It has air conditioning in Karlsruhe in August! That was the biggest plus. Coming inside was like being able to breathe again. They had thoughtfully placed mint/lemon/lime water next to the entrance. We felt very comfortable. Staff were extremely pleasant. Location is great. Our room was at the back of the hotel, very quiet even at night with the A/C off and the window open. The room was a decent size. Our young child’s extra bed was comfortable and the room still didn’t feel cramped. Our beds were also a decent size and very comfortable.

The room felt SLIGHTLY dated. I mean, everything worked and everything was cleaned daily, but I think they probably want to update the carpet eventually (we found a small sticky patch, maybe it couldn’t be cleaned). And the grout between some of the tiles in the shower was starting to turn black. But really, these are very minor complaints. On the whole the hotel felt very clean and extremely comfortable.

I loved this hotel. Stayed another night reception staff all warm welcoming very helpful and professional I given a free upgrade to a wonderful spacious room overlooking the large internal area. So quiet. So well appointed. Super clean super comfy bed pillows and linen. Best nights sleeps for ages Windows opened for good ventilation. Wifi stable fast Location very handy. Trams outside door. Supermarket across road. Not much ambience but only 10 min walk to market place and palace. Very Highly recommend

Very friendly and helpful staff, perfect location to discover the city on foot. Very tasty breakfast with both salty and sweet options, including lactose-free milk and yoghurt. The reservation spoke of a fee of 24 euros per night for parking inside the hotel garage - which would have been heavy. We were pleasantly surprised to not be charged for parking at checkout! Very nice treatment. All in all, a very good value for money rate.

The tram was noisy in our room overlooking the main street.

We booked Superior rooms. They cost a bit more but they are on the rear of the hotel so no street noises. Beds were great and the bathroom was fully equipped. We had an additional bed in the room for one of the children, there is a fee for this but it is a low fee that's fair for the additional bed. The breakfast was included in the room price, was plentiful and had lots of choices. They made some mistakes in our reservation at first but hotel staff was helpful and resolved the issue. The hotel simply is good value for the rooms and facilities you're offered.

The 22 euro underground parking was off-street and spacious but not secure and not fenced even tough they clearly had (or should have) the possibility to close the entrance during nighttime hours.

The room was spacious and clean with decent sound isolation with muted (but not completely) the traffic noise from the busy street outside.

The interior was visibly dated, the bathroom had no shower cabin (the shower was arranged in the bathtub), the room lacked amenities (no kettle, no shoe spoon, no pen and paper, etc.), the breakfast was too expensive (19 €)

very good location in the city next to tram and public transportation. good parking in the building basement against extra charges. staff friendly, helpful and always available. WiFi of good quality in the room. breakfast buffet of very good quality, tasty and variety, as well for a healthy start of the day with lots of fresh fruits.. nothing to complain or missing during our stay 👍

The hotel was central and accessible by public transportation. Very close to the center and the Christmas markets. The rooms were very nice and equipped with both a fridge and a bathtub. It is just opposite a very nice supermarket where you can find nice products.

Unfortunately, we had two single beds tied together into one single bed which reduced our comfort because of the gap between the two single beds.

Very comfortable, clean and overall good experience. Everything we would ever want from a hotel for a few night stay. Can't say much about breakfast, we didn't need it (as it was already available at the venue we attended). We will certainly consider a visit again next year.

Everything. The breakfast was lovely & plentiful. Had to leave a little early though on Tuesday morning, so could not eat too much. I could not really work out the spa bath. My room was a suite on 7th floor. It was really big & the bed was So comfortable! Did not want to get up! I will definitely come back again. A great hotel! The hotel does really nice pizza. My room card wouldn't let me back in though a few times, but the staff sorted it out. Great stay!

Top Location in south east of downtown, everything in foot walking distance. Breakfast without any missing wishes! Good mattress for a good sleep!

I prefere a shower instead of a bathtub! Furniture and bathroom are a little bit in the years! 24 EUR/1 day for a car is not really cheap!
