I stayed here for 3 nights. The single room is small but very tidy and quiet. The bed and shower were comfortable and the coffee maker worked well. Every morning the number of coffee capsules was refilled. The self-registration system was convenient. You also need to checkout automatically before 11 am. I went to the checkout box at 11:01, so it didn't work. As it was cleaning time I found the cleaning lady and gave her the key, she said she would check me out.

As almost everywhere in Passau, the hotel did not have air conditioning. There is no fridge or minibar in the room. The pillow was filled with feathers, some people like it, but I'm allergic. So the cleaning lady gave me an extra blanket to put it on to avoid contact.

The self check-in went absolutely flawlessly and totally easy. This was the one thing I was worried about, but it worked out very nicely. Also, for a hotel that has no reception, it is amazing how clean everything was! Location is nicely between train station and historic city center - all at easy walking distance. There are so many awesome cafes in walking distance that a breakfast at the hotel was not only not needed but actually not wanted by us.

I am not a fan of self check-in. The lack of reception gives the hotel a cold and impersonal feel.

lovely staff, always so helpful. i have stayed here three times now. The hotel is in a great location to explore the old town, but is also central, so the railway station is about an 8 minute walk and the ‘zob’ (bus station) is about 1.5 mins away. super hot towel rail in twin rooms - great for drying things

The hotel is located right in the center of the city and offers a very simple self check-in process (but no breakfast). Overall the interior seems to be a bit outdated, but it’s always very clean and nevertheless comfortable. I can recommend especially for short stays or very late arrivals!

Since the hotel is located in the middle of the city center it is obviously a bit louder when the window is open.

Centrally located, did not require taxi fair to or from the airport. Plenty of chairs to sit on, bed surprisingly comfortable.

good location - town centre, shopping centre, river walks, bus and train stations are all close by.

i prefer hotels with a staffed reception , although staff are very helpful when available. The self check in process did work well however.
