Staff were amazing and super hospitable, with heaps of local knowlege to offer. Beds were comfy and lockers spacious. Padlocks to secure your luggage were only a €5 Deposit with no extra fee. Power outlets next to all the beds and a little shelf to hold your wallet/ phone.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, despite some initial problems with payment, they remained patient and professional. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the hostel is in a really great location, close to my needs.

Everything was fine except for the pillows. I'm not sure if they were made of sponge or foam, but they were uncomfortable and made it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. Perhaps it's just my personal preference, but it's worth considering. They might be suitable for back sleepers, but for any other position, they felt too lightweight.

Common facilities, eg Bar, seating area, breakfast area, all excellent. Big storage area (key from Reception) and. took a photo of my rucksack as I left it there. Also a big kitchen which I didn't step inside - was of commercial catering proportions. The inner courtyard is georgous. Long corridors with rooms off. Ultra modern. Bathroom was so clean also. You can request a hair dryer. Towels are a non refundable €5. Breakfast is cold meats and cheese but generous for €6. There is a lovely glass lift to take you upstairs. Long wardrobe size lockers, though may be narrow for large suitcases or rucksacks. Little wooded box shelf and look ght and charging ports at head level above bed. I found getting there difficult as streets don't always have the logic I'm used to. . Several stations (Bahns) 12-17 mns distance. S9 from Brandenburg gets you to Jannowitzbrucke which is what I used mostly. Found the staff helpful, friendly and warm. I was travelling alone this time and despite many couples and groups had some conversations. So bring a towel and a padlock .. always useful now.

No cosy nook to watch a TV. There was a TV in my 6 bed dorm but didn't get to actually find an operative channel. Mattress is hard and pillow is an amorphous lumpy blob but beds are made up in freshly laundered white Stayed 2 nights; 6 bed was full by 11pm. Weekend prices can soar .. there are cheaper Hostels about, equally good.

Great location! We walked almost everywhere by foot. Felt like a safe neighbourhood. Everything was clean and all services were available. Most prettiest smoking room. Nice services in reception.

Before booking we didn't realise that our apartment's window will be facing inner yard (with glass roof) of the building. And because of that we didn't see outside almost not at all. And in the morning it was quite loud at times. But the yard was nice and pretty. Felt like sleeping in the train station at some moments. Aldo lighting at room was very romantic but dark. Had to use flashlight to see clothed and some other stuff.

We really liked our stay. The staff is nice and there are different services and things to borrow for a deposit (hairdryer, lock etc.). Buffet breakfast for 6 eur is very good, quite diverse and lasts until 11am (different types of bread/toast, cheeses, ham, spreadings, hardboiled eggs, cereals with yogurt or milk, some fruit, orange juice). The cleaning staff is efficient and cleans every day. The location is 10-15min walk to alexanderplatz, which is also a usual distance to get to good connected metros/trains. 2 supermarkets (Edeka and Netto) are just down the street. The boxes to store your belongings are huge under the bunkbeds.

The rooms could have better lightning as the main light don't really luminate anything (also in the kitchen its hard to see what you cook) but the bed lights are good. The kitchen in the 8 bed dorm probably should have oil and salt and a normal knife (only big bread knife available) but if you are lucky someone else passes these things to you after they leave. The beds are squeeky so it can get a bit loud if you dont sleep well (not a personal problem but an observation).

In a very nice building, in a pretty good location, close to train stops and about a 10 - 15 minute walk into Alexanderplatz. You can get to all the main Berlin locations very easily. Nice park nearby too. Rooms and toilets were very clean, and there was a kitchen connected to the dorm which was very handy, far better than a communal kitchen. Beds were comfortable and linen was clean and fresh. Quite a social atmosphere at the hostel, you can choose to join in on the fun or keep to yourself too; there are spaces to hang out solo as well as with others. 6 euro breakfast each morning was a godsend too. One of the better hostels I stayed in on my Europe trip. Would recommend if staying in Berlin.

Hostel was pretty good overall. One thing that could be improved was the privacy in the dorms, a curtain around each bed would be ideal. Also having one toilet and shower for 8 people means that there is sometimes a wait for the bathroom.

The hostel is tucked away in a quiet residential area, so noise was minimal. Despite this, it was only a 5 min walk to the nearest U Bahn station. That may be far for some, but not so bad to me. The rooms were clean and in a 4-bed room it was quite spacious. The hostel provided us with a fan for the room since there is no A/C. They would probably discourage it if they knew, but the bathroom sink in the room had a built in stopper so I was able to do sink laundry and save some money. Most hostels do not have this luxury.

It was a little on the pricy side for a hostel on weekdays, but that might be typical of Berlin prices.

The hostel was ok, it has a bar & restaurant, and it was quite near of the city center (30 min walking distance or 15 min on bus). I felt the zone safe, and it has a bus stop about 6 min walking. The breakfast was basic but ok, it worked for me. The bed was clean, and enough comfortable. For the price (280 EUR /4D) I did expect a little bit more but as I booked the last minute, I guess it was ok.

The Wi-Fi only works in the lobby and the restaurant, you have to bring your own lock and it was quite noisy the street.

Room was a bit on the smaller side but nothing too problematic, there is a big locker for every visitor. Room was clean, beads were comfy, bathroom nice, wifi works well, staff was nice and helpful... There is a kitchen that can be used in case you want to prepare your own food. It is located some 10 - 15 minutes of walking to the Alexander Platz in a residential neighborhood with a lot of parks (especially for children). I have stayed in several hostels in Berlin, and Singer is definitely one of the better ones...

Everything was good.

Staff and guests were truly friendly. Rooms and en-suite bathroom big and clean. Bar and breakfast on the premises. Two supermarkets nearby and 15mins walk from Alexander Platz

Breakfast was not a great deal and the coffee was not strong enough for me. No coffee shop in the area. The espresso at the bar + cooking your own using the shared kitchen could work better in terms of value for money.
