B&B Hotel Nürnberg-City

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, just a short walk from the metro station “Opernhaus” which is on the same line as the main train station and the airport. The hotel is a short walk away from many restaurants, shops, and the cultural opernhaus. Good location for a night out. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a good-sized bathroom. Hand soap, body and hair wash were provided along with towels and a few cups. There was also a flat-screen TV and a small desk with two seats, which was handy for working on my laptop. The room had good soundproofing, so I didn’t hear any noise from the street or neighboring rooms. I forgot to mention that the bathroom in my room was spacious and had good lighting, as well as plenty of towels and toiletries. It was always kept clean and tidy by the housekeeping staff. Another convenient feature of the hotel was the vending machines on the ground floor. They had a good selection of snacks and drinks at reasonable prices, which was handy as I didn’t feel like going out to buy something. The customer service at the hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests I had. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out, and gave me some useful tips for exploring the city.

One thing that I should note is that the room I stayed in didn’t have a locker or safe for storing valuables. While this didn’t pose a major problem for me during my stay, it may be a concern for some travelers who are carrying expensive items or sensitive documents. That being said, I found the hotel to be generally safe and secure, with code access required to enter the building and the guest rooms. Additionally, the front desk staff were always available to assist.

Great location, within walking distance of the old town. New furniture, comfortable mattress and pillows, nice bathroom. Breakfasts are paid separately, quite good for the price of 10 euros per person. The hotel is located right next to the metro station Opernhaus, very convenient to get from the airport or train station.

The standart double-room is quite small - if there are two guests, it can be cramped. There is no kettle in the room. The biggest problem is the poor soundproofing and loudly slamming front doors of neighboring rooms. My room faced the street, it was noisy from cars.

The hotel has a warm atmosphere and good location. It is near the metro and the tourist destinations. We had a nice view from our room. It was only five minutes walk to the central places. It was also clean and quiet. The staff was helpful and there are vending machines which offers you hot&cold drinks, amaçla and even soup.

There weren’t any guest slippers although i thought there would be. It was hard to be in boots all the time. I didn’t know about this so I haven’t brought any. And maybe a small topthpaste would be helpful.

Elevator super slow. We often used stairs. The towels really stank as if hadnt been washed for few days. The cleaning lady kept coming in while we were sleeping in. Had do no disturb sign and still had room made up. Didnt need to for just one night stay. Had to pay for parking and wasnt notified that. And couldnt reserve for parking. I specifically looked for accommodation with parking near old city. So i was surprised.

Since I travel alone and by train or bus, I need a hotel near a train station. This hotel was not as close as I usually select but the price was right. I did not pay for the breakfast but the breakfast room looked large and lovely. The city has a day pass that allows you to take buses and Metro trains - this is great!

There was nothing to dislike. It is across the street from the Old Town. It is a very basic hotel with no frills but comfortable. This is all that I need and close to shopping, the train station and the buses.

We had a great stay. The location is great as it is in the centre of the city. The main railway station or innenstadt are only a few minutes walk. We were in constant contact as our plans changed in the last minute, and we were accommodated accordingly. The check-in was smooth as we got our check-in details on the day of arrival before check-in time. The rooms were very clean and all the necessary stuff like clean towels were already there in the room. The view of the old Nuremberg town from the hotel was great. Would love to stay in B&B Hotel again during my next trip, highly recommended!!

Great location and easy walk to the station. Was easy to walk into the old city and see all the main sites. The hotel was lovely and clean and had what you expect for the price. The room was the standard small size you get in Europe and was warm, clean and comfortable. I’d very happily stay in this hotel and others in the B&B chain.

No tissues in the bathroom and sometimes the wait for the one lift was a little slow but the stairs worked for going down easily!

Hotel is located very close to the main trainstation and the Old Town. Furthermore it is very close to the subway, so you don't need to worry about getting to anywhere by public transport. Line U2 drives you directly from airport to the hotel. I was traveling across the city almost all days, so I used the room mostly to take a shower and sleep. I didn't use any additional services (except the breakfasts, which were really tasty), but will surely stay in this Hotel again in the future.

Lack of english tv channels - only German available.

This hotel is located in an exceptionally convenient location - just a few steps from a subway station (and one stop from that to the Main Station). The room is also clean, well-maintained, and equipped with a running air conditioner (a still rarity in Europe). The ease in using passwords instead of door keys, and thus an absence of need for check-out procedure is also a big advantage of this hotel.

I understand that this is a budget hotel so the equipment might not really be of the very best quality or modernity, but at least a small fridge (minibar) would be much appreciated.

The Hotel is very modern and up to date. The guests not used room card in the Hotel, because there is push button entry. The room was big, therefore there was enough place for three persons. The bathroom was modern and good, mainly the shower bath. Wi-Fi was excellent. The Hotel has own parking lot; the parking is difficult on the street. The hotel staff was very helpfully. The Hotel is very close the city centre and Metro station.

The room was very noisy, because the hotel is next to a busy road. The room view was not to good. The room could have been cleaner, because the corners were not vacuumed. The pillows were very small.
