The hotel is very close to the U-BAHN station so you can get to the city centre very quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It doesn't matter if you are traveling with a train or by a car, this place has you covered.

I liked good materials used in the hotel (stone, veneer, wood); the windows isolate well sounds from the outside; The room was clean, quiet. Points for a small working table to put your laptop on, a thing rarely seen in fancy modern hotels! I also like the old-fashioned way to pay your stay (no pre-payment) at checkout. The location of the hotel is reasonable quiet, right at the entrance to U5 Friedenheimer Str. (5 stations from Hauptbahnhof).

There is actually nothing serious to complain about. Perhaps that the first reasonable supermarket to buy food is at 800 m from the hotel (one U-Bahn station).

The hotel has a great position. Closely to it is a pharmacy, grocery stores, and U-bahn, which have all the necessities one would need. The hotel itself is a clean, aesthetically pleasing, quiet and calm place, where you can comfortably stay to rest after a long way. Everything in our room worked great - light, wi-fi, bathroom inventory, etc. Staff was very helpful, and check-in procedures proceeded fast, without any trouble.

Nothing that really matters - a soap dispenser is a bit tricky to use, since it requires some strength, and the sink's faucet is a bit short for one's comfort.

The breakfast was excellent, great variety, fresh, plentiful. Both German special breakfast foods & English & French style too. Staff friendly & very helpful.

It would be a good idea to have a an electric kettle in each room so that guests could make a coffee or tea easily & conveniently. Also it would be a big plus if the restaurant was open for dinner at night as the area has a limited offering of dining venues.

Good location directly across the underground station. 5 stops takes you to Old Town. Room was comfortable. Supermarket and doner restos closeby. Thankfully there was also aircon.

Staff at reception were surly. The housekeeping keeping staff gave us the complimentary bottle of water only on the first and last day of our stay for some reason. Wastebaskets were never emptied, nor was any dusting done as we noticed bread crumbs only the table were never cleaned. Not sure what exactly they did clean when they cleaned the rooms.

Excellent breakfast, convenient location by metro station

It is the second time we had room 206, nice and quiet, BUT there are 2 safes and neither worked. We already had this issue in March 2023 in the same room and now again in June 2023. Is 3 months not enough to get the safe fixed? Also, most staff is very friendly and helpful, but one woman at reception( dark hair) who was on duty when we arrived, was quite unfriendly. No water in mini bar( only coke and beer).

The location is excellent. We traveled with a 11 months old baby and got a bigger room (than the standard dbl). For daily walks, it is just perfect. The neighborhood is very quiet, there are families living there and the streets that are not on the main boulevards have houses and nice trees and flowers, so you can hear the birds chirping as you stroll. Also, at about 15 minutes walking distance, there is Westpark, which is absolutely delightful. There are stores near-by for grocery shopping and the city center is conveniently close (about 10 min by car). For parking the car, we always found a spot on the street of the hotel and it was free of charge (usually, in the evenings it tends to be less crowded). The room was nice and they clean on a regular basis (change the bed, clean the bathroom and the carpet, take out the trash). Some people have said that the furniture is dated - it is true, but it has a charm to it and with everything maintained, I do not see an issue. One good point for us was that the rooms have carpets and for a small baby, this is really great. We did not use the spa area and did not have breakfast, so no thoughts on these. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and we recommend the hotel.

There was just one thing I did not like, that could be easily fixed. We needed to use the minifridge for the baby and so I took out all of the small juice a d water bottles from the hotel. After doing this, I saw that at the back of the fridge there was some sort of a stain. I tried to clean it, but could not fully remove it. Would be great to check after each guest checks out, take everything out from the minifridge and clean it properly. Also the toilet seat was not fixed on both pins, just in one and sometime it slipped, but this is a small detail.

Great shower (usually hard to find in hotels). Nice and comfortable bed. Clean and quiet. We always managed to find a space and park the car in the street on the right of the hotel (no charges). Italian and German restaurants 5min walking distance. Bullangerie 2min away and the supermarket 10min walking distance.

The sofa bed for the kids was not bad, but we suggest a mattress pad/ topper to be used for it in order to be more comfortable. Perhaps 2 more hangers in the bathroom will be useful. We didn't try breakfast so we don't have an opinion, but we found the 21euro price per person very high. If it was lower we could have avoided losing time at the supermarket & have breakfast in the hotel.

Room had recently been renovated. Modern and comfortable. Downtown location easily accessible by U-bahn U5 and within walking distance of local amenities. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and made the stay great. Room had a mini-fridge, closet, extra blankets and pillows, beds for myself and 2 kids, full bath, tea station, welcome water/beer/cola and a lovely bay window.

Room was quite small, but good enough for 1 person. All was clean. Minibar provided complimentary welcoming drinks. Exceptionally good breakfast. Cafe staff performed very well even with a lot of customers. Hotel entrance looks very classy with all the marble.

Lift was not operational for a few days.
