The staff were efficient, polite and friendly also most helpful. The rooms were well appointed, light and airy with a good ambience. The dining area quite beautifully appointed with great wait staff. Breakfast was delicious. Being able to access the Grande Bretagne restaurant, the sister hotel next door, was an added bonus. the roof terrace there is without compare for views over the Acropolis.

Almost nothing. It was a really great stay and we liked the rooms better than the Grande Bretagne, where we stayed last time in Athens. Mainly due the the lightness and airiness of the beautifully appointed rooms. Such a lovely ambience at the King George.

10 out of 10!!! A five-star hotel that deserves every single star. It was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future and I duly recommend it if you want to feel that you are in a palace and to be treated as a prince or princess for a few days.

Our extended family recently spent several wonderful days at the King George Athens. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the restaurants and the views were amazing, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Everyone from the reception desk to the concierge to the doormen to the restaurant staff was pleasant, helpful, and a delight to interact with.

It was an old but renovated hotel. You could still smell the atmosphere of the history, while you are having a comfortable stay. The hotel by itself on facilities is weak, however Hotel Grande Bratagne is the sister hotel and you could find many facilities in there as like the same hotel. The room I had stayed in was good condition and comfortable. The cleanliness was absolutely perfect maybe more than that. I couldnt count how many times did they check the room during the day. On top of the hotel there was a good restaurant which you can enjoy a very good moments. The view was very nice. They had also asissted on my late check out request, thank you so much. I could recommend that hotel for your future stays.

Breakfast does not has enough variety of choices. Nevertheless, when you request something they try to asisst you very smooth and quickly. My room was a kind of suite, unfortunately a room which named 'suite' , need to see a better view.

As the Bretagne Hotel is a sister hotel to King George and the latter's guests can use the first's facilities it makes no sense to prevent the guests to use the Bretagne swimming pool. Deceptive

We loved everything … staff were super helpful and fulfilled some special requests effortlessly. Christmas lunch was delicious & fun , not at all stuffy….. in fact all the food was delicious. Balcony over looking the square, the Palace and the Acropolis…. Exceptional! Watched the changing of the guard in comfort sipping champagne from the mini bar !!!!!

Would have liked a big Christmas Tree in the foyer which is a little cold and lacks atmosphere. Maybe a comfy area for tea ? But we loved popping next door for cocktails & enjoyed the huge tree there!

Perfect place for a stylish and joyful city weekend. The location is in the middle of everything: on the central square, next to President palace and National garden (we loved it). 20-min beautiful walk to Acropolis. Rooftop restaurant Tudor hall is great: stunning view and best sea bass in my life. Very helpful stuff!

It is noisy on this square: demonstrations, concerts etc. But by night it is all over usually. The view compensates for it fully.
