The rooms are modern, clean and have air conditioning units (very useful in summer). Free still and sparkling water from reception was also a nice touch.

The breakfast is overpriced for what you get. If you stay here, there are plenty of nice cafes within walking distance that offer much better food and coffee at a similar price point. Having to pay €3 to store luggage for a few hours after check-out is also not great given we paid good money to stay at the hotel. Most hotels of this calibre provide this service for free.

Room service only upon request which is great, clean premises, inner backyard. The interior matches the cocoon-butterfly theme in a great way. The bar/restaurant at the lobby is fancy and nice. The rooms are clean, the furniture is comfortable. Overall, very pretty. The shower gel is awesome.

The doors between the hallways are extremely heavy and make very loud noises when being unlocked. The bathroom inside the room I stayed in was not separated (there were no walls) which is shown in the photos provided by the accommodation. It eventually was found to be rather uncomfortable. However the toilet is separated, but the door to the toilet is so heavy that it can kill you (especially at night). It also makes loud noises when being (un)locked.

We really liked everything. Nice details on furniture. The bed was comfortable. The staff explained everything from the beginning (for example how the cleaning service works etc).Rooms were soundproofed. The location was great, near the old town, tram and U-bahn.

Nothing. Please keep in mind that most rooms, as other people stated before, are separated by a curtain from the shower cabin and the wash basin (toilet is in separated cabin). The curtains are thick and when you close them, there is privacy, but if you are not comfortable enough with the person you are staying with, then this could be a problem.

Great little hotel with a beautiful design. Fantastic location. Superb breakfast, some vegan options too (veggies, pastry), filtered coffee and oat milk option. Very pleasant staff. :-)

Parking could be improved. We arrived on a Friday evening and were told that there were no more parking spots. Which was unpleasant since I booked the hotel specifically because they provide parking. Thankfully it got solved the next day... The last thing that could be improved – the door leading to the toilet in the room are too heavy and since there isn't much space to move around I almost got stuck in there. :-D I can't imagine a kid opening the door, honestly too heavy.

This is a very comfortable and cosy hotel with a nice ambiance, which is well located for transport access around Munich as it is less than 10 minutes walk from Sendlinger Tor U-Bahn. The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom facilities pretty clean. The staff on the desk were friendly, efficient and helpful. There is parking on site, which costs extra but the parking facilities seemed secure and the system worked well. Even though our room faced the main street we did not have any problems with noise from traffic, so it is well insulated for sound. Wi-fi was generally good. Would definitely recommend for travellers (singles/couples) looking for a city break in Munich.

Although the room we stayed in had all of the facilities, it was a little too compact. Perhaps better suited for a single traveller than a couple. Looking at the building layout, however, this may have been due to its position with respect to the stairwell, and other rooms appeared better proportioned in this regard. Also, the hotel reception is actually found within the Cocoon Pinsa and Bar on the ground floor. This was not a major inconvenience but it could benefit from clearer signage to point the guests to where they need to go when they check-in.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was brilliant just as billed. A garden boutique hotel with good food and drink. It was 32-34 C when we stayed so the garden was particularly welcome. The location for city tourism was perfect being only 10 minutes from Marienplatz.

The only thing missing was a small refrigerator for bottled water. That would be a welcome addition. We would return but not bring a car next time (we did so as we visited Austria and Morth Bavaria too) but securing one of the 15 parking spaces was stressful.

The light bird noises as you walked through the building. The swinging chair in the room. It was just a nice little room for what you paid for - it's simple so don't expect anything more. The shower pressure was good and the free sparkling/still water was awesome. About a 20 minute walk into the centre and 5 mins from the train station. We really enjoyed our stay. If you're staying with friends/family, the shower is in the middle of the room and you have a curtain but it may not be as private as people would have liked it.

We loved everything about this hotel. The service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Although there’s a bar downstairs, it’s very quiet in the rooms and we didn’t hear a thing at night. The rooms were a great size and were super clean and the beds were comfortable. I read a few reviews about bathrooms and was a bit worried about the size but honestly, they were perfectly fine. The toilet, sink and shower are all separate however this wasn’t even an issue. There is a curtain that separates the bathroom area from the bed area so it’s really very private. The location is also perfect! It’s within walking distance to a lot of attractions and venues and the train was very close as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and modern hotel located walking distance from the city center- you can get there in a 15 min walk. It's also only 18 min away by foot from the central train station, which for us was very convenient. We specially liked the modern design of the room and the bed, which was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is probably the highlight of the hotel, it has a huge selection including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, yogurt, different kind of breads, croissants... and they keep bringing more once something is finished. The personal is also very nice and they helped us with everything we needed.

Only thing to have in mind is that it has an open bathroom (toilet is separated, but shower and sink are basically there when you walk into the room). We didn't mind and we actually liked it, but if you are travelling with friends maybe it's not ideal. Also, the room doesn't have a fridge nor a kettle, but if you need anything the personal of the hotel will provide it for you.

The hotel is very well designed, with a lovely bar area -plenty of places to chill out and relax. The rooms have been carefully thought out and are very comfortable and clean - nice seating areas, good lighting, lovely bathroom etc. We didn't try the hotel breakfast but found nice bakeries nearby with good coffee and pastries.

It would have been great to have a kettle or coffee maker in the room. Coffee from the bar was quite weak & expensive. We found the pillows a little uncomfortable and unfortunately the WiFi was weak in our room which also meant Netflix didn't work on the TV.
