Gasthof Lerner

Our room was very spacious, clean and modern. The room fan that was provided was greatly appreciated. It both brought the cool night air in and eliminated any outside noise, which was minimal. The breakfast was also very goofy. Since the restaurant at the hotel is closed on Friday nights, we were directed to a nearby beer garden which was very good and an easy walk. Parking was also free and right in front. Staff was friendly.

Comfortable rooms with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful and a good selection. The restaurant food was excellent. Little touches contributed to a lovely stay. Location within walking distance of the Weihenstephan brewery was a bonus.

Would have liked to have tea making facilities in the room. Otherwise, everything was of a good standard.

Breakfast was very good traditional German hotel breakfast. The restaurant was very good. And we were able to walk through the countryside, along the river and down to the center of town. We also walked to the railway station. And the view of the German Alps from the ridge above the University campus was wonderful.

Nice staff, comfortable beds. Breakfast. We would probably stay close to the city center next time. But it was a clean and nice place.

A bit noisy in the back there are several vehicles parked and folks walk back and forth to them which was right outside the balcony. Next door balcony smoking is allowed so the smoke blows into the adjacent room. Room was a bit tight with two large suitcases.

The property was well located with easy access from public bus. Helpful staff with a warm and friendly manner are helpful and resourceful in knowledge of the area of Freising. The restaurant served a great variety of dishes and was delicious.

The check in was super quick and the gentleman at the reception was really friendly and professional. The hotel is close to the airport so it was really convenient having an early flight.

The beds could be a little bigger, and I was missing an outlet to charge the phone beside my bed. The neighbours were loud in the balcony.

The people running the hotel were great. The breakfast couldn't be better. It is most excellent. The rooms were clean and well lit and comfortable. My favorite stay on this trip. Most excellent.

I think I added a review about no elevator. This one does. I got mixed up. Breakfast was excellent as was all else. I wish I had more time here.

Perfect location when having early flight from Munich Airport, very good breakfast (already from 06:30), restaurant with dinner option, beer garden.

Did not like the carpet on the floor in one of our rooms (smelled a bit), the other room very nice (except a bit warm)

Super comfy beds and pillows, good selection of food for breakfast. Parking in front and back of property is a huge advantage.

A kettle in the room would be a top notch.
