Breakfast has a lot of choices and good quality.

The room is comfortable and sizeable. You have everything, your own bathroom, kitchenette, wardrobe, table, chair, mirror, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area has a lot of shops and supermarkets with long opening hours. Most things were easily accessible with public transport.

The kitchen is normally completely empty, and I wasn't told that I could ask for plates, cutlery, etc. It was a pity, I wish I would have known, so I am writing it here so that others know.

Room was very roomy with kitchen Good size bathroom..Lovely Hot shower. Had a lift. We were on 6th floor. Breakfast was fabulous, even though we paid for it, Continental and Hot food,lots of choices. Lovely outside area to sit . Walking distance to zgrest shopping area Staff we delightful and helpful. There was only 1 actually 2 negatives.Other than that I would recommend it

Only 2 negative and 1 out of their controlling which was a massive building being constructed opposite Work started around6am. The other was NO AIR-CONDITIONING. A very small fan was provided which was not sufficient. So many sleepless uncomfortable. Nights

I didn't choose the breakfast option. The location is quite good - just a few minutes by bus or about 15 minutes walking to the underground station "Zoologisches Garten", which is also well connected. The quality-price ratio is excellent.

The ladder to reach the upper bed (I chose the bunk-bed option) was not quite comfortable. I would also suggest adding a vent so that bad smells in the bathroom can leave faster. Overall though I can't really complain about my stay, and I would certainly recommend it to people willing to visit Berlin for a few days.

Very nice hotel, great location near Zoo and nice park. Located on silent street. Not far from train station and underground. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast with a good choice of products and every day different. Nice, clean modern room. Comfortable bad. Near several cafes and restaurants. I really recommend the place and will choose same for my next stay. Price really worth the stay.

We were living on the upper floor and days were hot and it was too hot in the room, was very hard to sleep. We kept windows open but it did not help, and then noise was coming from the outside. Also room doors are closing very loudly so other room doors noise really was loud and disturbing especially late evening and early mornings.

The location and the price were amazing and the room was big. The main manager and one member of the kitchen staff were amazing and always so supportive.

Cleanliness needs to improve. Some of the mattress we had in our room were a bit stained, lots of fluff and forgotten items under the beds, which is not acceptable. Breakfast was good, but it is served upon demand. So if other guests sign up for breakfast, more items will be available faster. Even though food was delicious and the service was great, I would recommend to skip this option. One member of staff (I believe the receptionist on the day shift) was a bit rude and at times unhelpful. I guess it was more of "lost in translation" kind of thing, as they didn't speak English very well.

The proximity to the Tierpark is a big advantage, in the morning I enjoyed the song of the nightingales from the nearby branches. The Ghanaian girl who works in the kitchen is very nice and helped us with the transportation arrangements, the staff is generally very friendly, the gentleman who works at the reception is a great character. I will recommend your hotel to friends who come to Berlin, for tourism or business.

the room was on the ground floor, so the corridor smells like food from the kitchen, that's not good for people on a diet :)

The bed was very confortable, we slept very well. The room was very clean and the sheets smellt good and were soft. The view on the inner park was very pleasant to have in the morning and the night. The staff of the hotel was very nice and warmly welcomed us. For those liking large and tasty breafast / brunch, please try it, it was marvellous ! The warm wter came quite quickly in the bathroom, which is so nice. Finally, the location versus the price and the confort of the room was very appreciable and we will surely book this same hotel next time we are coming to Berlin. Thank you a lot !

The freezer in the fridge was full of ice, it was not possible to put anything inside it. The glass door of the shower cabin was not closing properly. We insist, these are details that did not bother us very much.

I am a regular visitor to Berlin and I had to find a new hotel a few years back when my previous Berlin base was closed for complete refurbishment. I found Hotel Lützow on booking.com at a very reasonable price and since then it has become my regular Berlin base as it meets all my requirements for a quiet stay in the heart of Berlin, close to local transport by bus, Ubahn, railway stations or taxi. The reception staff are all very friendly and most helpful, breakfast is available in the cafe on the ground floor, regular room cleaning is carried out and advice on local matters is helpfully provided.

I automatically rebook this hotel for every trip to Berlin and cannot think of any aspects of my stays here that I have not liked.

the breakfast was great, the room was large, spacious, the location was very convenient, close to transport, the city center, the park and the river, and the street with shops was very close

Poor hot water pressure in the shower, very poorly cleaned toilet. There were always problems with the safe and we could not use it.
