Access to hotel by small lift or stairs a bit challenging. Maybe a clear sign in English about how to get in would be helpful. Decor a bit basic.

Room has everything needed, very comfortable and efficiently organised. Location is great, with several restaurants nearby, easy access to museums and other sights, walking distance from bus and train station. Reception was very helpful, we arrived before check-in time and were allowed to leave our luggage in the room immediately, and then after check-out could leave the bags for half a day as well. Very nice view from the window, too!

Wifi did not connect very well from the room (it is the first in the corridor, so maybe too far from the router). As the windows face the street, there was some noise during the night. Nothing terrible though.

This was a fantastic place. The location was perfect! The old buildings were gorgeous. Everything was at our doorstep. There is so much to see just by walking around. The receptionist was helpful and gave us a map of the places to see. Even though we arrived early, the receptions let us into our room. We arrived by train and left by train. It's a 5 minute walk to the main station if you exit/enter from the main entrance. The breakfast was great value with so many options. Unfortunately we were only here for 1 night as we were heading out to Vienna the next day. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location, excellent service, large and clean room, varied and tasty breakfast.

The hotel description did not mention air conditioning - its absence was noticeable on hot days. I made the mistake of not reporting the lack of ventilation in the bathroom to the staff because I assumed the white fixture on the ceiling was a broken lamp. It was actually a chimney fan that didn't work. I saw an identical device in the cafe's toilet, but it was after I had checked out of the hotel.

The customer service was exceptional, we arrived from the airport in the late afternoon/early evening. The reception becomes unstaffed after 2000 and they’d rang me and left a voicemail at 1924 to let me know the check in procedure and to warn me they’d be unstaffed after 2000. I missed this but they have telephone numbers and instructions on the doorway anyway. I was very impressed with this, they did everything they could. check in procedure was quick and easy. The hotel is conveniently located to nearby beer halls and restaurants, I can’t recommend this place enough! Thanks for our stay guys, you made our Nuremberg stop by thoroughly enjoyable!

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. They were so friendly. The location is in the old town & is literally less than a 5 minute walk from the main train station. There are lots of food options within a 1 to 2 minute walk from the hotel. The room was big & clean. The bathroom was a good size as well. A small shower but not the smallest shower we had on our trip around Europe. It's an older hotel but we can not rate this hotel high enough. The location & especially the staff make this one of the best that we stayed at in Europe. Value for money was great & the breakfast was exceptional, especially for the price. The lady doing the breakfast was so nice. Please be aware that you may have to carry your luggage up the final flight of stairs as the lift doesn't go up that high. The man at reception offered to help so it was all good. We really, really loved Nuremberg & wished that we had another 2-3 days there as we ran out of time. It is a very walkable city & the public transport is so good as well. We will be back to this beautiful city & we will stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect to get to everything we wanted to see and convienently close to the station for the early train we had to catch. Breakfast was very plentiful and good. The beds were very comfy and the fan was nice to keep the temperature cool. The room was clean, very quiet and the lift worked perfectly. The vending machine store across the way was a fun way to clean out our euros before heading home!

The shower was incredibly small, and I even though I booked a double room with a double bed, I had one pillow and one single person duvet a available. I arrived late so there was no reception when I went to bed or early when I left, so I found another pillow in the closet (not ‘ready’ to use) and had to put two together to make half of one, as they’re both super thin. I was there for work so didn’t need much, hence, great value for money, but they could really use an upgrade in these areas.

The hotel is very conveniently located for guests arriving by train (main station is close by) and for exploring the Altstadt (historic old town) where most of Nuremberg's visitor attractions are situated. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The breakfast cost 11 Euros and provided a good variety of cold food and eggs with sausages. Good value.

The hotel did not have a lounge or bar, or provide hot drinks in the room.

Location is a 5 minute walk to the main train station, near many shops and restaurants. Just a short walk to the Lorenz Church and about 10-15 minute walk to the Christmamarkt site. The rooms are slightly larger than expected with a good sized restroom. The staff was knowledgeable on places to eat and laundry locations.

The iron had to used in a common area out in the open, not in your room. The location is four flights of stairs up, on the 3rd floor above the ground floor. The elevators went out one morning. There is extensive construction out on the street in front. The only door put was blocked for 45 minutes while cobblestones were laid.
