Fantastic set up the hotel has, great communal area in the lobby which was open 24/7, rooms were perfect for what we needed, beds very comfortable

Upon check-in there were 2 girls at the desk, first girl said we all needed to fill in a separate form which took a while given there was 22 of us, brought them back up and the other girl said we didn't need to do that and gave me a different form, which I brought back up and waited in a queue again to be told that she wasn't able to process and I needed to go to the other queue. This could have been a lot smoother. When we got to the rooms, there was only 2 towels between 4 of us and the shower head was broken so we couldn't make proper full use of the shower. There was only 2 keys given to each room which was not ideal as there were 3/4 people in each room.

Compared to other hostels I’ve stayed at, this one has an amazing common area that allows to rest a bit, charge the electronic devices, get some water and internet. Rooms are well thought through, a bit tight, but still comfortable. Breakfast was really good, totally worth the price.

When making a booking I overlooked the fact that I booked in a mixed dorm room, ended up in a room with 3 other men, which was OK, but I would have appreciated if at the check in the the staff brought it up and maybe suggested to switch if any availability.

Great family room and private ensuite facilities - nice amount of space. Great reliable wifi. Loved being close to funky restaurants and cafes with u and s bahn lines both in walking distance

Guest kitchen was not clean and made it off-putting to prepare and eat food there. Also fridge was really poorly maintained. It was a shame as the rest of the shared areas were cleaned daily. We couldn't find anywhere to recycle our waste so everything went in the bin - lots of advertising on walls environmental issues but no chance for guests to contribute

The place is so warm with good people willing to attend to you and help you whenever you may need it. The room was nice, the ambience was nice, has a very convenient location near everything and near a lot of places by food! Susana did a great job last.night helping me getting another card to enter my room with no extra fee and also she gave us 2 free drinks! I'm very grateful with this place and people. Also the windows had noise cancelling, and it's really good for sleeping and hanging out!!! We're coming back soon!

We liked this place a lot If I will be in Berlin again I will stay in a&o Berlin Mitt for sure. The location is perfect for walking to the center (Alexander place, Northern gallery etc .) , metro and bus stations are walking distance even FEX of getting to the airport.. Famous Berlin clubs are near there. In the hostel there are lot of facilities: food, coffee machine, games, cafe, working zone, lockers for bags, wi fi is fast, next the bank bed are usb connection and light, shampoo and soup in the room, no extra fee for sheets. No problems with check in and check out. And of course nice stuff Thank you a&o for hosting us

This place is loved by youth, sometimes it can be loud outside.

Good Value for money 🤑 -Spacious Lobby/Reception area wiz many corners to relax on & sockets to charge mobiles -Some of the staff r very friendly, others r taking this life too 😳 seriously -Dormitory room of good size. Bunk beds r comfortable & wiz own light. Plus wide bathroom/shower area. Big Window to open for fresh air if needed! -Breakfast area is also spacious, though didn't take this Option. -V interesting Outdoor backyard is a BIG plus -Kitchen area is clean Plus Washing Machines & Dryers area just opposite.

Just that Washing Machines/Dryers don't accept coins payment. 💳 Is needed. So they should re-introduce the Cash option. -Location is not the best. It's a 10 minute walk from a metro 🚇 stop that's not necessarily the most central of all stops. But for me it was fine as am used to Berlin.

the property offered lots of amazing services, especially for young people. the staff was alway available and very friendly. we arrived a little earlier than expected and they made our room ready as fast as they could which was really appreciated. the location is great if you don't mind walking 20 minutes to central Berlin. but cute areas and coffee places and also the east side gallery was only 5-10 minutes away by scooter, which there were plenty of, in front of the hostel. there's also a bus station within a 1 minute walk from the hostel and the underground train station was reached in 10 minutes of walking.

the room we got was on the ground floor and our window faced kind of a busy street and the entrance of the hostel. it was always very noisy. also the window didn't seem to be able to close properly which led to more noise being exposed to the room. the bed itself was comfortable but the mattresses kept being pushed apart from each other.

Stand up comedy show, was happening on Saturday evening. Every room has it's owns bathroom with a sink and seperatly shower with a sink. Every bed has USB outlets for charger pockets for personal belongings and metal cage where you call lock up your belongings, but you have to have your own padlock. Was staying from Friday to Sunday I have payed 55€ for this price you can't expect more.

Room was not ready, when I came at 3:20pm, but maid saw me wondering in corridor and prepared room in less than a 20 minutes

Spacious room. Warm and practical. Many U and S lines nearby in approximately 1 km. Really good breakfast. With only 12,5 euros we could checkout late (14 instead of 10) letting us sleep and prepare our things.

The bank beds weren’t made. We had to put the sheets, pillowcases ourselves. We stayed for five days and even though they emptied the trash bin from the room they never emptied the toilet paper trash bin.
