Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating our early arrival a few hours before check in time. Room was very nice, modern and clean, also access to the spa was great! The hotel reception and bar was also very nice, especially at night to have a few drinks and was well priced! Location was great for Charlotenberg area with the zoo and park nearby, along with plenty shops and restaurants, pretty easy links to the East Side of The city too with the S/U-Bahn. Would definitely stay here again!

The air conditioning in our room didn’t seem to work, didn’t affect us much as we we’re out most of the day and left windows open instead.

Super comfortable bed,, in fact the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel! The room was very clean and serviced every day.

One member of staff was very rude to us at the desk at the dining area as we went in for breakfast. When she asked for payment of 64 euros, we explained that we had booked a room with breakfast included. She barked at us "no it is not! Not a great first impression. We had selected the breakfast included option on the booking.com site however the receptionist explained that this had not been communicated to the hotel so they were not at fault. The rest of the staff were very polite I checked my confirmation email from booking.com and had to scroll down several times to find the comment "Breakfast available at a charge of 28 euros per person" which was not what was carefully selected when booking. .

Great design in the Lobby erea! Big pool and very nice Sauna! The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable (but the design of the room is very business oriented and not much matching the style of the interior design of the lobby and bar). The stuff were super nice and for my partner’s birthday they left a cake and some sweets in our room and also gave us vouchers for 2 glasses of Proceco at the bar. The breakfast was ok, there is a big variety but it wasn’t so fresh… I’m not sure it’s completely matching the rating of 5 stars hotel but we enjoyed our stay a lot anyway.

Staff is very helpful. Very comfortable bed. Good selection of pillows. Good and plenty of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided in bathroom. Complimentary water everyday in the room and some soft drinks and snacks (juice, fruit water, crackers, apples) in the lobby. Nicely decorated. In a calm part of Berlin - clean streets, no noise, nice people.

The cleaning of bathroom could have been a bit better. No view at all through windows in standard rooms (construction scaffold everywhere). Consider it is a huge hotel, 9 floors.

the hotel lobby looks fantastic. rooms were clean, although very simple and looked like any other hotel room-maybe i expected little bit “more” of a design in rest of the hotel, not just lobby. spa is very nice and clean, gym is small but useful for those who want to do a little bit of cardio during their stay.

i was frustrated by loong checking in process upon arrival, which caused a queue which was served by just only one receptionist. i was also bit suprised by a level of “hospitality” in such hotel, i felt like the receptionist (the check in lady and a breakfast desk lady) thought i was there by a mistake and i dont “belong” to such hotel.

Spacious room, huge very comfortable bed, attentive staff. Located close to the Tiergarten, which we enjoyed wondering through.

Though located close to the zoo, Kaiser Wilhelm memorial Church and shopping areas, it was a trek to many of the outstanding Berlin sights. That said transport links were good.

Breakfast was good and staff was ver attentive and polite- Room was relatively comfortable. Love the bedding it was just right for comfortable sleep.

I prefer the open flooring and not carpeted because of dust allergy. In my opinion wood is the best option for living spaces and more convenient to keep clean. Unfortunately by day 3 my child and I had congested breathing, but I suppose it was very peculiar to our case and probably didn't bother other guests. The bathroom I think had sort of plumbing problem and water was collecting in the shower room and later in the sink, but later drained on its own.

Wonderful location, good hotel. I was happy with the size of the room, the comfortable bed. No complaints about the hotel in itself. Even the hotelbar was nice to have a late night beer.

I guess it's the market, but the prize per night is pretty high. Also when checking out the queues were pretty long. You could tell that most people in line were a bit annoyed, especially since there was only 1 desk opened (and most people were kind of in a rush).

Room was the right size, really clean, enough plugs and usb ports about including next to the bed and desk, bed and bedding was comfortable, great location

for a 4* hotel, air conditioner doesn't work well and is confusing to operate, would be nice to have some grace period where the light stays one for a minute so we can see whilst leaving the room, breakfast was so-so

Very welcoming staff, couldn't do enough for us. The hotel lobby/restaurants are playfully decorated. Room was really comfortable with dressing gown and slippers. We stayed in the part near the spa which was really quiet so slept really well. The spa was excellent, great size pool and an outdoor area and a good gym. The place was spotlessly clean. Bikes are available to hire
