the base of the bed was too hard / rigid. At times, asking fir directions was a bit of a chore. I think that receptionists ought to be more knowledgeable as to directions of the buses to avoid clients wasting time.
