Breakfast is very good and has a lot of choices. The beds are comfortable. The location of the hotel is close to the town centre with shops and restaurants and there is a 2,5km walking trail ‚panorama Weg‘ starting not far away from the hotel with nice views over the area. The Watts brasserie offers good food but is pricey.

€25 for a dog/night is pretty excessive given that there are no provisions for a dog. The shower doors don’t close properly and even with the best possible care one cannot avoid water escaping onto the floor of the bathroom (room 109).

Good secure bike storage . Staff was helpful and friendly . On site restaurant was rather pricey but there are several restaurants within walking distance that are convenient with reasonable price point . A/C was in room but not very effective and was unable to cool the room to comfortable level but it was extremely hot outside when we visited . Aldi Supermarket within 4 minute walk . Room was clean and bright . Very nice bathroom with toiletries . Good breakfast with hot and cold options .

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of the pretty town. Room was clean and comfortable with modern bathroom. Breakfast was full hot buffet style. Parking was good with underground garage if wanted. Location was a 15 minute walk into town which was well worth a visit with plenty of places to eat and we did note many vegan choices on menus. . Very reasonably priced room

Comfortable rooms and beds, convenient location for us travelling across Germany. The attached restaurant price bracket is well worth the astounding quality of the food and the wine we tasted on the night.

We arrived Saturday evening and the hotel car park was full with customers of the excellent attached restaurant. We had to use the underground car park for extra EUR 10. No big deal.

Good breakfast! It was included in the price. Lot's of options to choose from. It has a very convenient free parking place, so that you don't have to stress about where to leave your car. It is located in walking distance to the very nice city center, no need to go by car. The bed was big and comfortable.

We were in transit and we enjoyed stay in this place. It offered convenient location, just few minutes from Ettlingen Center which was nice area with many restaurants. We were offered a free parking. We had good breakfast - all what was needed to rest before continuing holiday trip.

Friendly staff, large clean rooms, very comfy beds, simple but pleasant breakfast, hotel parking, accepted our dogs and small park next door to walk them. More than sufficient for an overnighter.

Sad that we had to pay €8 for the underground parking because the parking outside the hotel was taken with cars eating in the restaurant next door. It's not cost at only €8, it's rather the principle when we have paid for two rooms. Also the restaurant/bistro is a bit misleading they are not part of the hotel and the reception couldn't reserve for us.

Ettlingen is a nice authentic town, and Watthalden Hotel is located 10 minutes walking distance from the town center. Hotel is a decent and modern looking one with reasonably priced, clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is quite satisfactory with a lot of choices. There is free WiFi all around the hotel. There are some free car parking spots in front of the hotel, but also in a nearby location. There is also a (possibly paid) underground parking garage. The staff at the reception were all helpful and cheerful. There is Aldi 100m away, right across the street and a Michelin star restaurant next to the hotel. We were quite satisfied with our stay and will definitely chose this hotel in our next trip to Ettlingen.

The staff at the breakfast area were a bit nervous in learning the room numbers of guests and placing them at tables that are as big as the number of guests, but they were not disrespectful.

Great location, clean rooms friendly staff. 24 our reception... We traveled long from Italy and need a room. The pricing including b'fast was marvelous... The hotel has all you need.. and I'd it is not there they will sort it out. The breakfast in the morning was rich healthy and good.. we noted this hotel as a stopover place for future travels

Breakfast was super, we got a large and clean room. 24H reception, parking in front of the hotel and vicinity to the highway was important for us since we booked the hotel for one night to halve our trip.

The rooms could get a restyling since they’re a bit out to date.
