Clean hotel, big rooms, very clear communication, good location. The rooms are quite well insulated, so the noise from outside doesn't bother you. We had harribo and ear plugs on the bedside table, which was a nice touch on their part. AC in the room is a big plus. The bathroom was clean, although small, but everything functioned properly. We had breakfast included, but we had to leave too early to take advantage of it.

We had a room where the AC was directly aimed at the head of the bed. During a heatwave (which is now happening frequently), when the temperature is 27-28 deg inside, you need it, but it's hard to use it due to its position as the cold air aims right at your heads, no matter how you try to position it. Perhaps a timer setting would help to make sure it shuts down without having to wake up to shut it off (it would be cost effective, too).

Excellent breakfast, cheap parking nearby, friendly staff, fully fledged 24h fitness for 4 EUR across the street, effective AC, great earplugs provided against noise, spacious room, very clean and in a great location.

The room doors are not very isolating against noise so you'll hear people talking outside the door or walking up the stairs. There are ear plugs provided against that which are actually surprisingly comfortable.

Excellent location (across the street from the train station, nearby a mall and some restaurants), very good service, clean rooms, very good breakfast.

The room we got was too small, and later we asked to move to a bigger one (which was their standard size), the bathroom was too crowded, the WiFi reception was quite bad.

Well, what can I say. This is just the loveliest little hotel. There is no parking right at the hotel but we parked at the main station just a few mins walk away and we were happy to leave all of our skis and kit in the car as it was very secure. We arrived very late after Reception had closed but the intercom system worked well and we spoke to the duty member of staff who explained how to get in - the keys were accessed very easily from the key safe. First thing we noticed was that all the info on the envelope was written in English for us which was so helpful and this was to be the theme of our stay, all the staff are really lovely and happy to work there. Bedroom was all good with a very comfy bed for a good nights sleep. Great ensuite bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice towels. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. The hotel staff had done an excellent job of decorating the hotel for Easter and I’m sure all the children enjoyed the little treats that were scattered around the dining room. Food was delicious and a lovely waitress prepared your hot drinks. Choice of food and drinks was extensive and all excellent quality. We will certainly stay again if we return to Cologne which incidentally was a beautiful city with some amazing bars. Staff gave us a free car park exit ticket on leaving and sweets for the journey, they were so kind.

Everything was just fine, we were very happy.

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was phenomenal. Location great for public transport. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The tea and coffee provided in the room were not replenished. I suspect that if I had mentioned it they would have put that right. I would definitely go there again if I returned to Troisdorf.

The location was great, handy for local bus stop and also the train station. Easy to walk 5 mins into the town centre for restaurants, shops and bars. Very friendly reception and staff. Very comfortable rooms Breakfast was very, very good great selection of food, coffee and tea.

The breakfast buffet was good and the Fruhstucksraum itself extremely clean, sunny and nice to sit in. I appreciated the fact it was not overly warm as many chain hotels make this mistake. My staff interactions were all good particularly with the waitress who tolerated my inability to operate the coffee machine whilst rather tired and distracted. My room was extremely good overall and the location near the railway station very convenient.

Unavoidably, there is a bit of noise at night but they provide earplugs. The shower wasn't brilliant but perfectly serviceable and better than the last place I stayed in the UK.

Wifi in the room didn't really work. I needed to use my phone data. Consumables such as tissues and tea etc did not get refilled during my stay.
