We had an amazing stay at this exceptional hotel. Hotel is centrally located with tram lines directly outside - easy to get to from train station when we arrived. Room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious with an incredibly large shower. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times - from check-in, to bar and breakfast staff and housekeeping. Breakfast downstairs was excellent (I would definitely recommend the cooked options). The restaurant space became a very cool bar at night and I enjoyed a nightly Negroni during our stay. I highly recommend The Circus Hotel.

Very nice hotel in a sweet spot (bars, restaurants, shopping, transport) It's been very well thought through and the many little attentions amount to a big impact: you can create your own guide with little cards, the selection of tea and coffee in the room is plenty, there's a free fruit basket in the lobby, the pillow menu, etc etc One other thing that I was really impressed with is the decor. You want to look at everything, touch everything. It's beautiful yet practical and comfy. Also the tone of voice is very friendly and cheeky, so have a giggle or two while reading everything

I liked everything but would have loved simple breakfast options instead of only "sophisticated" options, and the corresponding prices...

very well located. staff very accommodating and remembered details like room number from day to day. i didn't use, but appreciated, the quirky guides to staff's picks of the city - and am looking at them for next time! the decor and design of the hotel was imaginative and fun. the roof terrace with honesty bar was a lovely touch. the cocktails were great!

It faced onto a busy street so there was some noise from ambulances etc but nothing that disrupted sleep. The room could do with more drawers/shelves for clothes. The size was fine for our needs but it is very compact - apart from the bed, there's only one low chair to sit on.

Hotel sits right in the middle of one of Berlins trendiest hotspots. The hotel's interior is a perfect resemblance of its surroundings ... with the added touch of sustainable materials et al. They also offer special tours to guests related to arts, culture or history - getting you to some of the lesser-known gems of the city.

Overall quite pricey and not really suited, if you just want a place to sleep for a quick in-&-out trip to the city. The have a hostel just around the corner for that...

The hotel is modern and extremely clean. Great bar and facilities and the staff were more than helpful whenever we had any queries. Before we arrived, they advised us of events we could book via the hotel before we went, and we ended up getting football tickets for the Saturday through them. The location was brilliant, loads of bars and restaurants nearby, and underground was located just outside the hotel, making commuting to other areas really easy and stress free

We paid for a city view, which in fairness was a great view, but we could hear the music from the downstairs bar till early hours of the morning even though we called it a night late we can't party till 3am these days 😅 The trams seemed to run outside from 6am, so that was off-putting being woken early. Hotel needs some triple glazing but having a room at the back of the hotel, this wouldn't be an issue

Nice room with good facilities. Nice bar area. Staff were good and friendly. Casual but efficient. It is located in an area with a few restaurants which makes life easier on an evening. Just beside a U station and tram stop. Walking distance to Alexander Platz

We booked breakfast. The classic breakfast is v good but too much for everyday. Would probably go bed only and pick and choose when or whether I’d have breakfast in the hotel.

A lively neighbourhood of cafes and restaurants, right next to an underground station. Great walks nearby, we used Voicemap app to find interesting historic walks. The hotel's bar is very chill and the cocktails fantastic. Delicious breakfast options, might seem pricey but normal for the neighbourhood. Lovely view from our room. Our daughter and new husband were delighted by the surprise sparkling wine in their room - thank you!

The bathroom door sadly didn't close properly.

The location was excellent with many restaurants in the neighbourhood and easy access to trams and metro. The hotel had a fresh colourful feel to it and the personel were possibly the most friendly and helpful that we have ever had. If you take the classic breakfast, it's well worth its money and if you have a later breakfast, you certainly will not need a lunch. On the ground floor there is an open, relaxing lounge (bar after 18:00) opening onto a lovely courtyard which is also well furnished. In the evening if using the bar, you have to be able live with EDM (Electronic Dance Music)

The only negative to the hotel is the constant rumble of trams and underground metro, although having said that, my wife and I did not miss any sleep despite the rumbling.

Location was perfect as it was situated next to an underground station and also had plenty of places to eat and pick up essentials within walking distance. I forgot my travel adapter and the reception lent me a spare one which was really appreciated.

The room was noisy but that was expected as it was above an underground station and next to a tram line. It did not cause any real issues and didn't prevent us from sleeping.

Went to the Circus Hotel b/c of Rick Steves' recommendation, and he was spot on. Location is excellent - relatively easy access from BER and U-Bahn is at the Circus Hotel's doorstep. Situated at the edge of Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte - can walk to lots of great Prenzlauer Berg restaurants and interesting shops. Mitte accessible on foot or easy U-bahn ride to historic sights. Circus Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was EXCELLENT - delicious food from adjacent/adjoined Codos Cafe - really high quality.

The bed was too soft/mushy and seemed in need of replacement. Was still ok to sleep on, but seemed under-par for the high quality of the rest of Circus. A small in-room fridge would be helpful.
