This place was a good value for the money. I went during Oktoberfest and the price was good especially considering prices other hotels were charging. I did stay in the single bedroom with a shared bathroom which doesn't have a view because it is in the underground floor but I didn't come here for a view. The room was plenty big and there are not many rooms that share the bathroom so didn't have to wait for anyone. Everything was kept clean. The parking is on the side/behind the hotel and seems pretty secure - someone could access the parking area as there is no gate but it is away from the street in a quiet, nice residential area so the risk is low.

It is not really a complaint but if someone was looking for this to be in the heart of the city, it isn't but that is pretty apparent on the map view. There is a short walk to the U-Banh which gets to the heart of the city pretty quick. I didn't eat in the area so no comments about restaurants but I did see a small grocery store next to the U-Bahn and did grab something from the bakery that is in that same area.

I was in town for Oktoberfest and naturally was very disoriented on the morning I left. I had lost my phone charger so I asked someone working in the breakfast area if she had one I could borrow. She didn’t but she offered to call a taxi for me and even gave me a complimentary cup of coffee for my wait! I was already impressed but even more so when I realized I had lost my backpack at the hotel and this same woman had found it, kept it safe, and tried to contact me to come get it. Excellent service all around, and the late night check in was also very convenient!

The rooms are admittedly small but perfectly fine for one person or a couple.

Close to the metro station (U-Bahn, U3) and the new (bio)technology campus. The neighborhood is very quiet, clean, and safe. I was coming late to the hotel and they were waiting for me to come and hand me the key from my room! Very pleasant and very friendly staff!

My room was very small, which per se is not a problem, but my windows faced a parking lot and the neighboring house so I could not open the window in the morning or open the curtains since anyone could peer in. The room was clean, but a faint smell of humidity was detectable. I assume that the high price is justified with the October Fest.

Breakfast was exceptional. Excellent selection of baked goods, cheeses, cold cuts, jams. Staff was exceptional. The receptionist went out of his way to help. Thanks. We like the location - within minutes from forests and parks, and the quiet community Neuried, but also adjacent to the subway station that brings you to the centre of Munich in 20 min.

A good budget choice for Munich. Close to U3 that is a direct line to|from the city's center. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good beds, quiet area. Good choice if you need a room just to come to sleep in the evening - exactly what we need!

The bathroom on the floor can be a problem when the hotel is full: there are only 2(1 woman 1 man) toilet cabins and 2 shower cabins for the whole floor with c.a. 10 rooms. That absolutely wasn't a problem during our stay, so, maybe, it happens not often here. However, it could be a problem if you have a big group that needs all facilities at the same time in the morning

The hotel was much smarter than I expected from pictures - a nice genuine private guesthouse, and a good sized family suite. In a very clean, safe residential neighbourhood with the last underground stop just at the end of the road, so very convenient. Good safe parking for cars, and they were flexible about us leaving the car for a bit after check-out. Shops and cafe nearby.

The only problem was that the beds (one of them particularly) were so creaky that we had to move the mattress onto the floor so the rest of us could sleep.

I arrived a little late and check in was easy. I needed food and I didn’t realize until after I arrived with frozen food that there are not microwaves or ovens in this hotel. The kitchen manager was preparing for breakfast and she actually cooked my pizza in the pizza oven and heated my sandwich in the microwave! The staff is very sweet. The rooms are small but perfect.

I would have liked a microwave in the room.

a lovely old-school hotel with friendly stuff and great breakfasts. It is small and quiet in a suburb neighborhood. I enjoyed the simplicity of the place, the warm atmosphere and the old fashion style.

Perhaps the bed sheets could have been softer, feels a bit like they've been used for quite a long time :) They were perfectly clean, just a bit rough. Did not care much for it though, I loved the place anyway!

The price was very reasonable for Munich during Oktoberfest. It was a very short walk to a u-bahn station and less than 20 minutes ride to central Munich and the festival grounds. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a lot of good options. The building is historic and beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful.

All was good

Loved that it was like the “country side” of Munich. We felt like locals. It was also close to a Penny store which is awesome and convenient. The breakfast had a great assortment and was delicious.
