Everything was up to expectation. It's no luxury hotel by any means, and it's not trying to be. The location and the price are the reason you travel there. The staff is spot on, the 24/7 reception is a plus and the hotel is very clean.

As for the negatives well, it's an OLD hotel, nothing wrong with that but just bear it in mind. See it as a time capsule ;p Oh, and the bed (at last mine) sang at every of my moves. May be due to my sheer heaviness or to the age of the bed frame. Other than that, the hotel was as expected and fulfilled its purpose nicely, would go again.

location was excellent; walking distance to everything worth seeing in the city. 5 minute walk to the train station with lots of shops and eating places and less than 10 minutes to reach airport.

the room was very small. the "desk" was very low so it was not possible to use it for work. instead of a double bed there were 2 twin beds pushed together and the mattresses kept coming apart. the blanket was too narrow and there was only 1 pillow that was too thin.

The lady on reception was lovely and really helpful! She was also very kind when my friend's managed to lose the umbrella I was lent by the hotel.

The only issue with the hotel for me was perhaps the location being a little out from Old Town but it was only a relatively short walk away so it didn't present a problem and I am sure that is part of why the price was more affordable.

the location is great - easy access from the airport; everything in the city is within walking distance. the staff is very helpful and provided good information on getting around and some of the history of the area.

i asked for a double bed but the room had 2 twin beds pushed together. and the blanket was for a single bed so it was not quite big enough.

Very easy walk from the railway station. Less than 10 minutes. This is an excellent budget hotel. It is basic but perfectly OK and has everything you need. The bed was comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was good with a very good shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly. All in all outstanding value for money.

The hotel is very close to the central train station and a lot of other bus and underground stations. It is great value for the money and the staff is incredibly friendly. The room is very spacious and the beds are super comfy. The breakfast is exactly what you need and everyone is there to help of you need anything. I highly recommend it especially for people wanting to visit Dusseldorf by foot. You can get around the city very easy.

The Staff were wonderful & friendly. They went out of their way to provide whatever we wanted. The breakfast was included & very nice. The location was very central to everything and very walkable to all attractions and close to transport.

Location was great, next to the Japanese quartier which is full of amazing restaurants, cafes and little shops. It is also close to the train station and walking distance to the city centre or any transport system. Room was ok, and very clean. Staff was very helpful and we could leave our bags in custody the last day.

Beds were a bit too old so mattresses were too soft. We would have liked a kettle to make some tea during the night.

The location is perfect to reach everything what I need! Members of staff was very friendly kind and understanding, its perfect. I will defiantly come back, and I will recommend to everyone come to Dusseldorf.

The room was cozy, simple, well located, and clean. There was a mini fridge that helped us keep our drinks cold 😊

It gets noisy if you open the windows. Our room was on the top floor, and the ceiling felt a little bit warm, but luckily, the weather during our stay wasn't too bad.
