The property was clean and modern and very comfortable. There was a TON of storage space for unpacking, which was great. The bed was comfortable, the staff was super friendly. We didn’t have breakfast there, but we did have a drink in the bar one afternoon. just lovely! Not sure how busy the hotel was, but we barely saw anyone there at all. Given that it’s right in the middle of everything, it was nice and quiet, as it was off the beaten path. The location was ideal for exploring all of the historical sights within Athens. We took a taxi from the airport, but walked everywhere else. It’s just steps from the square and dozens of restaurants and shops. Views of the Acropolis around every corner. (not from our room, but that’s okay!)

We liked everything! I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

The Editor was well located within easy walking distance of the two main squares, which is why I chose it. Entering from the street was like entering a safe and quiet haven after the mayhem of a busy city. The staff were incredibly kind and courteous, to the point that they celebrated my birthday with a lovely platter and card placed in my room. My room, while not large, had a fully functional and modern bathroom, great lighting and air conditioning and a lovely airy balcony with a little garden. The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious and served in a lovely room.

Hmmm, can't think of anything.

Good choice and they would also accomodate a request from you if required. Good for vegetertians too.The restaurent is on the roof. Yu also get a good far view of the acropolis from 2 places in the restaurant. All the restaurant team ie Adam ( the main chef), his support staff- Julio, Chris and Maria were also very pleasant and served with a smile. The food served was excellent. My family too enjoyed. I will stay here again when I come back to Athens. The lady at the reception- Thiana was very helpful and knowledgable. She had helpful answers for everything about the city, travel, shopping, etc when we asked her. I would like to thank all of them for making our holiday excellent.

While booking, seeing the pictures, I thought booking a junior suite would get me 2 rooms but it turned out to big room. maybe they shoud clarify this in the pictures shown.

The hotel is located 2 short blocks from Monastiraki square and within walking distance (5-30 minutes) to all the major attractions in central Athens. We walked to Lycabettus Hill, Parliament building, Acropolis and all the shopping and entertainment areas in the area. The hotel is newly renovated with large rooms, showers and bathrooms. The rooms are much larger than "usual" city hotels with plenty of closet space, safe and small refrigerator. The room also had an Nespresso coffee machine and it came with 2 capsules per day. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our stay was very nice. The hotel offers a breakfast for E15 which is a great deal. Although you can order a la carte, they have a "Greek Breakfast" which is as delicious as could be. It comes with eggs (any way) basket of breads, fresh fruit, yogurt/honey, cheese and juice. It was delicious and plentiful. We will definitely come back and take advantage of this great deal again.

The thing we loved most about this hotel is its location. It's located in a narrow one-way street which is quiet, away from the bustles. However, it's only a few minutes walk to Varvakios Market and the bustling Monastiraki Square where you can find tons of shops and restaurants. It is also a walking distance to Plaka area and to the Acropolis. Besides its location, the front desk staff were very helpful. Checking in and out was quick; everything went smoothly.

The room was a bit small in my opinion. We booked a Junior Suite, but it looked nothing like in the pictures. When asked the front desk, the response was that every Junior Suite here is different. The layout of the room was ok though. We loved the spacious table top in the room. The bath towels were quite old/thin.

Fantastic location a stones throw from Monastriki Square. Central sights very walkable Friendly and welcoming staff The restaurant and breakfast cafe (including outdoor terrace) looked amazing. I didn’t try either though. Note - there are no views from the hotel (it’s tucked in behind surrounding buildings) Room 311: Beautifully designed and spacious room. Cool, hip and functional, room had a great seating lounge area at the end The shower was amazing and the bathroom sleek luxury and lovely to use. Great big smart TV - positioned at end of the bed (would be helpful if this was also viewable from the seating area - perhaps on a swivel mount?)

Room 311: The bed - Tempur mattress was hot and sweaty, two singles pushed together and dipped very badly in the middle. I continuously rolled inwards. Not great at the best of times but very problematic with a shoulder injury. The sheets also weren’t tucked in at all so woke up with them scrunched up revealing the mattress. The adjacent bar plays loud dance music until early hours (4am on Sat, 2am Sunday) - sounds great fun but did make it more difficult to sleep. I had my portable speaker so could play sleep white noise to cancel it out - so if you have trouble sleeping be prepared No way to block light from rear bathroom window and the glass wall between bathroom and bed mean this affects sleep. A blackout blind in the toilet is needed.

This is the 3rd time i have stayed in Editor Hotel, the staff is very friendly and very welcoming to us and were always ready to help us with anything we need. Staff in reception Dimitris and the others were great with us as also the staff in restaurant Maria and the other two boys were extremely friendly and helpful.Especially the boy Jamil as i remember his name we support the same basketball team and he explained us how to reach the arena in shortcuts by foot. As also Mrs Nancy the hotel manager she welcomed us and she gave us a nice and very quiet room as we were requested.Overall amazing!!!

The cleaning boy didn’t pay attention to the cleanliness of the room but due to the other things were amazing we decided not to give attention!

staff was very nice and friendly; the room was modern, comfortable and clean; breakfast was delicious- although not a lot to choose from, which doesn’t matter if you’re only staying for a few nights; location was perfect, everything was reachable by foot

we didn’t have towels for 2 nights (of 3), I understand not having them the first night due to an accident of the laundry crew, that wasn’t a problem because we at least had bath robes, but the staff should have been aware that we didn’t have them the following day either. We wrote a note for the cleaning staff on the 3rd night and that’s when we got them, they were really nice and even left a heart on our note :)

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. At our arrival we left our bags at the front desk, after a few hours we came back to receive our room and our bags were already in the room. Big room(208), comfortable bed, large shower, cleaning crew are polite. Front desk and kitchen crew are nice and do a great job attending the guests. Location is great! Center, close to everything, QUITE!

The safe in the room is not connected to the wall. In our specific room the bed was really far from the TV screen. Must of the channels are in greek, just CNN in English

Great location, quiet, breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly.

The air conditioning shuts off when you remove you key from the wall mount (which is fine and expected in the EU) but when we would return most of the time we would have to call the front desk to have them “reset our temperature” before the AC would actually turn on and start cooling the room. No hangers in the rooms, and the mini fridge never really got cold despite changing the setting to as cold as it could go.
