High quality breakfast and the breakfast staff were excellent. Absolutely worth the upcharge. The room was roughly what I expected and very clean. Water pressure was high with instant hot water and high flow; with planning, a shower could be completed with around 90 seconds of running water. It was also nice that there was a single key for all the locks to get into my room. It's directly on the RheinBahn 721 bus route to/from the airport, which picks up at terminal C (ground level near the Sky Train stop, also the location of the nearest 24-hour grocery store). The stop just to the south and the one across the highway to the west are stop for 722, which takes you to the nearby Messe. Rental scooters are usually along the sidewalks outside for quick trips in the area. Lastly, it's right off the highway if you have a car and a large shopping mall was under construction when I was there (may be completed by the time you're reading this).

It's not well set up for hot weather (presumably not that common) and it was challenging to avoid the heat. The window in the bathroom in my room made the bathroom very warm the first half of the day. In the winter, I'm sure this is a good thing. There was a minor maintenance issue with the door on the shower, but everything else was flawless, which made it stand out. Traffic noise was a bit high at times with the windows open due to the warm weather.

The hotel is close to the airport, the convention center and the football stadium. We thought we would just have a normal room, but we received an apartment right next to the hotel. It was very spacious with a kitchen, living room and huge balcony. This was a nice surprise.

To the city center, it is a bit far. That was not a real disappointment, we knew this. There is a bus stop in front or you can easily take an escooter.

Spacious room, very clean, nice bathroom & comfortable. Had a strong fan to keep us cool and a small refrigerator which was awesome. I knew when I booked it was out of town but it was an easy 10 min walk to the train and the bus stopped right near the hotel. Close to football ground and airport. The German restaurant on the site but not owned by them was fabulous.

Wifi only worked intermittently and would have loved a kettle.

The atmosphere of the hotel and the room was very cosy. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.

Our stay was during summer and as the hotel does not have air conditioning it was very warm. The staff however lent us a fan which helped greatly. If you are sensitive to heat I would maybe not recommend staying here in summer.

Very pleasant and helpfull staff, breakfast is great ( swedish table ), very convenient place for exhibition center - 15 minutes to walk. Very good Wi-fi which don't ask for your e-mail and for other personal data. Stylish oak furniture. Quite place.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Very nice and helpful staff. They were kind to help me with information I needed, to accomodate my stay and went out of their way to be kind and to support while I had a personal issue. Easy communication with staff, very hospitable and the room & bathroom were also really clean.

Very pretty and comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast was very enjoyable as well.

The only downside is that there is no elevator, so we had to carry our suitcases to our rooms upstairs.

The staff, the cleanliness of the rooms (excellent), the breakfast. The location was good too: I was on a business trip. Ease of access both into Dusseldorf and to/from the airport.

The only criticism I have is soft pillows. I like a sturdier pillow (two, in fact). It impacted my sleep. Would be good to have a choice. There is plenty of cupboard space where extra (harder) pillows could be kept. The bed itself was not too soft which, for me, was perfect.

The staff was amazing! Also the beds were super comfy and the location was perfect.

We wish there would have been fans available as the room occasionally got very hot.

We were able to check-in around 11am wich was nice. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect for a visit to the city centre and it is on walking distance (25 min) to the Merkur-Spiel Arena. We had a good breakfast and the staff is friendly.
