This is a cool hotel right near the Pegnitz with a great location, offering easy access to the Altstadt north of the river, and steps away from the trendy Karolinenstrasse. This hotel offers contactless check in, of which I am generally not a big fan, but it was fairly easy to do because of good communication by the hotel. Also, checkout doesn't get any easier than this, because all I had to do is drop my keycard into the box on the way out. Arrival by car was not difficult. The full-service Adler Parking Parage recommended by the hotel in the communication leading up to my arrival was only about a block away, although I only parked there for about an hour before returning the rental car. In the room, the bed was very large and comfortable. I did have a problem with the refrigerator not working when I checked in, but the staff were responsive and helpful. I did need to wait for the next day for the fridge to get replaced, because it was a Sunday when I checked in. The technician was friendly and gave me an upgrade to the paid Wi-Fi for free and got me a replacement fridge which worked fine. The room has a modern design and a small working area as a kind of alcove off the sleeping area, which might be nice for couples when one wants to sleep and the other work. I was often in my room with the do-not-disturb sign out when housekeeping came around, but they were concerned for me and left me a bag of fresh towels and more coffee for the machine. I only had breakfast in the restaurant, but it looked like a place with good food. When you purchase breakfast included with your room, it is given in the hotel restaurant as if you were coming in off the street to eat there... not a buffet. Think mainly something like a gourmet eggs Benedict with avocado and pulled pork, but you will not get AYCE eggs and sausage with bottomless coffee.

The air conditioning was a bit underpowered, but this is pretty standard in most German hotels. Fortunately, the windows were situated pretty well for a cross-breeze and the weather cooperated a bit. There is no elevator, and the first floor is occupied by hotel offices. Be prepared to walk up at least two flights of stairs. One drawback is the seats offered in the rooms are simply padded cubes with no back rest. This can be uncomfortable if one wants to kick back and watch television. The technician who fixed my fridge did offer to get me a better chair.

The room was modern & furnished smartly. The mini fridge & espresso machine, iron & board, body wash/shampoo, drinking glasses & bottle of water were way beyond our expectations! The location was the cherry on the top...right in old town among history, restaurants & shopping...grocers close as well for room time! Christin was amazing with referrals, directions & baggage drop off - he made the visit even more special...will stay here for our next visit...

Did not try the attached restaurant-menu was a bit limited, but they stayed busy so guessing food was good...

The (top floor) room had an excellent view of the castle. The shower was wonderful and the bathroom was very clean. It was great to be able to do a self-check-in. While there was no employee to greet the customer the staff was close at hand to handle any issues. They were also very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, to the point that one might even say it was gourmet! I would highly recommend their Chai tea latte.

Unfortunately, being on a whirlwind trip that we are, it was sad to find out there was no elevator and we had to walk our very heavy luggage up four flights of stairs.

The room was excellent and comfortable. We had a Lavazza coffee-machine and the capsules were supplied for free, daily. Most welcoming was that the room was cooled to the right temperature before our arrival. The view from the balcony is one of the best in Nuremberg. The restaurant on site is also good.

Lack of a lift is a bit of a pain especially if you have luggage and your room is on the third floor. Parking in nearby Adler Parkhaus costs €30 a day. Perhaps a discount for customers spending overnight in the city could be arranged.

It's ideal for short trips to Nurnberg. Great location- it's located on the pedestarian street. Altough it's digital/self-checkin type of hotel, hotel staff was very helpful during checkin & checkout. Compared to room size, bathroom has fair-enough space.

- Room size was very small. - Ladder was very challenging since our room was on the 4th floor. :) - No parking available But to be fair, all wasn't suprising that already mentioned in the reservation page. So you may consider those in advance before you make your booking.

A really unique location in the heart of the historical center in Nurnberg. All the major spots were within convenient walking distance. This apartment had two spacious sleeping chambers (one facing the riverside and the other turned towards a small park behind the building) and a very handy kitchen equipped with the usual stuff (so it wouldn't be a problem to prepare your own breakfast or dinner if needed). Also, the bathroom was nice and clean. When coming by car, it can be left in a multi-story public car park nearby (let's say 150 meters away). The check-in process was carried out through the screen of a large tablet in the entrance hall, which was quite fun anyway.

Perhaps a single stain on the generally very good impression from this stay was the breakfast. It was quite costly and one had to choose a variant from the menu. Instead of that, I would prefer a buffet-like breakfast where you can pick exactly what you want. In addition, I would expect the breakfast to be more diverse and rich for such a price. But you can always buy the breakfast stuff in a convenience store, put it into the fridge and use the kitchen in the morning to make everything in your way. It is probably a better option than throwing away some 15 EUR downstairs in a restaurant.

If you could rate higher than 10, it would be. The location is brilliant, the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. When we saw the bar was open downstairs until midnight we were concerned for the noise but you couldn’t hear any of the outside noise. We had breakfast in the restaurant and this was great, the choice, the service and the food was excellent. Check in was easy. Would highly recommend and would return if in the area again.

nothing to not like.

The location was great. The room very modern, comfortable and extremely clean. The keyless entry worked very well. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was really good (just the cappuccino needs to be improved....way too much milk for a cappuccino!)

The on-line check-in process could be made easier....received several notification for starting the process even few days in advance but in reality the check-in can be completed only on the day of arrival. I could have saved some time! The hotel is very close a busy road. Despite our room was on the fourth floor and generally acoustically insulated, you could hear some noise at late night (better to have ear plugs). No lift available (we knew and it was not a problem for us, but it would not be for everyone).

The location was one of the reasons I booked this hotel and it did not disappoint. Close to amenities and public transport, you will find everything you could possibly need within walking distance. The room design is very tasteful, AC helps on the hot summer days. Our room was on the 4th floor without a lift, but since Nürnberg is quite hilly anyways, that wasn't an issue. I appreciated the contactless check-in/check-out solution and the fact that your smartphone becomes your room key. Not sure what happens when you run out of battery though. ;-)

To find something negative, I really have to nitpick. We stayed at the hotel on a Saturday. If one is sensitive to noise, this might become an issue since the music from the restaurant downstairs was audible (even distinguishable by song) until way after midnight with all windows closed. Not much to do about that, then reducing the volume downstairs by about 20%.

The location was great! The room was larger than expected and quite comfortable...and quiet considering the night life going on outside! I will definitely stay here again when I come back!

I gotta admit, I really do prefer a hotel with a front desk and staff that I can ask questions. I also did not noticed that there were no elevators, and I of course packed a very heavy suitcase which nearly killed me!
