A friend stayed at Tempi Hotel 20 years ago, so when we and that friend and another decided to meet up in Athens, we all booked a room here. We opted for the balcony room with view which looked out over a local square. The location is absolutely brilliant for walking to every site and restaurant you need. We spent a few more days here again towards the end of the trip & it’s terrific as a base. The rooms are super clean, the managers can organise taxis and anything you need, and the whole team makes you feel you are really welcome. We will be back again in 2 weeks before we all fly home and will be staying here again as it will be a lovely way to end our holiday.

We’ve now been in Greece for 4 weeks and stayed in various hotels. This hotel is by far great value for money and there was nothing we didn’t like.

Excellent location close to all the activities and most visited places. Wonderful staff always so kind and helpful. They know everything. There is a communal kitchen in the 1st floor. My husband and I have stayed repeatedly at Tempi and is our go-to logging while in athens.

I like everything. Guests should know that there is no elevator (only for luggage). We don’t mind.

The location is brilliant, in the middle of restaurants, shops, bars, and terraces. Amiable and welcoming staff, clean, good internet, comfortable bed and despite being in the center very quiet. It has everything you might need. Excellent value for money and despite traveling solo the area feels very safe.

The stairs are steep, there is a lift but it is only for your suitcase. Whatever you do? Don't take a taxi anywhere near the hotel. Take the metro or bus or walk. One taxi tried to insist the ride from the hotel to Pl Karaiskaki was 20 euros, insisting it was the regular price. I decided to walk and it was only 15 minutes. If you need to go to the airport walk to Syntagma Square and take the Airport bus.

A perfect place to stay in Athens! Right near a heap of shops and restaurants, and a short walk to the acropolis! The room had everything you would need, good air conditioning, comfy beds and nice staff!

I am very happy that I booked a room in this hotel. It was right in the middle of everything and my room was still fairly quiet. It was very simple furnished, but unexpectedly I got really good night sleep there. The kitchen was simple and good enough. I felt especially comfortable because all of the receptionists and the cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom on the fifth floor looks funny at first sight but the water pressure and temperature were perfect. The only thing that was a bit tricky is not to have a socket for charger or a little lamp next to the bed.

In the heart of Monastiraki, my room was old and small (I know what I was paying for, no surprises!) but with a stunning view on the Acropolis. It also had a sink and air conditioned, which was awesome as temperatures these days were very high. Very nice receptionists, all spoke English very well and made me feel welcomed.

5th floor without lift but at least there was a lift to the 4th for the luggage. 5th floor was very old and hot, totally different from the other floors. The bed a little bit unconfortable for my back.

Excellent location with lots of restaurants and shops around. Walking distance to all the main sites including the Archaeological museum. We were in a twin-bedded room which had Air conditioning which worked well and was very clean. Very affordable price.

The first few nights we were on the 4th floor but we asked and spent the next two nights on the 2nd floor. There is not an elevator but there is a small lift for luggage.

We booked this accommodation on either side of our time in the Greek islands! It is super easy to get to from the airport and port using the metro! It is right near the acropolis, and had heaps of nice bars and restaurants just outside! The rooms are clean and comfy! The staff are super friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again!
