We decided to spend our holiday in Patras and selected Moxy cause of free parking & good (Marina) location. The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is approx 2.5 km away from the (real) city center (walking distance). The closest beach (pebble beach with sunbeds and umbrellas) is in Rio (suburb of Patras) which can be reached either by car of public transport (approx 5 km away from the hotel). There are a lot of bars and restaurants near the hotel. We took a breakfast in our hotel when we arrived. It was fair, but as there are so many places nearby (cafés in Marina, local bakeries,... less expensive) we decided to explore other options. When we arrived, the receptionist upgraded our standard room to the one with a sea view (for free). The room was on the second floor. It was cleaned and towels were changed every day. The size of the room was ok, wi-fi good, A/C included in the room price. Beds were comfortable. Free parking has enough parking places and it is located just behind the hotel.

There is no wardrobe in the room which was an issue for us as we stayed for 9 days. (Our clothes were all over the room, but we managed somehow.) No chairs either in the room or on the beautiful terrace facing Marina.

My family stopped here while driving through Greece. The property is really cool and on the waterfront. The view was great. The decor is playful and fun. The pool is awesome. We played foosball (sp?), and noted there were a bunch of other games in the lobby you could play. The cocktail bar/check-in station is fun. Breakfast was very good - plenty of options and a great start to the day. Included cheeses, hams, Greek bacon which is kind of like Canadian bacon, omelettes, hard boiled eggs, lots of kinds of pastries and bread, Greek yogurt, a variety of jams and honeys, cereals, juices, coffees, etc. Rooms were quite comfortable. Parking available for guests behind the building. Lots of good restaurants nearby as well.

Everything was great! There were no parking spaces available but I was able to use a free parking space nearby. The hotel and the room was very clean. The room and the bed was very comfortable. The view to the marina was amazing. The staff were very polite. The location is great as everything is within reach (walking distance). The shower was spacious and functional: there was a cabin so as to avoid water spillage and the water pressure was strong. Even the bath products were great (even for people with skin problems like myself). I didn't have any breakfast (because I am not usually up before 11 a.m.) but my husband told me that it was rich with a big variety of foods and drinks. There are snacks and drinks available until 12:00 a.m. and there is a beautiful roof garden bar with amazing view. I am definitely coming back!

Excellent location, friendly stuff, easy parking, many local restaurants to grab a bite/drink, nice bed and bathroom.

We had to request for an extra set of towels as they forgot to put a second (we were a couple) in the room. However ALL towels must have been used for more than a decade, one haD 2 holes in it. It is about time for you to order some new towels for the hotel.

The hotel is modern, quirky and hip with a very unique reception area. We loved the massive tv in the room and the sensor light under the bed was a great surprise. It helped not wake my partner when using the bathroom at night. Also was able to have a great shower due to large shower head. We stayed in the room with sea view and loved the balcony view. The balcony door was double pane so we couldn't hear what was going on outside which made for a peaceful sleep. Bed was super comfortable.

If there was a Nespresso machine in the room, so that I could have my morning coffee without going down stairs, that would have been perfect. Maybe something to consider adding to the higher priced rooms that would really uplift the experience.

In short period I had opportunity to stay twice in this hotel. First time was great but second was so special because I had car accident in Greece close to Patra. Hotel staff wormy accepted me and my wife plus kept my broken car at hotel parking and helped me to continue my already planned travel. I have no words to say how grateful I am to whole hotel staff and definitively recommend this place as hotel but great and kind people, as well. My respect.

Hotel and facilities - best in town. Great design. Great lobby, pool, food, rooms, bed, faciliries, excllent rooftop bar, location, working spaces, parkimg lot. Clean and comfy. Good toiletries. Rooms made daily, flexible on guests' schedule. Fair English usage. Excellent rating for a 3-star hotel.

The rooftop bar personnel was awful, seemed like customers disturbed them. No service at all. The cleaning personnel loudy in the morning. Also, they knock and enter the rooms to check if they can make the room. The shower was a bit clogged. No wardrobe whatsoever in the room, no hangers to dry your beach swimming suits. No outdoor furniture on the balcony.. No beaches closer to 1,7 km - bigger ones at driving distance / 15 min drive.

Everything was superlative. The hotel is new, clean and with a very kind staff. The location is excellent, near the port, and in an area where there are many restaurants and cafes. The hotel has its own parking lot with a barrier and also a swimming pool. The hotel is also pet friendly. We stopped here for relaxation for 2 nights on the way to Zakyntos.

The time at which the pool closes, 6 pm in my opinion is too early, it could be close at 8-9 pm.

Design, atmosphere, place. This hotel should be 4 stars rated instead of the current 3 star. Amazing value for money!

Small details: 1. The reception was within the bar. There could have been placed a smart “ divider” between the two. 2. The presence of double glazed windows without a fly prevention net. 3. Air conditioning was switched to “ heat/ winter” mode and the current weather conditions were the opposite. Therefore the room temperature was higher that it should have being making sleeping difficult. Despite of all these, I would have certainly come back!

MOXY Patras is a good choice but when being business traveler it can be a bit hard being together with tourists that have other targets. Anyway the team is trying to marriage both demands. Congrats to the service team on the higher floors that really did a great job.

Nothing really worthwhile to mention but please forget this Douwe Egberts Coffee machine, that is a pain to the tongue.
