The hotel is ideally located just beside the main pedestrian/shopping area. The room was spacious with a very functional, big bathroom. The breakfast was really excellent, and you can enjoy it in the open garden area.

Before heading out to the beach we asked the reception desk if they had daily cleaning service, since we need one. They confirmed they do with "of course!". But nevertheless when we came back from the beach at 21:00 the room was not cleaned and all our towels were on the floor. We were quite annoyed with the excuse we received from the girl at the reception desk. She said that we probably put "Do not disturb sign" on the door, which was really ridiculous - a somewhat cheap, ready-to-use excuse when they don't manage to clean all the rooms. "Sorry, we couldn't make it" would be just enough for us.

The room is amazing. Top floor with L-shaped balcony. What else do you want? The room is an open architecture, meaning there is no door to the shower. Still door to the toilet though. The location is super excellent where the city center of Heraklion is explorable on foot. The air-con and the bed is so comfortable. The fridge is mediocre though where there is no possibility to make ice (very important to me on a hot sunny days). The staffs are all friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is mediocre. I really felt hungry after eating there. Be careful about one of the wooden chair in the room which is broken and another one is a cut-off log that has very sharp edges and splinter. Not to mention the must valet parking. Not bad since you don't need to tip any of the driver, just be sure you didn't forget anything in your car before going to your room. Also, the people are kind of rude.

Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a seaview room, which had a nice balcony where we watched the sunset. The room was very nice and clean, and the bathroom was spacious. There are lots of restaurants and parks within a short distance. Plus, this hotel was very convenient to the port for our early morning ferry - we were able to walk there in about 10 minutes.

While the shower was great -- large with a nice rainhead -- there was no light in it, so it was a bit dark. We didn't have a car here, but saw a very long line of people waiting to get into the garage in the late afternoon.

The hotel was very modern. The rooms were really spacious and the bathrooms were fantastic. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful as were the restaurant staff who assisted our group of 9 getting a meal 5 minutes before the kitchen closed the night we arrived! The food was very generous, tasty, and great value for money. The valet parking next door was super convenient and also very good value for money.

The only thing we didn't like was the coffee at breakfast but everything else I couldn't fault!

The location at the centre of the town was wonderful. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating in every way. The king delux room was a delight, spacious, comfortable bed and great bathroom and shower. The breakfast was ok although it would have been good to have had coffee options available outside the machine coffee as there was the facilities. Arrangement with parking company a bonus.

The noise from the night club across the way filtered into the room despite doors closed to balcony.

Centrally located, easy to walk to shops and restaurants, a short drive to the ferry port. The family room was wonderful and spacious, a king bed and two twin beds with two separate rooms. The breakfast was excellent and they opened it up early for us to ensure we ate before our ferry ride.

Although there is a parking garage downstairs, it was very tricky to park there as it was very busy and we were told it was full. Once we said that we were staying at the hotel they let us park.

The multi-lingual staff was very helpful and responsive. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel location is outstanding, easy walking distance to everything. There’s even a laundry service just around the corner, with two-hour turn around for wash and fold, and next-day dry cleaning.

At the start of our nine-night stay, we were initially given an unacceptably small room, and were relocated on request. The new room, 416, overlooks a courtyard of sorts and a restaurant called Lokal. That restaurant played loud disco music every night and it kept us awake. The hotel staff was sympathetic and promised to ask the restaurant to turn it down, but clearly without lasting effect. We were not inclined to pack up and move rooms again, though it was offered. If you stay here and prefer not to listen to driving bass and drums as you try to fall sleep, request a room NOT overlooking the restaurant.

The staff were lovely, they let us check in at 9:30 even though we just wanted to drop off our luggage, AND they upgraded us from a deluxe room to a suite and the room was absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast was great too and they even called us a taxi to the airport in the morning. Will definitely be returning!

The pillows were way too puffy/fluffy to the point of being extremely uncomfortable and the property is up a very steep hill which is a challenge to walk with luggage, especially if you're in a hurry. Also our air conditioning didn't work and I had to call reception for them to activate it.

A beautiful stylish hotel, lovely modern details in the interior design. The room was big and very well equipped (kettle, coffee/tea, nail files, sewingkit...). The breakfast was heavenly with both local and international treats. Excellent friendly service!

The escalator wasn't working when we arrived late at night and I had to drag the heavy suitcase up, probably just a temporary problem though. A gym would have been a nice addition to the facilities.
