The rooms were really spacious and well appointed. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were great too. The car park area feels safe and secure and was really appreciated as we were travelling by motorbike. It is very central to the city centre and there are lots of lovely bakeries nearby for breakfast. It's not a luxury hotel, but it far exceeded expectations and would definitely use it again.

The automated check-in facilities were disappointing. I could not book in on line as booking.com removed all web links from communications from the hotel. If it weren't for the staff staying late to welcome us we would not have been able to access our rooms - this is meant to be an unstaffed reception and entry is by PIN code. We were very fortunate the staff chose to wait.

Location, parking in the yard, but otherwise it’s just a student dormitory with separate rooms for accommodation.

There were a lot of problems upon check-in, despite pre-registration, we had to call the operator, we were asked to re-register and only after that we were given a code for entering the parking lot and a code for the room. The owners need to think hard about how to simplify the algorithm for checking in and entering the parking lot. It is impossible to stay in such a room in the summer, a fan will not help!

It is cost and clean. Well managed place to stay. Location and transportation also nice.

There is no employee. Read the method of check-in in advance! It is complicated, not only me, I found that many people had a bed experience of check-in. In case of me, one gentleman helped who already finished check-in. He took 20mins, I took 10 mins with his help. Opening main gate was first problem. Paying city tax by mobile was the second problem.(Only can pay mobile) Opening door was third problem. And finally, check-out was final problem. Mobile tool(web site for mobile) is not perfect, and slow and it has many restrictions without flexibility. Need to improve definitely.

Great location, middle of 'Old Town', yet quiet. Everything, e.g. an open air market, shops (beautiful "Königsallee"), Rhein river with promenade and boat excursions, park, Schloss Jägerhof, restaurants (neighborhood restaurant/bar "Destille" is literally next door, the Heinrich Heine Haus and Archive only a few doors away), bars, etc. are in easy walking distance. Elevator worked, rooms are made up daily, it's very clean. Refrigerator and basic kitchen utensils are available.

Improved air conditioning is in progress, I hear (the ventilator is not too bad, though).

Digital Check in was a pain, but the team on the phone were great. however, it took me 30 minutes stood at the gate waiting to get in. room was too warm, and because we were ion the front above the cobbled road you couldn't have the window open to sleep.

Check in went smoothly as I followed instructions to the letter. I really can't understand what "problems" some previous reviewers encountered. The room was nice and quiet ( as outlined by the hotel if you want a quiet room you need to book the ones not facing the street ) Shower was superb, beds very were very comfy ( for me - I like hard mattresses), pillow was ok, towels were not huge but definitely not small. Kitchenette had everything you needed for 2 people incl dishwash soap and a sponge. Location is perfect for exploring the city and nightlife

The only thing I can comment on is that we probably got one of the smaller rooms available, but again that was not a surprise as the rooms are not all the same size. And the room was still big enough for us.

The cleaning lady is very professional.

The storage doesn't support the strict check-in and check-out time. This makes it almost impossible for travellers with luggage.

The location suited me as I was going to Rhinekermis, which was about a 15 minute walk away, and I was also able to walk between the hotel and main train staion. Room had only a single bed but was otherwise spacious.

All access done by keypads with no apparent easy means of contacting staff. No answer when I pressed buzzer but eventually realised I was not supposed to enter by the main door A map showing the room location would have prevented this confusion.

Cleanness and very close to the center and old town

WI-FI was not available in my room. Since I was there for for work and the hotel was kind of kolping, reception was not available in the late evening or early morning when I was arriving or leaving the room to ask them to fix it. Also the bath room towels were being changed everyday, but they were not cleaning the bath in daily basis.

Great location. Clean and well appointed. Nice parking lot in courtyard.

Check in process is quite complicated. First fill in all details online including passport for all travellers, then at 3pm on day of check in you have to check in online, then you get 2 codes via email… Finally we got in. Note, your code to get out of the parking expires at checkout so at 11.01am you can’t get out of the parking lot so you have to call and get a new exit code.
