Location very good near Ostbahnhöfe station 200 m. There is close good Spanish restaurant and other cafes. Hotel new and rooms are very stylish. Particularly the room 17 m with 2 windows very nice. Rezeption very friendly.

- Classic room very small size better take the other room 17 m it’s fine. - No laundry but there is one close at this location for 4,50 euro. - No breakfast from hotel only coffee at Automat and some small food in Automat. - No wardrobe just some small shelf and no place for travel beg it’s not comfortable. - The hotel often change the prices and make them very higher so further prolongation is complicated…

The staff are so helpful and friendly. Special shout-out to Maria and Melissa 😊 they are both very helpful. The location for us is very good, quite near Rewe Shop, LIDL and DM and just 3-5min walk to East Train Station (Ostbahnhof) few stops Metro-Stop to the tourist part district. They offer us beer or water for free, if we don't have our room clean for the day and we stay for 9nights so we had a few beers for free. We will surely visit and book Gambino Werksviertel again in the future.

We booked 3 Grande rooms but 2 of the rooms do not have a good cooling system, so it was sometimes not so comfortable at night when the weather is hot. One room is perfect.

Location I can't think of a better place to have been for my trip. I travelled solo for Oktoberfest and wanted to have a good amount of fun. There's a complex just 2mins away with lots of bars, clubs and restaurants and was active throughout my stay. The Munich east station (Ostbahnhof) is also a short walk away and I could get anywhere of interest within 30 mins Pricing I came for the opening weekend of Oktoberfest so prices were naturally high. Other times of the year are much cheaper. I think the best part was that little things weren't billed. I used a pressing iron free of charge and that's a major feeling, not getting fleeced at every turn for being a tourist. Customer Service The most cordial service support was available via WhatsApp. This is a lot more convenient than those pesky intercom calls. The minute I checked in, someone reached out to me there. Top tier customer service. The reception staff were also very helpful with tips and useful fliers. Room Bathroom water pressure is great and like most of Munich, drinkable water

The room The room I got was pretty small, I could barely open my box but altogether comfortable. I guess it was designed for shorter time travellers, but I packed for 2 weeks. I didn't even know rooms could be that small 😄 There was only free to air TV, and it was mostly German. I had the option to login to streaming services, but I generally prefer not to do this on public devices. Good thing is that I had my speakers for music and a flash drive loaded with movies so I didn't fret much.

Location and accommodation

I had an issue when arrived last time cause something happened with the machine to validate the keys so people were waiting in the reception because the hotel could not do the check in, even in my case that I requested early check cause I really needed. The approach used by the staff was also not nice cause they acted like “we don’t know what happened nor when is going to be fixed” so not even an estimation of how long we would have to wait to make the check in and have access to the rooms. I really didn’t appreciate that so please even you have problems like that try to explain people what happened and be nicer about when is going to be fixed.

A very modern hotel, super clean and great location (the hotel is close to Munich East train station, with a trendy street food market on the doorstep and several supermarkets within walking distance). Staff are super friendly. Love the deco both in the room and around the lobby. The bed is very comfy. Toileteries are from Ritual. You also get free beer when you go green, which is a great trade off. I would definitely recommend this to solo travellers and couples.

The room is a bit on the small side, but adequate for a solo traveller or a couple. No actual door to the shower, so definitely not suitable for room sharing unless you are a couple. There is an air con in the room, but I couldn't figure how to make it work and, luckily it was not hot when I stayed.

Located in a very hip enclave of East Munich, only a short walk from the Ostbahnhof. Surrounded by pocket of excellent nightlife, live music, dancing, bars, restaurants, and street food, right at the doorstep. Accessible to all of downtown Munich with many nearby amenities. The room was quiet, even being so close to all the nighttime fun. Check out Zum Brünnstein for some authentic Bavarian cuisine close by.

No substantial breakfast is available anywhere near the hotel. You can bring your own banana, grab a croissant next door, or head to the Ostbahnhof for some bread-oriented morning snacks. After 10am you will have some good options for food. BTW, the Ostbahnhof is dreadfully confusing to navigate. Walk to the end of the longer of the two S-bahn corridors to find the exit nearest the hotel.

Wow, what a great place. Very funky and modern design, but everything that you need for a night or few nights stay when in Munich. The location was excellent, only metres from the Munich Ost train station. The price was reasonable for Munich and there was a restaurant and bar close by. The staff were so welcoming and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of beer and water, that was such a great touch! In the room there was a kettle & hairdryer and same, many pillows, a large TV and a good view of the city. Downstairs there is a very modern vending machine that offers fresh food and many beverages, including beer & wine. I definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Munich and we'll be back next time we're in the city.

We really loved the funky, gentrified area of this hotel! We were sceptical at first about staying so close to a train station but the area is super family family-friendly, quiet and has really easy access to the central train station and city centre of Munich. The hotel was close to the train station and had a really nice big window and window seat which we loved.

The shower would fluctuate in temperature while you were using it - so a nice warm shower would go suddenly scolding hot or ice cold and it would leak outside onto the floor which we would have to mop up. The room was very warm and sadly the fan system didn't work.

The location was just what we needed - close to public transport, many food options around. The view was an absolute plus! The room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. The lobby lounge area was a good hang out space.

The rooms do not get cleaned everyday, which was not an issue for us at first, but on a day we wanted it cleaned it was not and we had to make an additional request in the lobby to get the room cleaned and towels changed. Since we stayed for a couple of days we wished there was a wardrobe in the room, to store all our clothes. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend it to friends.

If you pick the Hotel for its style, everything fits well as a modern one. The service and arrangement are all in place and professional. It has the Berlin vibe.

However, I had overlooked the open design of the bathroom. I never understand how a completely see-through showering tub could exist for double room in so many Hotels and without at least something that can be used to cover the glasses. Secondly, the toilet handle is in ball-shaped and would get stuck or locked from outside. I always close the toilet door for sanitary reasons. At some point, either the ground breaking ball shape handle or the overly dumb handle-lock fusion mechanics, make it impossible to open the door. Worst of all case, it happens in the middle of the night. What kind of madman will agree on this design?? I'm not deducting scores for a doubtful trend or perhaps my own habit but it drove me crazy in this unfortunate occasion. Otherwise, great Hotel.
