The hotel had a very nice location with two good restaurants across the street. The room was very clean and comfortable. The check in and out was super quick thanks to the friendly staff.

Unfortunately we were not able to connect our devices to the smart tv but the and the normal programs were not completely working. There was no coffee or tea “bar” in the hotel room.

Excellent room, with all the bells and whistles I could have wished for. Clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a nice shower (rather high on my personal priority list).

I arrived late by car and there were absolutely no parking spots left on their on-site parking. Parking lot was so full that there were even cars on spots that weren't actually parking spots. Roadside parking is challenging since there are few spots and there's a 2 hour limit during daytime. On the plus side, roadside parking is free.

Location - Tram just outside the door. Take it to the town center, trains, sports stadium. Breakfast was good. Bar at night was convenient. Parking good.

Only Asian restaurants nearby (they were good but not a German pub}.

Great location, right in front of a public transit stop, a couple min walk to the planetarium. Comfortable beds, windows that open to the room, great water pressure in the shower, tv showed the American Football Playoff games in real time. Lobby was modern and nice to relax for drinks in and breakfast the next morning.

There were smudges on the tv, and the rubber baseboard was coming away from the wall in our room which made it feel less clean & less new as the styling and decor would lead you to believe. The scrambled eggs at breakfast had a strange taste/texture, I didn't care for them, but everything else tasted great. The room was really small, but we only packed a single backpack for our overnight stay, and it met all of our needs but I could imagine anyone with a decent amount of luggage would find this a tight fit.

Check in was smooth, the beds were very comfortable, the view out the window was not so bad (that's kind of a big deal for Mannheim right now in the middle of construction), staff was very professional and friendly. We enjoyed hanging out in the lounge, drinking beer/wine, eating snacks and playing foosball. The hotel was so clean, and the environment inside the hotel was welcoming and fun.

As a family we enjoyed staying at the NIU square hotel,te staff was really friendly ,and the room's we're really clean .So, thanks the NIU hotel for the hospitality , until the next time!

Nothing to complain about it! Everything was really great!

Unfortunately, a large room was not available - I get claustrophobic in small rooms. However, the staff was very accommodating, gave me a corner room which though small, had two windows. Good breakfast.

The hotel is situated away from the centre. Arriving after dark, I could find only two Thai restaurants in walking distance. The one I chose was very good though. In daylight I found a tram stop right across from the hotel which takes you to the centre in a few stops.

I liked this modern style of hotel, it has the look and feel that will appeal to younger travelers (unfortunaely I am not one). The shower was excellent, the bathroom nicely laid out and in general I felt like I got very good value for money.

The room was probably just a little bit small, but having said that, they used the space very well
