Perfect location. Comfortable for a hostel. Clean.

Staff was really rude/not friendly for the entire stay. I would still go as the rest compensated. Super close to the concert venue.

It is really well located and easy to reach. The facility is new and well taken care of. It's probably good to know that there was a mix of ages, but the target audience is definitely highschool aged school groups. There's a really nice, varied breakfast available; a definite plus point. Cleanliness was really on point, as well. Thank you!

Maybe because there are a lot of students and some families with young kids, there was some thumping and banging noises at times from the neighbouring rooms. The staff does their job well, but to make the experience really great and give the place a better energy, a little more effort in friendliness could go a long way. Just a nice, warm "hello" when you arrive at the counter to check-in, for example. For the rest, a very fine experience. Thank you!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! I loved the variety that was offered. Checking in and out was also convenient. The location was very convenient, so I was grateful for that!

I was surprised there wasn't even hand soap at the sinks in the bathrooms... that was a little gross, especially when sharing in a dorm room. Also, towels are not included. Also, FYI, if you stay in a dorm, you need to make your own bed, which I was not expecting after a long day of travel.

Location is great, opposite Koln Messe station and a 15min walk across the pedestrian bridge to the cathedral. The room is a nice set-up of 4 bunk beds with a separate toilet and shower within the room. All very convenient. Breakfast is also provided. Great value for money.

No wifi in the rooms, only in the communal areas. If you’re unlucky to share with someone who is not considerate towards others in the room, the experience can be rather daunting. However, that’s not the hostel’s fault.

It's very close to the Köln Messe/Deutz train station. Should you choose to travel around or to the airport, it's very convenient. I also liked that the staff were helpful and even though I had to miss my last breakfast, they offered me a "to go" version. Aside from this, the place is destined for young people, even though they accept older folk too, and it has spaces created to help people socialize: there is a common room, there are some games to bring people together. There are also a few old photos of the neighbourhood to add a little history to the mix, but not too many so it wouldn't clash with the futuristic design of the building which includes the large open space naturally lit lobby where people gather, a space where you feel no pressure, no worries whatsoever and time can lose its meaning if you really want to.

No soap, or towels, you have to ask for them. The towels are 2 euro/piece but on the plus side you can use them as long as you like. And cheap soap you can get at a convenience store like Lidl.

Directly opposite Messe station. Clean and bright. First time ever staying in a hostel. Don’t know why I haven’t done this before. Will be doing again.

Shop was 24 hours but didn’t take card for less than 10 euros. I only wanted a bottle of water and ended up having to spend more than intended including a second bottle of water which was warm by the time I opened it.

Excellent location in 10 minutes from the famous bridge and Cologne Very clean and comfortable rooms, lockers are locked, inside each locker there is a safe. The room has separate shower and toilet. Beds are very comfortable. Linen is perfect. Breakfast is included. For breakfast there is a large choice of food. You can leave your luggage free of charge before and after your stay.

there were no sockets near the bed, although there was a shelf and a lamp.

Location is very central, just across the street from Messe/Deutz station. I liked the youthful atmosphere, and the size of the room was great at the price. Food was OK ( breakfast was included) but no more than that.

This place has a serious hangup about entertainment. WIFI works only in the lobby, not in rooms. You can acquire a remote control for the television against a 20 Euro deposit. However, all channels that are internet based are unavailable so you only get some local German channels. And darn if I didn't forget to return the remote at checkout. I left it in my room (after all, that's what you normally do with remotes...) - 20 good Euros wasted...

Very clean and beds comfy

Prices were a touch high due to Gamescom week but I assume same everywhere in Cologne during this period. Price felt it was a four star but the managment could at least upgraded the room with a welcome bottle of water maybe a fridge or a tooth brush (couldnt find the Tv control and all chanels were in German, the kitchen itself was sparkling clean and very big in breakfast area but didnt justify just a boiled egg it was basic ) The fluctuation in price for that week could benefit the customer with such small gestures. Staff come accross as superconfident proffessional quick at everything but distant. A warm tiny smile can make stays memorable.

Location. Near location of metro and bus. Walking distance to Hohezollerne bridge as well. Superb location. Good bfast as well good choice to make bfast sandwich.

Staff isnt as warm but probably because they are Germans and theyre not know for service. Also wifi is only available at the ground floor no wifi in rooms.
