Hotel is modern, and ideally located close to the North bank of the Danube

The hotel has been highly rated for very good breakfasts. However, breakfast is between 6.00 and 10.00 and when we came for breakfast at 9.00, the hot food: scrambled and fried eggs, sausges and (we think) bacon, were gone or almost all gone, and the staff responsible for breakfast apparently did not believe in replenishing these. All that was left was a small amount of scrambled egg and a sausage. We were there for 45 minutes, i.e. till almost the breakfast closing time at 10.00, but hot food items were not replaced. Breakfast might be thought relatively minor, but on a journey of 14 hours from Cracow to the Bodensee, it is important.

Wonderful friendly and helpful reception and staff . Our room 109 was large , bright with excellent natural lighting and night time lighting . Bathroom very nice , roomy and had great shower . Up a small hill off the Danube but close to bike trail and City Center . Very good bike storage in underground garage . Fan in room if needed for warmer days , No on-site restaurant but many within 10 -12 minute walk . Breakfast was also very good with multiple hot and cold food choices .

Beautiful quaint little hotel in a beautiful city within easy walking distance of the historic old town and lots of restaurants and sights. Comfortable room and bed. On third floor but with elevator this was no problem.

No a/c. I stayed at the beginning of August and it was HOT! No fan, so I had to sleep in underwear and no cover, but still sweated like crazy (even when I opened the window for some air flow)! The internet did not work in my room (I was told there was a problem and it would be fixed after my stay-I was staying on a Sunday, and no one works on Sundays here). I had to leave my room and go into the lobby to access internet and try to figure out what I needed to do the next morning (I had car issues and needed to find a good mechanic in an unfamiliar town).

The hotel is on north from the rivers and the downtown, not a typical downtown hotel, but it is close walking distance from the downtown and the harbour (where you can find the sightseeing buses and the ships for cruising. Breakfast is ample and rich, staff is helpful. No opportunity of having dinner. Parking is available below the building, for 7,00 Euro per day.

Glutenfree breakfast was our wish for one member of our family, the confirmed it, but staff does not really what it is. The kitchen porter lady wanted to put the glutenfree bread into the toaster, but that is not workable. Parking places under the building are a bit narrow and the ramp, leading down, is steep-angled, so you have to be cautious.

Excellent location! Very near to centre of town. Brilliant and very kindly staff!!! They are speaking English very well and really helpful,!!! The breakfast is delicious and more than enough. The room is clean and facilities are full. Beds was really comfortable.They have a spa but we haven't had it. So, we would like to recommend for everyone who wants to spend some pleasant days anytime.

The price little bit high, but I think only for us

Breakfast was substantial and great. The room was fantastic, travelling with my eldest daughter so 2 big beds made us very comfortable. No meals are served here, one has to walk back into the town itself - not far (600m I think) but I was too tired to walk after a long day's drive. Would definitely stay here again.

I was surprised there were no evening meals here, but luckily we'd had a big lunch so we skipped dinner.

Most importantly the hotel staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance to the city center, easy access by car from the highway, our room was normal sized and tidy, we enjoyed the sauna after a long day and the next morning had a good breakfast.

It was strange that earplugs were prepared into the room, we had no noise problems. No more to say here, I am not a person of negativity, we got what we expected.

It was a great one-night stay! Late check-in worked like a charm; the night guard was very attentive. We made use of the hotel parking at basement level which was very convenient and at the extra cost of 7 EUR was all worth it for having direct access practically to the room. Breakfast was great, a lot of choices for me and my vegetarian partner plus we got a reserved table, for extra privacy, since we came in with our dog (I guess also convenient for other guests, fine by me).

There was nothing bad enough that I would say should down score the place. Few things I will point out though. The size of the room (standard double) could be better but was just enough for one night. The decor of the room is a bit dated, but hey if you’re going for retro, it's your place! Hairdryer dropped dead after literally 5 seconds of use.

Location: at walking distance from the city centre of Passau. The provided "sound blocking earbuds" are a poor omen.... however, with closed windows, and the fan running, the room was surprisinhly quiet, and not too hot. A good breakfast is served.

Room 211 has a bathtub with whirlpool, with no real options to take a shower. Nice, but a shower is absolutely preferred. With windows open, road noise will keep you awake.

Had a secure place for bicycles to be locked up, the breakfast is varied, delicious and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and the room was quite spacious, clean and comfortable.

Hotel is just over the bridge from Old Town and up a bit of a hill. Not really any great inconvenience though.
