Great location and friendly staff. Parking was excellent but very limited. Room was nice but bed lacked some support. Tram to downtown was right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful.

Trash pickup at 630am was not pleasant but not the hotels fault. Breakfast was a bit too much. We were sat at a table with breads and butter. We only needed one piece and not sure what happened to the rest of the food? Then meats and cheeses arrived without asking. Then 2 eggs 🥚. Neither of us eat that much food. There were 3 other tables like this. I hate to think this food all went to waste. A buffet bar or made to order may have been better?

The ladies that served us at breakfast were very nice and tried really hard to make us feel good. The location was nice, the tram passes right under the hotel. The bathroom was nice.

We ended up booking this hotel based on a review about how exquisite the breakfast was, when it really was nothing that a person alone can’t prepare, there were no pancakes, no waffles and only boiled egg. The coffee/cappuccino was ok. The room was old and we could hear everything from the stairs and the street.

A little out the center but it is a nice part of the town. Tram takes you in the city in 10 mins so that’s great. from the room I did not hear the tram at all and we slept street side! I especially liked the restaurant. good food, cosy atmosphere. Bathoomroom was small, but the shower was good. beds were also comfortable! staff was personal and friendly

Maybe some more information at the front desk about things to do in the area. asking the staff was not easy if you don’t speak German

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment at the second floor. The apartment was big, spacious and very clean. There are parking places near the building. There is also a big parking a few hundred meters away from the hotel. The breakfast was very rich and tasted really good. The personnel was polite.

One of the rooms had the window to the main road. Late in the evening and early in the morning we could hear the tram passing by. We slept with the windows open and it was a bit noisy.

The location is nice although outside of Freiburg. Very well connected with a tram that runs often. Excellent breakfast. Nice staff serving breakfast. Clean.

My room and most of the rooms are on the street side and thus you can hear the traffic. The curtains are thin and the light comes in the room early in the morning.

The hotel was amazing. It's not located in the center of the city, but there is a tram that goes directly there; so the location was really good afterall. The room was perfect, very clean and there was hairdryer. The breakfast in the hotel was really good, with plenty of options. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which serves good food for afordable prices.

Staff were very friendly. Food was excellent. The rooms were clean. Location was perfect at start of Black Forest and only 10 minutes by tram to the main town, Freiberg Im Bresgau. Overall, a fantastic stay. We would definitely recommend.

The traffic early in the morning was a little noisy (tram line).

Breakfasts were amazing, the staff were warm and kind, and the village of Gunterstal is truly a special and quiet place surrounded by amazing trails and walks.

To have the restaurant closed for dinner 2 nights of the week was too much!

I was missing a desk in my room, where I could sit and work. I liked the furniture in my room except the chairs, who were a bit worn down

We are extremely impressed with the the way we were checked in, the room was pleasant, the bed was really comfortable. We were very late but they were willing to pea-are us a late dinner and breakfast was also very good. Can only recommend this hotel.
