I enjoyed the lively location. The usual hostel facilities are functional and clean (kitchen, laundry, hang out area).

Don’t appreciate having to put on the bed sheets and duvet covers myself after a long transit. The metal frame bed is such a pain when you try to be quiet and considerate to your room mates-a) when I switched on the lights by the lower bunk bed, the light leaked to the upper bunk bed. B) any movement makes clanking noises. Bathroom door not water tight. Room 508 bathroom is always wet as a result.

- Location is excellent, right next to Ostbahnhof and is also located inside a lovely restaurant park - Two bathrooms inside room which both have toilets and showers so never had to wait to use them - Beds were incredibly comfortable: huge pillows! Also has reading light, fan, charging ports, safe and small shelf for phone. Privacy curtains were amazing too. - Has lockers underneath bed that don’t need padlocks, just put in a code - Common areas were numerous and comfortable. Large cafe/bar downstairs, seating area next to reception, couches outside of kitchen and even a roof area. - Four washers and dryers. Costs €7 to use both and €1 for detergent. Really easy to use. - Kitchen was large and well equipped. Three hobs, see through fridges and lots of counter space - Staff were very friendly - Vending machine with snacks and drinks - Breakfast was good and not too expensive

- One of our assigned lockers didn’t work due to previous user not leaving it unlocked. Just needed to ask at reception for them to come and unlock it for you though - Toilet paper dispenser in one of the bathrooms in our room kept falling off the wall

The location was good. It was near the DB Ostbahnhof station and Ubahn station. There were lots of restaurants and bars around, even late at night when you need to eat after a concert. The room was clean. There was an electric fan. The checkin process was easy. The breakfast was basic but okay for the price.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and it could get noisy when the window is open. Also, when other room doors are slammed shut, you can feel the walls and floors shaking. The breakfast should at least have some hard boiled eggs. The hostel prices were more expensive just because of Adele and Coldplay being in Munich. That part was kind of awful. But I know it happens. The bed was also too soft and you have to pay for late checkout per person.

I enjoyed my stay a lot! I stayed for four nights in a 6-person dorm, and my room was quite quiet and relaxed which was exactly what I wanted. I liked the privacy curtain a lot, and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good as well.

There was only one bathroom shared between 6 people which got a bit irritating at some points. The location was close to the east train station, but during my stay the S-bahn shut down which made getting to the center or to the main station a bit of a pain. There are hostels in better locations.

-Huge lockers, could easily fit my large backpack and you could definitely fit a small/medium suitcase in it as well. And they lock with a code you create -Towel was free -Hair dryer rental (you have to put a deposit down for it but you get it back as long as you return the hair dryer) -Curtains on the bunks were nice to keep it dark if someone had to be up early or got back late -Busy area, lots of bars and restaurants right outside the hostel -USB port, outlets, and fans in each bunk -Late check in was allowed. My flight didn’t get in until 11:30pm so by the time I got to the hostel, it was after midnight and I had no issues checking in late. -Staff were very lively and friendly (even at midnight when I got there and at 3:30am when I checked out!) -Every facility (bathroom, beds, rooms, bar) felt very up to date, it didn’t feel like anything was gross or needed to be cleaned -The area is nice too. It was about a 25-30 minute walk to the city center (cathedral, market, glockenspiel, etc)

-It would’ve been nice if the beds were made when we got there. Because I got there so late, everyone in my dorm was sleeping, and trying to make the top bunk and be quiet at the same time felt impossible. -I was here on a Thursday and Friday night so I can only speak for these nights, but because of how busy the area is with bars, clubs, and restaurants, it was pretty loud at night. I wasn’t bothered by it, but it’s something to consider.

I liked how this accomodation was pretty modern, comfortable and very clean. Everything from the bathroom, rooms, building and beds was above average for a hostel. Each bed had its own locked storage (one big and one small) and its own fan which I feel is such a good add on for a hostel. The shared kitchen was kept clean and the hostel reception was open and friendly. The location was also in a good part of Munich (apparently in an ‘alternative Munich’) not too far from city centre or train station. Lots of food options around.

I got sent phishing links from Wombat’s on booking.com asking to confirm my bank details to confirm my stay, which then ended up being a scam which caused a lot of inconvenience!! A big pain!! The hostel is quite big and it could be harder to socialise in a way, so maybe the hostel could improve on having more social activities? And the kitchen fridge could also be bigger as there wasn’t much space, but this is nitpicking!

The staff, the location, the comfort, the ability to open windows and let fresh air in, the cleanliness and size of the bathroom, were all really fantastic at this location. Do be aware that this location is in the middle of party Central in Munich. This is fine. It’s just that you need to understand, You’re at a hostel and not a five star resort.

To be honest, all subsequent solo travels to Munich, I will use this location as my hotel. If I must come up with a critique, then I suppose the laundry facilities could be both larger and a little more obvious on how to use, so that I don’t lose some euros

The curtains really provided the privacy, I needed for the bunk beds. The bathroom was clean, although it would have been better if they would have provided one bath mate, as after the shower, the floor gets a bit watery.

The system of the locker. I literally can't imagine going to someone else's bed area (as my locker they provided to me was down to someone else's bed area), just to access my locker at night. As you have already numbered the bed and lockers, just try to match them. I know it would be difficult at first to manage, but you would make the locker system for the traveller really easy.

-The cleaner came everday so the room was always clean -curtains on beds -2 lockers for each person -you can open the windows -every bed has a fan -modern interior -cool modern neighborhood -comfortable beds -washing mashines available

- the Wifi wasn't always available in the rooms - not enough working and eating places for people, there need to be more tables - the main area (café, reception, kitchen, working area) are NOT secure. Strangers have access to it, so these areas can be used by people who don't stay in the hostel, which feels weird and not safe in my opinion - the coffee shop downstairs/breakfast place has TERRIBLE, but overprized coffee. Go to the coffee roasters around the corner - very large hostel, many rooms, feels more like a hotel

The bathroom and shower were good. Reception was easy and friendly, nice bar with nice atmosphere, perfect location next to Ostbahnhof and the great vibes of Werksviertel.

The metal bunkbed was really noisy (not so much for me as for the person who was sleeping below me). Also the metal lockers were at the base of the bunkbed, so to use them you basically need to make noise next to the head of the person who's sleeping... The only plug that was available was a single USB plug, quite inconvenient if you have to charge more than one thing at once.
