Nikos in the reception was fantastic, recommending places and helping sort any issue we had. The rooms are each different, rooms 23,25 are very nice. Location is at the heart of everything. What return again

If you choose the sleep in the old city, you should remember there is no close parking so you carry your suitcase in the streets and in high season there is no parking at all so you need to park at carffur which is about 20 euros per day. The only problem related to the hotel itself is that they have no place to store your close, only hangers.

Super location in the Historic Old Town of Hania. Top level shops and restaurants literally out the door. The bathroom was newly renovated and of excellent workmanship and quality fixtures. We very much enjoyed sitting on the balcony over the square!

Email with lock box location and code for key should be sent at least a day or 2 before check-in. The Email literally posted to my phone as we were trying to enter the hotel at 10:45 at night. Note to hotel: travel and international telephone technology may create delays in "last minute" info transmission. We also had trouble (in the dark) of finding the entrance to the hotel - actual entrance is on the small side street, not the square, so we could have used a very simple location map in the email, since Google Maps kept telling us we were there, but did not specify the "side" entrance. All the adjacent tavernas on the square were closed, all signage was in the dark, so we were very lucky to find a late shopkeeper who pointed out the entrance location.

The hotel was a little difficult to find, but once we did, we had no issues. The Room was spacious, clean enough, but a little older. The bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell, and we had a little issue where the water in the toilet kept running after we flushed it, but the staff fixed it. The balcony was the star of the show! I loved being able to keep the doors to the balcony open and hear the hustle and bustle of the street, but the curtain was so thick, it wasn't noisy when closed. The hallway is a bit echo-ey, and the walls a little thin, but we didn't have any issues. The elevator was tiny, but cute, and it got the job done. Lobby was gorgeous, but the lobby bathroom smelled horrible, like someone peed all over the floor or maybe they just have plumbing issues. Staff were nice, but frequently weren't at the desk. It took us a while to be able to check out because there was no one there. But overall, this was a great little hotel that was centrally located. I would stay here again.

Plumbing could have been better, room could be a little more updated. Staff could be more attentive, but overall, they're fine. Parking is virtually non existent around the hotel. We ended up parking at a 24 hour lot outside of old town Chania. It was only about a 10 minute walk, so it would have been a breeze on a normal day, but it was challenging with luggage and cobblestone streets.

Everything was great for us! The hotel was right in the centre of the old town, you could go pretty much anywhere within a few minutes by foot. The balcony in our room was amazing, it looked over a small square and the nearby church. Everything was nice and clean and the people were very pleasant and helpful.

Though it wasn't a problem for me, the bell from the church may be a bit loud in the morning for some people and if you want to hop from the hotel straight onto the beach, this is not the best place for that.

Location in the center of the old town, close to the Venetian port. Restaurants and shops all around. Quiet street. The room was large with a small balcony, but enough room for a table and chairs. Nice view to the back of the cathedral - rings in the morning 7-8 am briefly but strongly. Elevator! Convenient check-in, total autonomy. Daily room cleaning, comfortable beds, large towels and bathroom cosmetics.

Noisy fridge in the room. No ventilation in the bathroom - fogged up mirror. Few hangers in the bathroom - only 2 pcs, there was nowhere to hang towels, clothes. The bathroom is large, so you can add additional hangers, which will make it easier to use the bathroom. No coffee machine to have a cup on the balcony in the morning. But these are minor things that the owner could easily fix. Other than that, the room is great!

Amazing staff! Especially Nicos :-) Proximity to the port. Restaurants right in front of the building.

The room was clean and the staff very helpful. We asked for an extra pillow and a hair dryer and got both immediately. The location is good as it's at the center of the town (keep in mind that it's not accessible by car) so you have many options nearby.

The entrance is very small, close to the stairs making it uneasy to enter the property especially with luggages. Neither is the elevator spacious, but it's new and ok if 2 people with luggages squize a bit. We needed a trash bin in the room. The door of the freezer inside the refrigerator needs to be fixed as our fruits got frozen. Lastly, a plank on the floor outside the bathroom needs to be fixed as well, as we were often bumping into it. Small details that make a difference. :) Otherwise, everything else was fine and we would recommend it.

Helpful staff, especially as we arrived very late. Lovely quiet location in the middle of the old town. Clean and comfortable.

No cars allowed in the old city which on one hand is great but it does mean walking with luggage for a distance to where your car is parked. Not a big price to pay for peace and quiet.

Beautifully designed little boutique hotel on a picturesque street in the old town of Chania. Nikos, the host was truly the loveliest we have encountered out of many on our travels around Crete. He gave us advice on the best breakfasts and coffees and was over and above helpful with our bags and taxi bookings. we have stayed in many lovely place in Chania over the years but this one is our favourite now as it just ticks all the boxes.

nothing!

We arrived late at night (our flight was delayed so arrived even later than anticipated), Nick left us keys in the key box, with a messgae and a photo explaining all we needed. The hotel is in an excellent location, ask Nick for great food recommendations. There is a church around the corner, so be prepared for an early alarm on Sunday for mass.

Note that the hotel is located within the old city where cars and taxis can't drive we came as a family and had a lot of luggage, with was a little difficult, but worth it!
