Rooms were nice, clean and new. Breakfast was also nice, there is so many possibilities.

It seems that staff is not so interested, i was also waiting so long in order to check in at the beginning. I also dont know why they did not change towels everyday- its 4 star hotel. They are working and you can ask for whatever you need but in the end it seems they dont have connection with guests.

Located directly in Little Tokyo of Düsseldorf for everyone who is looking to experience Japanese lifestyle & culture with a subway station in less than 5min of walking distance if you’d like to check out the rest of the city as well. Apart from its location the hotel’s rooms aren’t just really beautiful (modern minimalistic), but also exceptionally clean and air conditioned.

Elevators to the different floors with guest rooms can be used by everyone entering the building instead of using the key cards to ensure that only the guests and authorized personnel can access the floors.

The staff were very accommodating and kind, they put up with our 'in progress' German and helped us out in English when we needed help! The room was very comfy and clean and serviced daily. I requested some black tea and milk and a kettle and tea bags were delivered to my room before we'd made it back upstairs, which was very kind. The bar staff were lovely and the hotel in general has a very upmarket feel without being pretentious, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I've personally had a very restorative week and the Clayton hotel has certainly helped towards that. Thanks 😊

I don't love single mattresses/ duvets together instead of a king sized bed, but I appreciate this is the norm on the continent, I just kept losing my duvet in the night and getting cold toes 😆 that being said, the pillows and duvets were super soft and lovely, I usually struggle with neck ache and use a special pillow at home, but I was fine with these ones.

The initial meeting and greet was really friendly, the Executive Suite fabulous; the pool, spa and bar facilities great. Brilliant location in Little Tokyo and within walking distance to the main train station, The Altstadt (Old Town) district and the Rhein river. The Greek food and the Schöfferhofer Weissbier in Bar & Co around the corner is fabulous too, along with great hand roasted coffee at Röstzeit Kaffeerösterei.

Poor customer service overall, especially some people on reception. Despite requesting extra coat hangers and decaffeinated coffee pods for health reasons due to a heart condition for our room, they never materialised. Also, there were no instructions on how to use the air conditioning and despite several attempts to cool the room down, it remained above 25° for 4 days in 25-30° heat🥵.

Everything except the stupid, so-called "coffee" machine and the fact that there was no kettle to make tea.

A kettle to make tea. The synthetic powder in those pods tastes awful. Even to be able to make nescafé would be better than what that silly machine can make. Also, the pods are really bad for the environment.

Location is superb. Smack dab in the middle of lilla tokyo. Which is lined with shops and food. Staffs are helpful and requests is handled very quickly, like when we requested for a kettle and new towels.

Cleanliness’s needs to improve. The new towels in the room is stained with blood or some other stuff. Doesn’t feel like its clean enough. The bathroom smells musty as well. Coffee machine does not output hot water, only use for capsule coffee and tea. So we had to request for a kettle. Would be good to have a microwave for heating our japanese lunch box.

The hotel is super central just next to many asian restaurants and shops. that was one of the reasons I came to düsseldorf for and that is why I chose the hotel. the hotel is okay and fits the purpose.its clean and the beds are comfy.

Their elevator system is weird. you choose your floor on the outside and it assigns the elevator for you. this may be efficient and power saving but it is irritating, especially when you want to go from the parking to your room. you first need to get out in the ground floor and then get back in into the next elevator.

Hotel is very clean and comes from being a Japanese style hotel. Location is perfect as is close to the Station but is very quiet and nice neighbourhood- Little Tokyo- with plenty of Restaurants. Breakfast is very complete

The Hotel is expensive but they still charge going into the Pool/ Spa. This shouldn't happen considering the cost already. Equally, there is no toiletries in the bathroom apart from soap and shampoo. You may think that a Hotel with that price would have nice creams and other needed things. Information is also not very clear. There is supposed to be an information channel and it only shows sushi... when you finally figure out that you need to scan a code for information the link is outdated and it doesn't help much.

The location is in the middle of Little Tokyo. Check in was flawless, the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable, although somehow the bathroom is pretty small but that didn't bother us so much. Nonetheless Düsseldorf is a beautiful city, and Little Tokyo has so much to offer, so we extended our stay for another night. Would definitely come back staying here!

The fact that the windows are fixated it was impossible to just get a circulation of fresh air. We can still hear the tram passing by late at night, for light sleepers better avoid the room facing the main road.

* The room is very beautiful and clean with a big bed. * The view is nice, the location is very central, so everything is easy to reach. * It is not expensive for what you get back in return.

* Unfortunately no air conditioning. On a warm day the room will be very warm. * The TV is in German only and there is no way to connect and stream your favorite series from your phone. * The water of the swimming pool is not heated. You may get used to it after a while, or you may not. In either case prepare to feel very cold water. You should know this if you're thinking of going for a swim.
