This is a beautiful property, with creatively designed rooms. we had two rooms, and each was decorated differently, and was very comfortable. location is very convenient.

The only reason I’m not rating this property higher is because it was very noisy. both of our rooms faced the street by the main hotel entrance; the noise carried on through most of the night and none of us slept well. I would suggest requesting a room that does not face the street.

Amazing hotel themed with great scientists from Wurzuburg, in a ancient palace of the town centre. As a family of 3 we really enjoyed our stay in the well appointed 2 rooms Roentgen suite which has direct access to a nice terrace on the roof. A star for the smiley and kind girl at the desk that welcomed us with 2 glasses of local wines. Nice breakfast. A convenient parking is available nearby but is ok to stop and drop off luggage in front of the hotel. Great!

In our room/suite on top floor A/C was not fitted in and the portable one a bit too noisy to use but ventilators were provided. 1 bathroom with bath tub to have a shower. Some stairs to climb with luggage for reaching the room. The view from our windows and terrace was not the best but still enjoyable. Lounge and breakfast room are not so wide.

The hotel is a renovated old building, and if you want to have an experience with fancy mirrors and beautiful wallpapers and feel like being in (comfortable) past - this is your place. The location is very central, and the breakfast was superb. There is a complimentary bottle of water in the room and toiletries are quite good.

The room was not airconditioned and thus VERY hot in summer. The parking is not a hotel parking but a public parking - it's fine, of course, but I would appreciate more detailed instructions on how to get there. Finally, the reception never answered my phone calls and messages from Booking.com, and the guy at the reception was an intern who was not fully informed about the hotel's infrastructure. He was nice and doing his best, but he should not have been left for the whole day without support.

My wife and I had an excellent 2 day stay at Hotel Würzburger Hof. We arrived at Wurzburg by train and were easily able to walk to the hotel with our luggage in 10-15 minutes. The service at the hotel was excellent. Our room was good size, the bed was large and comfortable, and the walk-in shower was roomy with great water pressure. The buffet breskfast was outstanding with many choices and very friendly staff. The location of the hotel was very good - close to the center of the Old Town and with a Tram stop close by. We recommend this hotel.

Hotel reception lady's support was excellent. Kind support of guidance for parking lot and great recommendation of dinner places. Also, breakfast is great, one of the best breakfast I have ever tasted.

If parking lot were right with the hotel, it should be perfect.

When we initially booked, I wanted a room with a bath-tub. Upon check-in, the room we were allocated did not look like the images on the property site and we asked if we could change - as this was not what we expected. The changed our room and we were allocated the room on the image - which was lovely. Very comfortable spacious room.

The lifts did not work - so dragging luggage up 2 flights of stairs not ideal. Check the room you booked carefully, not all of them look like the image shown. Our initial room was not as nice as the one allocated to us after we requested a change.

The hotel is in great location, walkable to the train station, the residence and the river. There are great transport links around the city that are accessible from outside reception. The hotel was clean, and beautifully presented, the welcome drink was a lovely touch. Breakfast was a great selection of food in a lovely dining room. Overall a lovely stay in the beautiful city of Wurzburg

A lovely hotel in a great location - a short walk from the train station, easy to get to tourist sites around the city, transportation at the front door if required and many food and retail options close by. Our room was a very good size with very comfortable beds and we also had a private terrace. Unfortunately due to the wet weather we weren't able to make use of the terrace but it would be lovely in the summer. Breakfast was also very good with a choice of breakfast items and the staff were very friendly.

We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. There was an issue one night with the Internet going down but this was fixed by the next day.

it’s uniqueness & family interest in people’s comfort and practicality of what was provided. Not modern and impersonal like a showroom. Breakfast was ample and varied. supplied gluten free bread on pre-request, pity it arrived very hot straight out of the micro wave. sSlight niggles we’re not May to get out of bed on, wooden floors, and how these made noise from above more obvious. Also the nicely redone shower room was fitted out for giants, couldn’t see even the top of my head in the mirror! very pleasant staff, would certainly return and recommend to any friends wishing to visit that region. well placed for railway station to visit nearby towns.
