Simple room, perfect for one night staying. Comfortable bed.

The check-in process. On Booking it says the check-in goes until 10PM. I arrived at 9PM and there was nobody at reception, so I needed to call the phone number written in the door for "late check-in". I have no problem in doing that because I live in Germany and I have a phone that can make a call freely to German numbers, but I imagine travellers coming from outside of Europe would have issues with that. Not everyone travels to another continent with an available phone for calls, but mostly with an internet package only. This person there would have trouble entering the hotel.

A very nice little hotel in a quiet but convenient location, very close to Köln Duetz/Messe station and only about 15 mintes walk from the city centre, the cathedral and the hauptbahnhof. The room, though not large, was comfortable and had a nice balcony. Nearby were several restaurants providing easy options for evening meals.

The hotel did not have a lift and I was on the third floor so had to carry my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs. There was no shower curtain or similar which meant that the bathroom floor got very wet when I showered. There were some doors, which I took to be fire doors, that were wedged open with fire extinguishers which was poor safety.

The accommodation was very understanding about my late check-in! The room was safe and comfortable. The shower and bathroom was clean and comfortable too.

It was a little noisy but I ended up sleeping great.

I had a very late check in and staff were very accommodating with good communication in the matter. This was my second time staying here and it was a better stay this time than last. It's one of the more affordable decent properties in Cologne, certainly

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and obviously well cared for. Also the location was conveniently located near the train station and convention center.

I missed the fact that there was no air conditioning in the rooms and that there was no elevator in the hotel. This was my mistake for not noticing.

Great location if you are going to Koelnmesse. It is in a cozy neighbourhood in a less busy part of Cologne.

You should hope for quiet people in the other rooms because the soundproofing could be better.

the room (on the ground floor) was not to well isolated, all noises from arriving/departing guests were very clearly audible. the good news is new soundproof doors are ordered and almost there... (next guests happy for sure)

Great location - everything is nearby(heart of Cologne), very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, whole place is renovated so it feels nice to be there.

Already talked to staff about minuses, so hopefully they will be fixed soon :)

Location: a quick walk from Cologne Deutz train station. Host very friendly and helpful. Early check-in much appreciated. And the rooms are updated with the latest amenities. Too bad I had to leave early and missed breakfast. Room was quite quiet. Courtyard looked very pleasant.

No elevator, but stairs not a big deal.

Superb location. 2 minutes to tram. Walk across bridge to cathedral about 15 minutes. Shops and cafe bars round the corner.

No shower curtain and coloured light bulbs in bathroom and corridor.
