The room had a an automatic curtain in addition to a curtain you pull so the room would get relatively dark at night. They provided me with a doggy goodie bag upon my arrival for my little furry buddy; such a nice touch you don't usually get. They compensated me for the elevator not working by removing the pet cleaning fee. They have this concept of abenbrot where you have the option to have some dinner free of charge, or pay just 6EUR to have a warm meal - this is great and super cost friendly compared to all hotels. Bed, pillows and sheets were very comfortable.

They did not provide body lotion in the rooms.

I stayed at the Henri hotel for 6 nights whilst travelling for work whilst my company was exhibiting at Messe Dusseldorf. The Room was splendid; roomy, high quality furnishings, comfortable, was very clean and had a good view of the city - the electric blinds (outside the windows) are a quite a cool and nifty design feature. The breakfast was very good - they offer a huge selection and you form your own dishes; from bacon, scrambled eggs, olives, cucumber, cheeses, sauces, dried apricots, seeds, nuts, yoghurts and so much more - all very healthy. Food/drink wise, I particularly like the idea (and flexibility this offers) that you can go down to the "kitchen area" at anytime of the day/night to pick up snacks and drinks out of the fridge (chargeable to your room). Overall, the Henri experience was fantastic. If I ever venture to Dusseldorf again, this hotel will certainly be my top pick!

Absolutely nothing - one of the best hotel stays I have ever had - especially at this price point.

Highly enjoyed our stay at Henri. The most important thing: the room was really quiet, no outside or inside noises break through. Good breakfast with many vegetarian options, staff were really nice. Loved the details in the room, for example the small personalized messages on the shower gel or water. Location: perfect for us: in a quiet area, but close to many public transportation options and just a brief walk to city center (10 mins). Thank you, we had a wonderful time at Henri!

We only regret that we didn't stay more days in Düsseldorf.

Although the hotel location may not be that close to the main station, this is definitely a value-for-money hotel to choose. We were given the highest floor upon request and due to low season. The room we booked were exactly (& more than) what we see in the photos - the design, the layout, the big windows where we could wake up to seeing Dusseldorf, and more importantly, the sustainability efforts that the hotel tries to inculcate into its overall services. We had a little mishap on the day of our checkout, but the hotel staff (can't remember the lady's name) went above and beyond to rescue the situation. We were out for a quick breakfast before checking out, came back to find the lift was under maintenance (without knowing when it'll be done) and we needed to head to catch our train ASAP. To our surprise, staff on duty went above her duty by climbing all the way to the 8th floor to bring our luggage down (fortunately the repair was completed when she brought it down) without us asking for it. Thank you so much for rescuing the situation for us.

The property was very modern, up-to date and clean. It had all the facilities advertised and was perfect for our short stay. What made our stay at Henri hotel was the staff. We spent our late evening chatting to a gentleman who was working reception (Elias) and he was so friendly, helpful, funny and made our stay at Henri. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

The person who welcomed me at the reception desk was very professional and friendly in an authentic way. She gave me suggestions for an (excellent) Japanese meal at a nearby restaurant. The vintage design chosen for both the lobby and the rooms is in good taste and does not feel like an easy branding option. The studio room was nicely set up with a spacious, nicely-tiled, spotless shower area, good light for a little lounging and reading. Too bad there were no robes.

Although there are some Japanese restaurants nearby, I am not sure this is either a trendy or convenient area for exploring the museums. Having a car made up for it.

the property is so funky and artistic and the little patio out back is so nice to get some fresh air. loved the honor system bar, was nice to feel at home and not bother anyone. the WiFi is strong which was so nice to have for working & video calling, and the waterfall shower is amazing!!

there isn’t much space in the room to put your luggage or to move around much. perfect for one person but very tight for two. there is only one outlet in the bathroom.

great hotel. wasy to access with near by parking garage. lovely atmosphere. the room is very nice with wondows and electronic shades. 5 minutes walk from cafes, restaurants and shopping districts. the staff were very polite and friendly.

The atmosphere as a whole. Very nice design, everything was clean. The fact that you could open your windows, the possibility to make your room very dark. I didn’t hear anything. Check out untill noon. Super convenient. The breakfast was amazing, everything of outstanding quality, from the tea till the bread and the cheeses

The breakfast is spectacular, the staff are wonderful, the rooms are comfortable. It's a wonderful place to stay.

The hotel is located on a sort of busy street. This is the only single drawback. But the windows are thick and soundproofed, so one sleeps well here, it's just not the most quaint location.
