The staff at the check-in counter and the bar were in general very friendly and helpful and provided very useful instructions on how to reach the airport by foot in the early morning hours. You can reach the airport by foot in 20-30 minutes via a small road next to the airport cargo area. If you have a lot of luggage or don’t want to walk, it is also possible to just call a taxi, especially in the morning. If your flight is during daytime, you can also go to the train station nearby (10-15 minutes walk) and take the sky train from there directly to the terminal. Food is primarily available in the Novotel next door. Rooms are clean and modern. Overall recommendable if you want to fly from the airport and need an accommodation nearby.

There are no shops/restaurants in close proximity, so you basically need to eat at the hotel (not a problem, just something to be aware of). Otherwise everything went very smooth.

Very Friendly staff + great option to be able to leave the car for free for a few days when travelling! Rooms are perfect and clean. Will stay there next time too!

There was a group of people drinking outside, which is of course no problem, but they talked quit loud and stayed (too) late outside. My room was at the side of the terrace on the 2nd floor. An end-hour of the bar outside around 22.30u would be great. Had a very early fligt and didn't sleep befor 2AM because of them. But Hey, it's ok... It won't stop me from booking there again. Just bad luck this time.

The location is perfect for those who need to catch up early flights. Check-in was fast, the staff were friendly and the room was simply sufficient for a short rest. The bed was comfy, the room was clean in general and the shower was superb! At check-in time, we asked for a taxi at 4 am with no issues, the taxi was ready at exactly 4 am. It was only 5 min drive from the hotel to the departure terminal.

The room was really Value for Money. It was quite apt for the amount and it was very cozy. This was an extremely well-maintained property, with 10/10 for cleanliness, specially for the bathroom-toilet. The check-in was so hassle free. The property even has a partnership with Novotel chain of hotels, which is right next to IBIS. We went to the Novotel premises to enjoy some good food as well. The underground parking was 20 euros per night and it was extremely spacious. I would recommend this property for sure to anyone who is planning to stay a bit outside the city right next to the Airport.

The view from the window was that of a construction site, right next to the property. But I won't call it a downside. It's a matter of luck. My friends who got the opposite room had a great view of the Airport and roads.

It is a lovely new and clean hotel. Very comfotable bed and warm. Exceptionally clean bathroom - but it is new hotel.

This is a basic hotel with no facilities in the room. It is not well signposted from the airport and you would need to take a taxi from airport to reach it at night. I took the sky train to the carparking stop and then walked followign google maps. If you want food there is an Aldi nearby and basic meals are offered at the Novotel next door. I would only stay there if on a very short stay or need the airport early the next day.

Nice Modern hotel. Good value. Was nice and quiet. Standard size room - fairly small, but fine for a short stay. No Kettle, but this seems to be often the case in Germany. Its not far from the airport - we took the airport automated train from the terminal to the carpark and walked from there, took about 15mins. Its a similar walk from the airport train station, and pretty easy in either case. On arrival had to collect key from the next door Novotel hotel as it was late - but was expecting this from other reviews. Didn't bother with breakfast - just bought some from the nearby Aldi store. For a short layover before or after a flight its a perfect place to lay down your head.

The reception & bar in the Ibis are not open late at night. Late reception would be nice. Tea/coffee making facilities - or even a coffee machine in reception would be good. I guess you can probably have a coffee in the next door hotel's bar though when the Ibis bar is closed.

We were in Düsseldorf for the first time, for Lady Gaga's concert and sightseeing around the city. We choose Ibis hotel because of it's location near the airport and Merkur Spiel-arena. Hotel is new, comfy and nice with friendly staff. Especially miss Hilder on reception :) Breakfast was also good, there was a lot of things to choose, worthy to have it before day in the city. Bed was comfortable, shower was big, everything was clean.

Breakfast was on Sunday till 11:00, on Monday it was just till 10:00, so it surprised us a bit, but we went on breakfast at 9:40 so it was ok and there was still something to eat, so no big problem at all.

Close to the airport train station: there is a path along platform 7. As someone else said, I wouldn't advise to walk there alone after dark, but it does allow to reach the hotel on foot in 12 minutes or so. The room was spacious enough and quiet (although there is construction going on next door and they start early, so best to keep the window closed), with comfy duvet and mattress. Bathroom had all the essentials, including hairdryer. Reception for late check-in is next door, at the Novotel, but it was a pretty straight forward process and the staff was very nice and efficient. For those who don't want to spend 20€ on breakfast, there's an Aldi 5 min walk away.

Nothing in particular: the room is a bit essential (no mini-fridge nor extra pillows or blankets, for example) but for one night in between travels it's a fairly good and reasonably priced option.

The staff was very nice and helpful, both receptionists and cleaners. The room was tidy, AC was alright, bathroom was specious. Price was great. Hotel seems to be quite new. 20-25min on foot to the airport terminals and Aldi just around the corner.

It takes about 10 to 15min walk to the nearest public transport stop. A fridge and iron would be a great addition. We accidentally booked wrong date through their official site and they didn't want to cancel it even though we booked the right dates as well.

This ibis looks very new with modern interior. The standard is at the level of ibis, the bathroom facility is better than elsewhere, the room is slightly small but good enough for a night before or after the air journey. The breakfast is freshly made, good coffee and bread rolls. The selections are standard, the highlight is their freshly made pancake. Staff are welcoming and approachable.

The bed is comfortable but the pillow is a bit too soft. Personally, I was expecting sausages as same as I had in other ibis, but there was no sausage however bacon was nice and crispy.
