After carefully considering many options and neighborhoods, we definitely made the right choice for our stay in Athens. At Aionion everything was perfect - the apartment is beautifully designed, with attention to details and a great comfortable bed. The building has an awesome rooftop with Acropolis view, just perfect to unwind after a long day. The location quiet and ultra central, in Thissio neighborhood is PERFECT! 1 minute away from a market, a pharmacy, a beautiful street with taverns and cafes, 2 minute from a park… and very close, walkable distances to almost all main attraction from the city center. Also, 2-3 minute from a train line that goes directly to Piraeus port, if you want to continue your greek adventure to the islands, like we did. Our host, Malina, was super nice and gave us great recommendations for taverns and everything else we needed. We enjoyed our time in Athens and we will hopefully come back soon!

Everything was top notch!

Location is brilliant: in the heart of city center and all attractions are short walks from hotel. Plaka and Monestraki are minutes away on foot. Very safe neighborhood with tons of great restaurants and shops. Service by Stella the hotel manager is genius. She is super fast, super supportive and super resourceful. She communicated with me even a week before I arrived through whats app and she kept actively connected throughout my stay. She organized everything for me and my family and she was always ready with super fast replies and actions. Very impressive service by Stella, she is a great asset. Beds were very comfy and room gets cleaned daily.

Maybe just the toilet is too small and shower has no door which gets the whole toilet messy immediately during showering but the shower itself is amazing with strong pressure of water and consistently warm water. Also probably need more room to store luggage/clothes if you are a family, but its more than enough for a party of 2. Other than that I had no dislikes at all.

Excellent location in the center of Athens steps away from the main walking path around the Acropolis and Agora. Easily accessible 15 minutes walking to Acropolis entrance and 5 minutes to Thiseio Metro station. Plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby, many with wonderful views of the Acropolis. Residences are apartment style, with kitchen and living space in all the rooms. Very clean and check in was easy and the hosts accommodated our check in time. Plenty of free parking on the street in the area. All guests have access to the building's rooftop which has tables/chairs and a fantastic view of the Acropolis!

This place is great! It is located very close to the center n has a Metro nearby, but the area is quiet. The street feels safe n I’ve let my teenage girls to walk by themselves even at evening time. There’s an elevator. The apartment was brand new and stylish. Everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Even the sofa bed. It also fits for two friends not just a couple, Service was great! The front desk lady, Stella was so kind and helpful with tips for the town etc…the staff really made an effort to answer and fulfill all our requests. This place is not cheap, but I highly recommend it

We liked everything

We only stayed for one night and for a short time because our flight was very delayed. The person in charge was very helpful in facilitating late check-in. The rooms were super clean and very well decorated. The apartment is in a good area, where you can walk to the main attractions.

We didn't meet anyone at checkout, but when we picked up our bags later, they charged us an additional fee never mentioned before (?!). At that time we didn't find the receptionist especially friendly. We also found it strange that we didn't find cutlery in the kitchenette. Finally, I would have preferred a thinner pad.

Room 22 on the 2nd floor. Location ia amazing. A little off the center and so very quiet, yet 1 minute from metro and plenty of food around. . Room was clean, bed was very comfy. Room seems new, without the wear and tear common in these places, well built and comfy. Staff was incredibly helpfull and full of attention and patience.

Room smelled a bit musty-smokey. I dont believe anyone smoked in the room. Probably smoked in the balcony with the doors open, together with a scent of probably new furniture. Shower has no closing or curtain so water splashes all over the bathroom. Keep in mind balcony is shared, seperated by a potted plant, but i didnt mind that.

The whole facility is brand new, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The kitchenette had all the most, if not all, basic kitchen facilities one may need. Melina texted us a few days before arrival and has been consistent with communication, from dropping off bags early, and from the time the room was ready. The apartment-hotel was also in a really nice, convenient neighborhood with lots of great restaurants, cafes, boutiques, a view of the Acropolis just up the block, and most importantly, the Thissio Metro stop which was about a 3 minute walk. This made it super convenient for us to take the Metro to Piraeus port with young kids.

The bathroom under the sink gathered a lot of water, from where, we don't know; the pipes were not broken, so maybe from the shower?

I am rarely surprised by accommodations, but this stay exceeded all my expectations. The design of the rooms is incredible, with high-end furnishings and carefully selected pieces and accessories. The lighting is perfect, and the bed feels like a cloud. The cleanliness was exceptional, truly spotless. I was warmly welcomed with my 5-month-old American Staffordshire Terrier. I was extremely impressed and delighted by how professionally Miss Stella received me. This was one of the most pleasant and professional welcomes I have ever experienced. The accommodation surpassed all my expectations. Whenever I am in Athens, I will choose this place. And the location is top-notch! Thank you so much for allowing Ruby and me to stay with you.

The concierge, Stella, was super helpful with arranging restaurant transfers and recommending local restaurants. The rooms were spacious and the view from the rooftop was unforgettable. The rooms were cleaned each day, regardless of when we left for the day. After 10 days in an Airbnb, I appreciated that.

The design of the bathrooms was a bit strange. There was no door or shower curtain on the shower, and so the whole bathroom would flood anytime someone took a shower. Luckly, the housekeepers provided plenty of towels.

The property is brand new, very clean and with more than adequate equipment provided to any traveler. Water heater is functioning and there are both air conditioning and heat for hot days and cool nights- very important for us. The location was a quiet neighborhood and short distance to amazing restaurants. It’s in the west side of Acropolis away from the busy and noisy streets in the north and east side. Front desk staff and housekeeping services were excellent.

It’s not about we didn’t like, but it’s just a comment. The elevator is extremely tiny, we’ve never seen an elevator this size. It’s difficult for international travelers with plenty of huge luggages, but 2 to 3 trips to go upstairs did it. We’re still grateful there’s an elevator.
