Basic hotel with good value for money. The location is good - near to the harbour if you want to go on a boat trip, near to the old town, near to the bus to the airport. Located in a relatively quiet street in an area with normal shops. Breakfast is OK but not very fancy, you can eat the breakfast outside in a nice little backyard with flowers. Staff is friendly. Free Wi-fi. Free aircondition.

This is a fairly basic but comfortable small hotel. Easy walk from/to the bus station & airport bus - & also shops, eateries, the medieval city and the town beach. It is a bustling street, quite noisy. The hotel isn't modern & it is faded, but it suited us for location, price & facilities. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I was surprised by how good the breakfast was too. A lot of reviews comment of the bathroom. We had no problem. It was small, and a 'wet room', common in Greece. It had a glass door. The toilet, sink & shower all easily accessible. Was careful with the shower & I had the mat outside the door - no problem. Safe boxes available downstairs & get a key from reception.

The street was quite noisy, but that's what you get with the price and location.

The location is really good, close to the port, beach, walled old town, airport bus stop, cafes, supermarkets. Breakfast had good choices. I had just the standard room but liked that it had a balcony. I found Rhodes Town quite interesting and would consider coming back again to this hotel.

We had to get an early boat from Halki so arrived at the hotel very early for check in - we were planning to ask if they could look after our cases. We were surprised and very pleased when we were given our room key and also invited to have a coffee in the breakfast room. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodation and really go out of their way to make sure guests are well cared for. The central location is great - close to the bus station and a short walk from the closest harbour with the main harbour being a short taxi ride (or longer walk) away. It is also close to restaurants and bars as well as a supermarket and other shops.

This was a return visit for us as we had such a great stay a few weeks before. Great location near the Old Town, the ferry ports and the beach etc. Fab large and varied breakfast and the staff allowed us to leave our luggage in the foyer whilst we sat in the breakfast room until we were ready to leave. The room had a good size balcony and the shower pressure was great and temp hot.

The mattress was not very good with springs sticking into my back so was not very comfortable.

Basic GREAt value for money hotel.200yards from (airport)bus station which means a fare of 2.60 euros each from airport to easy walk hotel-Taxi circa 40 euro.The rooms are basic but using this hotel as a base for exploring Rhodes is ideal-the old fort etc is 300 yds,Closeness of bus station means a full day trip exploring the outer edges of the island will cost max 16 euros return( (a day to uncrowded Kiotari beach-NOT Kiotari-will cost 14-20 euros each return by bus compared to a staggering 180 euro taxi fare,For snack or meal Il Porto is must try for taste and a view,Gennadi is a 20 minute walk)-just beware peak season busses are very busy,try to catch pre 10-00am departures and post 1700-oohrs returns. GREAT breakfast-this hotel serves the only decent cornflakes I have come across at any tourist class hotel in Rhodes.The breakfast garden is a lovely way to start the day-the breakfast room suffers from the common "I am going to waste as much good food as possible because I can and inconvenience anyone who is not ME as much as possible" mentality of some people-but is cleared quickly. The savoy is in the centre so balcony street side rooms are not quiet but not overly noisy and this is outweiged by being able to watch the street scene in the small amount of time spent in the room. Very helpful and courteous staff-just ask!This is the 5th time we have stayed at the savoy.

shortness of stay.

We had a lovely stay at The Savoy. Staff as always were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good. The hotel is very well located in Rhodes Town for sightseeing or getting public transport (bus, taxi, boat) elsewhere. The location is also handy for shopping and the harbour front where there are plenty of cafes. There are several very good restaurants a short walk from the hotel.

Everything was great!

The location of the Savoy Hotel is very good from the point of view of being in short walking distance to restaurants, beaches and the Old Town as well as the New Town. Another bonus for us was a laundry close by! The breakfast was fine and especially that it was available very early as I had an early plane to catch. The staff were very helpful and booked a cab for the drive to the airport.

This is an old hotel and therefore rather "tired". The room and bathroom were no more than adequate and could use upgrading. We are not fussy, and enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is great especially if someone doesn’t want to rent a car because it’s in the center so the bus station and the beach is very close. The breakfast was nice and a good start for the day. It’s a totally fine low budget place to stay if you only want to sleep/shower/refresh yourself between your outdoor activities.

Because of its location it might be noisy at night and also the fridge can be loud and you can hear through the pipes when someone flushes the toilet. I bought earplugs which helped me with sleeping. As a couple the bed was a bit uncomfortable because two single beds were next to each other and they slipped during the night.

Lovely no frills hotel near the historic centre of Rhodes and near to shops and good restaurants.Breakfast was good with lots of choice.Room was small but i had balcony which gave more space.Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very good value for money for its location in centre of Rhodes town

Coffee and tea making facilities in the room would have been nice to have
