Great location close to the train station and the cathedral, very clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff

Rooms have no air conditioning, only a fan. Since the hotel is in a restaurant area, people are partying until early morning and sleeping with windows closed is too hot, but with windows open it’s too loud.

Excellent location amongst outdoor restaurants along the Rhine. Easy walk to train station. The Italian restaurant below is really good to have so close. Enjoyed both of our nightly meals there.

It was OK for us but some might find it noisy especially in front facing rooms with river view. There are frequent party boats out on weekend evenings. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant downstairs but it may be loud for some, but not us. You can also hear the deep rumble of the trains but again this was no big deal for us, but for some it might be. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Friendly welcome at reception. Room was very big, with large windows looking onto the Rhine. The room is simply furnished but with very comfortable beds. The room also has a kettle with aselection of teas and coffee plus a separate coffee machine. The bathroom is compact but large enough. The water pressure in the shower is very strong. A great shower with lots of good towels and toiletries. The room, along with the rest of the hotel, is spotlessly clean. Reception does close at 14.00 but the hotel emails instructions on what to do if you arrive later than that. The hotel is in a great location - by the river, 7 mins walk from the main station, close to the Cathedral and pedestrianised shopping streets. There's an excellent choice ofcrestaurants close to the hotel including the hotel's own restaurant. I really did enjoy staying here and will definitely come back.

The staff was great, the ground floor restaurant was good, and the location could hardly have been better in all of Cologne. The hotel is right on the waterfront, full of restaurants and right next to the massive and beautiful Cologne Cathedral. For us, it was within easy walking distance of the Koelnmesse conference center.

We mainly suffered from the lack of air conditioning during a long heatwave, where we had to choose between the noise from the waterfront at night, or keeping windows closed and suffering the heat. I imagine the hotel would be top notch in essentially any other situation. The only other point of note is the rather unstable wifi, which swung between excellent and totally missing.

The location was excellent, beside the Rhine and just a few minutes walk from the central railway station, the cathedral and on the edge of the old town. It was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted. It was a basic budget hotel with a small reception above a restaurant but it had everything we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the reception closes at 2pm so we had to collect our key from a key safe at the side of the building. However you use part of your booking number as a code and that worked very smoothly so it was wasn't a big problem.

The hotel is just perfect for a quick visit to Cologne! Great position (literally 5 walking mins from the Dome, the Hauptbahnhof and the downtown and tons of restaurants and cafes around it), great view on the river, super spacious and super clean room, crazy comfy bed and TV with Netflix, prime, YouTube, friendly and kind stuff. We'll definitely come again and I can only recommend to stay at this property!

The only thing I didn't really like was the size of the bathroom, weirdly small compared to the ginormous and spacious room. But Don't let this change your mind about this hotel, because the shower has the best water pressure I've seen in years!

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel after a long day travelling. There were couple of things that were important for us (due to allergy), such as there were no carpets but wooden/laminate floors and having a kettle in a room (it's a British thing:)) and as a bonus we had a lovely view over the river (see photos) and famous Cologne railway bridge. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the room was very nice, bed was comfy and breakfast was very good. But above all, hotel staff members were friendly, helpful and professional, especially young lady at the reception, sorry we forgot your name. I have been working in the industry myself, and although the furniture etc might seem modest to some people, for us this hotel was perfect. We will stay again and next time hopefully a bit longer than 1 night. Thank you everyone in the hotel!

We enjoyed our two night stay here. The location was perfect for us since we traveled by train and we loved the river view. It was easy to get around and there were many dining options nearby. The beds were very comfortable and the fan was welcome with summer heat. Even with windows open the noise from the restaurant row below didn't feel too obtrusive and once the restaurants closed the street was quiet. We enjoyed having a very tasty breakfast right onsite.

Very accessible location - the hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Cologne Cathedral, Museum Ludwig and Central Station. I spent afternoons walking along Rhine River which is just behind the hotel. The room and bed is big. The hotel staff are very responsive to queries, and for a first time solo traveller like me, this is very reassuring. They allow storing of luggage after check out, which is great if you plan to go around the city before travelling to your next stop. One thing you would need to note is that the room is not airconditioned, so you might need to consider that if you are travelling during summer.

The hotel is a quick and easy walk from the train station (less than 10 minutes). Our large triple room faced the river with a pretty view of the bridge and lots of people watching while enjoying a Nespresso. The breakfast and restaurant are great. There's even a tiny elevator if you need it.

Completely my own fault for overlooking it, but there is no AC. We had an extra warm couple of days (highs 85F). The windows opened wide and a couple of fans were in the room.
