The hotel is in a great location; only a ten-minute walk from Alexanderplatz and accessible by train, tram and bus. The room, and the hotel generally, were spotlessly clean and the room looked to be recently decorated or at least very well maintained. Breakfast was included in our rate and was perfect for us - fresh coffee and bread, cold meats and cheeses, salad and cereals - not the most fancy hotel breakfast but everything you need and it was decent quality. Because the place is such good value for money, it was very busy, especially during breakfast time however, as breakfast runs until 10.00 it was possible to find a table each day. In the room, the shower and sink are in the main area of the room and the shower door opens into the room, so keep that in mind if you are sharing as there is no private area once exiting the shower.

the location is good, about 10min. walk from alexanderplatz. very quiet location. the breakfast is absolutely sufficient. no hot dishes, but the sandwiches etc. are delicious and there are also vegetarian bread spreads. staff is friendly. for the price-performance ratio absolutely ok and i would come again.

the room is rather small and the sink is directly in the room, not in a separate bathroom. the shower looks more like one in an airplane (or hotel rooms in japan). but for the price it is ok. unfortunately there is no hairdryer in the room, this can be rented for a 10 euro deposit at the reception.

Great location and very simple to access. Easy walking distance to local cafes and a wonderful restaurant underneath called KIM999. Tram stop one minute walk away and Alexanderplatz 10 min walk away.

The room was great but could have been cleaner, just spotted some hairs laying around in different places. Housekeeping not knocking before entering, letting themselves in whilst we were sleeping and woke us up to put fresh towels down and change the bin. We weren't bothered too much and actually found it funny, we could have been doing anything and that would have been embarrassing 😂

A very basic room, but very pleasant overall and in a great location for access to Alexanderplatz. The staff were very friendly, and the facilities in the lobby were good - you can make your stay comfortable! The car park worked well, and dog rate was also very reasonable!

The room was definitely missing a side table for the bed - there was a plug to charge something, but nowhere to place it. In the shoulder season the ventilation also seemed a bit off, with the room getting very stuffy very quickly and when you open the window you have all the noise from the road, so you have to alternate between stuffy and quiet, or loud and fresh, which was less than ideal.

Perfect location, its just minutes walk to main square of Alexanderplatz and near to the train station. Tram and bus stop are just around the corner. So easy to get to the main attractions because of the close accessibility of public transport. We even had the chance to visit potsdam. We are on the 5th floor and had a wonderful view of the tv tower. Wifi is good, never had a problem connecting to internet. Good value for money.

No microwave and water heater (for making coffee or tea) in the room. But it helps that they have the 24-hour reception service downstairs. Noisy toilet and doors. We heard it mostly at night when its a bit quiet. Had also heard the neighbor room banging the door.

It is exactly as advertised: basic, but functional and convenient. The rooms are all similar - with a double bed and an additional bunk on top. The bed is confortable, and the room was kept very clean. The location may not be the prettiest - it's in the center of East Berlin, with typical DDR blocks and runway-sized streets, but it's very well served by public transportation and within walking distance of Alexanderplatz and the main attractions of downtown Berlin. There's a small but well stocked grocery shop (Edeka) nearby, and you can get snacks (and beer!) at the reception. The free tier WiFi was reliable and fast enough for streaming video.

As long as you read the description and don't expect the comforts of an upscale hotel, there's nothing to complain about. The street has lots of traffic, if you need to keep the window open there will be noise (not a problem in winter). WiFi is good, but unsecured, if you are concerned about security, use a VPN to encrypt your traffic.

Although a budget hotel, the facilities were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags before check in so we could do some sight-seeing in the city. The breakfast was excellent. Very wide selection to suit all tastes. Vegan restaurant next door was a bonus.

We were a little dismayed at the lack of privacy for showering and washing. As Father and daughter we would have liked the basin to have been enclosed with the shower as a proper bathroom. A comparatively minor addition with a stud wall and a door would solve this problem.

There was no hairdryer in the room, no kettle with hot water, pillows uncomfortable. It was not clear where to park the car, and where exactly is the entrance to underground parking place. The parking place is not for free. Not so many places to hang the towels, clothes. Bed mattress not comfortable.

Location: very accessible. Tram is 2mins walk. 1 ride Tram going to Berlin Hbf (15-20mins), 1 ride tram going to Alexanderplatz (5mins) or 10min walk to Alexanderplatz. Very near to some tourist spots. There’s a lot of Restaurants & Fastfood nearby. Room: very clean and comfortable. Our room is very suitable for Family of 3.

Not plenty of options for buffet Bfast. AC or Fan not functioning. We just open the window.

The room was nice and big enough. The location was ok but there are not many places to eat nearby unless you go to Alexanderplatz. There was a nice cheap machine for coffee and tea. The staff was nice and polite.

Facilities were very basic inside the room, for example, no hair dryer unless you paid a cash deposit, no kettle or any facilities for coffee or tea inside the room. Very basic toiletries. No safe box inside the room.
