The hotel is clean but not very modern, which is fine if you don't care about fancy designs and super nice furniture. There is a metro station 5 minutes away, which was a big plus. It is located in a very posh neighborhood, and it feels very safe even at night. There are some nice restaurants in walking distance (5-10 minutes). There is a supermarket at 15 minutes distance by foot. You can reach the city center by foot in 30 minutes if you don't want to use public transportation. The breakfast was very diverse and tasty. They have no AC in the rooms, which in summer is a major minus.

The hotel could use some renovation, but i didn't find any major issues with my room. The fridge was broken. However, we didn't let the stuff know about it while staying with them. They said they could have replaced it for us, but we didn't really need it. There is no AC.

Very large room, warm, with carpeted floors. Although the furniture is a bit old in terms of style, it is clean and nothing is broken. The bathroom is also clean, decent size, with a large sink and mirror. The atmosphere overall is cozy and gives you a warmth, familiar feeling. The staff is definitely 10*, we really enjoyed talking at the reception, as we were greeted with a big smile and a cup of Glühwein to warm up. The location is also only a 5 minutes walk away from the fortress, in a quite zone. Also, the pricing is the best you can find around this location. We would return here without hesitation.

It would be great to have some instant coffee in the room, for the lazy mornings :)

Location was behind the castle, it was easy to go down the hill to square of the Christkindlesmarkt and then you can just take a S-bahn to go back so that way if you have a problem to go uphill, the nearest station is only 100 meters away from the hotel.

My bed was like sleeping on a trampoline or something, it bounced uncomfortably when I rolled over. This hotel haven’t done any updates so there are no outlets except for the bedside light near the bed. If you are obsessed with a phone which is running out of a battery, you wouldn’t like this hotel,or better to bring your own extension code😂

The staff is absolutely lovely, so kind, so helpful, so patient and resourceful...it's always the staff that makes or ruins a place for me, I can turn an eye away for a lot of problems but not for staff and Azimut has one of the best staff I've seen...not only the welcome desk / reception staff but also floor and restaurant people are quite nice too. Aside from that, the room is HUGE and nice and clean and spacious and cool (temperature-wise) which is very important for me having a large dog. Open buffet breakfast is amazing lots of options, eggs, sausages, breads, sweets, coffee, tea, juices, fruits, pastry and more.... Just only a bit pricy 16 euros, I think it could be 12 euros maybe but yeah still great. The underground parking is nice to have too, but again 14 euros is bit pricy, could be 10 maybe but yeah still good. (Note: Coming from UK with a large vehicle driving seat on the right, drive-way being very tight and curved and all the buttons being on the left side, driving out the car park became a bit of an issue for me but again the staff helped me out w that - insert heart emoji here - ) Yeah location is fantastic too.

Nothing, I liked it so much I came back to stay another week actually, I'm writing this from the hotel :)

Very spacious room with bathroom. Whilst the furniture may be slightly dated, it was all very practical and sturdy and very clean. Plenty of hanging space and drawers etc for clothes. Coffee machine and kettle, so lots of options. Friendly staff at reception and a welcome Gluhwein was a nice touch as we visited during the Christmas market season. Very close walk (approx 10 mins) to the old town via the old walled city gate. Felt very safe in the area. Also quite a few cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within a 5 minute walk so very practical.

For me, the hotel was very good, and I think it is a good option if you want to visit Nuremberg for a few days. It is located very close to the old castle - in 6-7 minutes you are on the way to the old center, and in 10-12 minutes you are there by foot. Also, you are 4-5 minutes walk from the metro station. I took the breakfast one day, it was pretty ok - nothing very special, but nothing wrong. The ladies at the reception were kind and smiling.

The rooms need a little refurbishment, as the furniture is old. Also, the hotel has a strange architecture, but this is not an issue (just funny).

The staff of this hotel were incredibly kind and professional. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a warm smile and special attention to our needs. Every member of the team went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel rooms were truly a pleasant surprise. Every detail, from the comfortable furniture to the modern amenities, was carefully thought out to provide us with an unforgettable experience. The services offered were also remarkable. The rich and delicious breakfast prepared us for a day of exploration in the city, and the staff was always available to provide advice and recommendations about the best places to visit. In conclusion, this accommodation location in the middle of the city, close to its center and tourist attractions, was truly beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to those who want to discover the beauty and charm of a historic city in an elegant and comfortable setting.

Very nice and cozy old-school hotel with live friendly staff at the reception :) Rooms are spacious and warm, equipped by old wood beautiful furniture, work desk, night curtains, comfy bad. Kettle and tea in my room was a nice surprise. Room has a small corridor with an additional door, which allows you not to hear other guests returning late. Located in 5 mins from amazing castle Keiserburg and old town.

It would be great to have one more small and soft pillow.

From a money perspective, everything that the hotel offers is fair. The rooms are very spacious, but everything is old. We didn’t had breakfast, so cannot comment anything about it. The parking was 8 EUR/ night. The car was safe, in the hotel’s underground parking. You can reach the city center in aprox 20 minutes and you also have a bio supermarket right next to the hotel in case you want a beer or a snack in room.

We had an unpleasent smell coming from the bathroom. During the check out, the blonde mid-age lady was rude to us, as she didn’t handed the needed coin so we can get out of the parking, as you will need a coin in order to be able to get out.

This was my favorite room of our trip (out of 4 locations). The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a private balcony. The wifi was easy to connect to. The breakfast was quite lovely. The staff was hands down the nicest of our whole trip! I booked this hotel for it's proximity to transit and sites and it did not disappoint. Only a couple of blocks from the subway and literally right around the corner from a Medieval castle. It is also next a "Bio", which is like a mini mini whole foods. All this and very little outside noise.

I had to think for a while to come up with even one thing! This hotel didn't seem to have any "off-hour" food choices. It didn't really matter w the Bio being right next door but a vending machine or kiosk to purchase snacks would have completed this lovely experience. The electric shorted out our first morning and only a couple of outlets worked. The hotel acted quickly and we came back to replaced lamps and all outlets working.
