very good central location, 5 min walk from the main train station; very helpful friendly staff, very good sound isolation from outside: with closed windows we could almost hear nothing from the street, as well as from neighbours :)

the two bedrooms have sliding Japanese doors with literal paper in them, so sound isolation (and, therefore, privacy) within the apartment does not exist, as well as light isolation: if the light is on in the living room, it lights up both bedrooms. The living room has no windows, so imagine waking up first in the morning while someone is still sleeping in the other bedrooms: sitting in silence or low whispering, half in darkness...

Greeting from reception on arrival was exceptionally good, seeing us up to the apartment, showing us how everything worked and giving us useful information for our stay. The apartment was very comfortable and efficient. Everything worked well. The service of free coffee, milk, water and even dishwasher tabs from reception was very gratefully received. If there is anything we would add to improve our stay it would be the putting up of hooks on the bathroom and bedroom doors and a mirror in the 2nd bedroom. Very minor improvements.

The property was great everything you need is available! Perfect for a family, stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Such as ac in the living room which was amazing. However, no ac in the bedroom. We had to leave the bedroom door open. Cooking, laundry facilities is available in apartment. Perfect location everything is nearby. The accessibility to the building is secured, key card is need to open the door. The property was very clean.

The coffee machine ( water compartment) was a bit dirty but it didnt affect my stay. Would recommend capsule machine.

The location is perfect, very central for the old part of the city, just a few minutes walk from the Binnenalster part of the lake and the beautiful historical Rathaus. Shopping is close by and there's no shortage of coffee shops, bars and restaurants etc. The service at the apartment is excellent, professional and very friendly. The apartment itself was lovely, well equipped, clean, tidy and well presented with everything you could need for a city stay.

the beds, (2 x small single) in the 2nd room were not ideal, small and a little uncomfortable with a huge pillar separating them.

I travelled with a friend and it’s important for me to have my own space when not out and about exploring the city I’m visiting. the apartment was just that, we had our own rooms and separate bathrooms. The open plant living room and kitchen was great because it kept it a nice clean space for a little down time between day time and evening activities around Hamburg. Eric who checked us in was wonderful, he went out of his way to recommend hotspots for the Hamburg experience and showed us to our room and explained how to use certain facilities within it. I will definitely be recommending these apartments as the location was perfect!

there really wasn’t anything I could fault with it.

We arrived early at the property and were very surprised when our room was ready and we were able to check in. It was such a relief because walking around for the next 4 hours with a tired baby was going to be tricky. The apartment was clean and well equipped - it even had shampoo and shower gel. And access to dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets- they had thought of everything. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always asking if we needed anything. The location was excellent!!

Great location for the single travelers and travelers with kids. Property is clean, warm and cosy. Plenty of various restaurants and caffes around. Location is far enough from the main sation to avoid ususal disturbancies from in such areas, but is still maximum 5 minutes walking from train to door. Staff on site is amazing and helpful.

Pillows are the only dissapointment as they are quite thin and pillowcases are oversized. Bath towels are a bit small for a grown up man, but it's manageble.

It was fine, scrupulously clean & well located for the train station which we were using for arrival and departure. Also easy to walk to many parts of the Old City. Comfortable, good beds, nice & dark for sleeping which is most of what we did there. There's also a good selection of nearby restaurants and cafes if one doesn't feel like traveling.

The dish cleaning kit was great, but it would be nice to include a dish drying towel.

I have had an excellent stay at Eric Vökel Apartments! First of all, I was greeted by incredibly helpful and friendly staff who were with very optimistic energy. I was able to check in a bit earlier which was helpful as it made my day schedule much easier. The location was very central and it is in a safe building! Easy to find and also easy to travel to other places by all the public traffic available. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and had everything and much more than I needed. I feel like this is a great deal and at a low price and will definitely book again!

The staff was AMAZING! Super helpful the entire stay, very informative, very patient and all around very pleasant people. The location was excellent, about a 2 min walk to the train station, lots of places to eat and shop at in the area. Close to the lake, so beautiful scenery. The room was clean and well kept.

The walls are paper thin. I stayed in a 2 bedroom and you can hear the person blink in the other room. But that does not overshadow how excellent everything else was.
