Stayed in a private double with a balcony. Loved the arty concept, the location - tons of good food and bars nearby, the cleanliness, it was good value for money, all the staff was really nice. Would stay again!

Right after the free cancellation window closes, we get an e-mail informing us that there is a construction site in front of the hostel and that the rooftop is closed due to maintenance. No mention of any of this on their website (or the app). Neither ended up being a big issue for us, but we thought the timing of the message did come across a bit shady, so management might want to rethink sharing information in a more transparent manner.

It was central

I didn’t like the breakfast at the rooftop…it’s not worth 9€

The internet speed was great (up to 30 download / 20 upload) - also the co work space was great (it’s 10€ extra per day for a central area or 12€ for a room you share with other people) - there are photo booths for calls and a kitchen. The roof top was also great!

It wasn’t clean. The women’s toilets on the 8th floor were disgusting. I stayed for 3 days and they weren’t cleaned once (not even toilet paper). Honestly a nightmare. I would also recommend they change the icons on the toilet doors (to make it clearer which ones are women’s and which ones are men’s cause I saw a lot of men going into the women’s by accident). Also the bedding smelled bad so the whole room smelled bad. Definitely not your money’s worth. The area is dodgy but I knew that when I booked it so it didn’t affect my rating! Just make sure you get a taxi if you return home late on your own!

I didn't stayed in Selina actually, as they changed my accommodation, so my rating is about the other hostel they put me in - Hawks hostel. The hostel is big, lots of rooms. The room I had had 2 balconies, so that was good. The bathroom is clean. The lockers are spacious. Nice view from the terrace upstairs. There is a bar and parties almost daily upstairs. That can also be a bit noisy.

The area is a little shady, in Omonia, so after it gets dark, it can be a little fishy. The beds have no curtains, usually I don't choose hostels like this, but as I said, it was not my first choice. Because it's a big hostel, it can be crowdy and noisy in the common areas. I wouldn't come back here as my first choice.

We stayed in a standard room with private bathroom and balcony. Our room was very good, had a view of Acropolis from balcony. Air conditioning was good and functional. During our stay of 5 days, our room was cleaned twice and bath towels were also changed twice. Location is close to metro station and many major attractions and restaurants. So it was very easy to travel. Reception staff was very nice, they arranged flat rate taxi to airport whenever it was required. They offered us complimentary drinks coupons on the day of our arrival, which can be presented at the roof top bar. Views from the roof top bar were excellent. They have in-house mini mart where you can buy water and other snacks, otherwise also there are small shops nearby to buy essential stuff like water and snacks. So overall it was good place to stay.

Elevator - First two days it was fine, but later it was very slow. We felt most of the times only one was functional, the other was not moving, always struck at some floor. Most of the waiting people felt frustrated and used stairs.

The beds are fabulous-both the mattress and the linens, cushy, crisp, clean! I slept so great after all the sightseeing! Housekeeping was cheerful and courteous. Everything was very clean. The front desk staff multitasked & were just wonderful. The rooftop restaurant’s view of the acropolis, especially at night offered a job dropping photographic experience. I had gyros at the restaurant that were the best I’ve ever tasted. There is a massive fully equipped kitchen available for use, and a little grab and go store at reception. I had a private room, but shared the community bathroom on my floor and had no trouble getting in for a shower when I wanted. I would happily stay at this hostel again and I recommend it to anyone.

This was a perfect safe location and the staff were amazing! It was winter so it was nice to come into a warm and cozy space after a day of touring in the rain and snow.

Sadly the roof trip deck was under construction so I wasn’t able to enjoy that space, but the kitchen, library, work spaces were so inviting !

The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first, but was just fine. The inside of the facility was great. This is a hostel, so was full of bustle with young people coming and going, as well as older people in my age group. The restaurant and bar on the ninth floor was spectacular with a 360° view of Athens, including the Acropolis. Breakfast was included— either eggs and toast with tomato and cucumber salad or yogurt and fruit and orange juice.

The bunkbeds had large storage boxes above the foot end of the bed which made getting in and out of the bunkbed and getting comfortable a little tricky.

- the location with walking distance of 10-15 mins to Monastiraki - very comfortable beds - great rooftop terrace

- very little light in the room, even with all light on it was still very dim - there was no mirror in the bathroom, there must have been one that came down and was never replaced - a window that only looked into a ventilation shaft. I would expect a little bit more for a double room for 100€ - we stayed on a Saturday night and the music from the rooftop terrace was very present in our room, even with windows closed. The party itself seemed nice and we knew what we signed up for, but without earplugs, you won’t be able to sleep. We didn’t use the kitchen or any other facilities, so I cannot rate anything else. The rooms with balcony looked great, next time I would stay there ;-)

Great place to stay if youre visiting Athens, I stayed in a private room and it was one of the largest private rooms ive had in a hostel. Bathroom/wet room was beautiful and really modern. The balcony was quite large for a room of its type. The rooftop bar has great views, is a really nice venue but is maybe 1 or 2 euros overpriced. Only one beer/lager available at the time I was there. Shops really close by for odd bits. The tours all pick up from near by too. Will stay again

Only thing I could say is the bar prices but theres plenty of others near by, its a good location
