Prime location, it is literally at the Sendlinger Tor, which is one of the 3 big subway junctions, everything is super reachable from here. Even the heavy roadworks they've been doing on the square did not affect easy transport. I've been in a room with a double bed, it was huge, like a small apartment, not like a typical hotel room. Very nice. The staff was friendly and efficient, and by friendly I mean not just "front desk friendly". One night I came back very late, and on the way back I've came across one of the front desk guys in the city, and he recognised me, said Hi, it was a very pleasant experience. The soundproofing thing is real. It is busy there, even after midnight, but you close the windows and hush... nothing.

No AC. The daily temperature was around 32-34 °C (well above 90 °F), so it would have been nice to be able to cool down the room at night. I am not fond of AC in general, since it is not healthy, I prefer to open the windows at night to let it cool naturally. The late night air would have been excellent for that, but since it was the middle of downtown, the street noise made it impossible to sleep that way. So on hot days, the choice is either noise or a very warm room.

The Coffee Machine is great, also the dinning area is roomy, clean and with a TV. The location is just what anyone visiting Munich would ask for, within a 15 minute walk to Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt and a few steps from the Sendlinger Tor transit station. Going in the opposite direction Glockenbachviertel is an amazing area to explore.

Probably a few more treats on the breakfast table will help, pastries in addition to the croissants and pretzels. All the construction going on in the Sendlinger Tor Platz but it gives me a reason to go back and see it finished next time.

I really enjoyed the place. The room was not big, but it had enough space for my needs. It was very well-located and super clean. They have a tea and coffee station at the reception for you to use, and complimentary water in the room as well. The staff was so kind. I had a cough allergy attack while I was burning some time in the common area after checkout, and the guy at the reception offered me a bottle of water to calm down my throat.

In the room I stayed you could hear a bit of noise from the other rooms. Not at the point that it annoys, but if you happen to have noisy neighbors I think it could be a problem.

The receptionists were helpful and the room with a television was a great place to relax after work, THe room was fine and it was cleaned every day. I could get a coffee whenever I wanted and there are food places all around.

The laundry is in another building and uses an app and you can't pay directly. I didn't feel in the mood to add another app to do my laundry so I went to a laundry on Bayerstrasse.

Wonderful location right next to Sendlinger Tor! This is a very walkable location, with quick access to public transportation, if you are not familiar with Munich. The staff was very kind! The guy at the front desk offered to help with my absurd amount of luggage every time. There was also a nice elevator, luckily. They have free espresso/coffee 24/7 and pretzels/croissants available in the morning for free. The room was nice and clean. I would absolutely stay again.

spotless clean size of the my room was top + large bathroom many lights + plug-ins very good WLAN free (very good) coffee in the morning excellent location (2 minutes from Sendlinger Tor- underground, walking distance to all major spots in the city (Marienplatz, Hofgarten, Englischer Garten, Universities, Kunsthalle, Pinakotheken ... ) -- hotel is in a quiet, small street (one should look at the map carefully, there is much construction work going on in the underground Sendlinger Tor and one might not fined the right exit)

the hotel already has "superior rooms" with air condition (and all rooms will have one soon) I stayed in a room without air condition for a really great prize (and would do exactly this again ), temperatures were 32 degrees Celsius in Munich (very unusual) , but it was still okay with the windows open during nights + the hotel provides huge fans (which I did not use) Not that I did not like it: But one should be aware that there is no service in the hotel from around 9.00 pm on (security doors, measures are excellent)

Location was outstanding. They did not serve a full breakfast, which was fine and we knew beforehand, but we appreciated the delicious pretzels and croissants they put out in the morning. The coffee machine was nice too. It was very easy to check in. The room was very nice with great water pressure. We stayed in two different places while in Munich, next time we will only stay here. This used to be the Hotel Mueller; now, with the new management, things are very good. The rooms are the same: a bit dated in the furniture and fixings, but very clean and with everything you need: a wardrobe, a desk, a fresh bathroom, even a luggage rack (I stayed in the smallest single they have). Reception is manned only until 22, but that was not a problem, and you do get an emergency number in case of trouble. My room was very quiet and the bed comfortable. I appreciated the free breakfast "on the go": they offer tea/coffee and a pastry (croissant or similar) in the reception in the morning. The location is very good: right on Sedlinger Tor, a 15/20 min nice walk to the center, or plenty of public transportation.

Only one electrical socket in the room (that I found). There is no "real" breakfast possibility, but, as I said, they offer breakfast "on the go" which is very good to get out of the hotel with something in your stomach, and go to one of the many restaurants around.

The room is very private and comfortable, very clean too. The location is also great, right next to a subway station with a lot of lines going through. Breakfast is also great to have, croissants were freshly baked.

I asked for an extension of 1 night. They told me it was ok and I could go pay the next day, they even have me a new card. They were charging me more, but I assume it's fie to the sort notice. When I go the next day in the morning, they told me I need to change in a rush because there is another customer, and even though they carge me the same. A bit disorganized, I would say.

The location is perfect, central, and close to everything. It's very clean and the staff are friendly and do everything in their power to make the guests feel welcome.

They need air conditioning. I happened to travel during some colder days in the summer and there was no need for AC, the fan was more than enough, but I can't imagine hot days without air conditioning.
