What I liked about the hotel is a very friendly personal who works there. The guy Tobias is super super helpful and kind. If you need a kettle or anything just ask at the lobby they will give it. The earlier check in was also possible. Breakfast had a small selection but fresh and good enough to start your day. I had a promotional rate so it was a good money wise trip for me, I had a road bike with me so it was ok to ride 25 km to the center.

Looking like an ancient times castle 🏰 I guess they decided to keep inside as an ancient times also. The bed was super uncomfortable, I hardly could sleep on it and it was making sounds when I tried to move. Coffee at the breakfast was the worse coffee I’ve tasted… sadly (even my instant coffee which I had with me was tasting much better)

It was close to the Nymphenburg Palace and the Munich Botanic gardens which were places I really wanted to visit. It was also easy to get into the city by the tram from the nearby tram stop. When I arrived, I said I hoped I wasn't on the top floor as I had a heavy bag and there was no lift - the guy on reception was able to change my room to the ground floor. I only wanted a light breakfast and was able to get something appropriate for 8 euros each morning.

I had a heavy bag which I would have found difficult dragging to the tram or bus stop so I decided to take a taxi. The taxi booked by the reception to get me to the airport had a fixed price of 95euros which was not communicated to me prior to the taxi arriving - it was only a 30 minute trip probably because of the public holiday so the cost seemed excessive.

The hotel staff (Eli) was so friendly and helpful. The hotel room is spacious with comfy 3 separated beds. Breakfast was good with friendly staffs.

Our room was on 2nd floor without elevator. Understood that the hotel was built for more than 100 years ago when elevator was not available over that time. We had to take our big suitcase up stair so this would not recommend for elder (we traveled with 80 years old healthy mother). Hotel staff offered us help taking care our luggage but we were fine making it on our own.

Staff were lovely, very cute dog in the reception. Room size was adequate and well furnished with a couch and a small desk. The place was well lit and could be easily ventilated. Location was nice, in a quiet area and close to the Nymphenburg Palace Gardens.

There is only one bike available for rental of mediocre quality, so even though bike rental is free, you have to look elsewhere to find more. The sink and shower are quite small.

The hotel is very nice. It is located near the park and the Nymphenburg castle. It is in an old building, the breakfast was very good and varied. The staff was kind and there was always an English-speaking employee at the reception. I found a free parking space near the hotel, and around the hotel there are restaurants where you can have a very good lunch and dinner at decent prices.

I have nothing to complain about.

Very cute hotel, in a quite neighborhood of Munich, close to Schloss Nymphenburg. The neighborhood looks like it comes straight from an episode of "Derrick" - a leafy and affluent Munich suburb. Very friendly people at the reception desk and the breakfast area. Nice relaxed atmosphere overall. Street parking was free and easy. S-bahn is 10 minutes walk. My children had a very nice 3-person bedroom under the roof, with nice corner windows. It looked like a fairy tale. My wife and I had a more standard double room, which was OK but not special in itself. We liked it.

The hotel is somewhat old, could use some paint here and there: but it all adds to the charm.

I liked the location. It was close to the Nymphenburg Palace and a few nice cafes. It was cute, and the rooms were very clean. Once we learned how to use the bus and train, it was easy to get around.

Our room was very small and not airconditioned. Also, the shower was extremely tiny. Note: They do offer a breakfast, but it is NOT included with the room price. It is kind of expensive. However, there are some nice cafes nearby where you can pick up a coffee and pastry if you want something less expensive.

Nice historical building and area. Very quiet neighbourhood. Great restaurants, cafes and easy access to transit. Staff were very accommodating and very friendly (spoke English which was helpful and appreciated). Bathroom modern with everything needed.

Bed was a little soft for me ( wife loved it). An odd smell in our room, but it disappeared after first night or we got used to it. Both these were minor and not really problems.

We checked in very early. The receptionist was very accommodating. She offered to have breakfast while we were waiting for other guests to check out. Luckily, plenty checked out and had a room clean right away. After our breakfast and walking for several minutes around the castle, they had our room ready for us.

rooms were clean, comfortable and bathroom facilities were clean and good water pressure in the shower. we had to leave early so we did not trial the breakfast. charming place indeed

no attendant on duty at night, but we had a number. did not need anyone. so not a big deal either. parked on street, but was ample space
