The staff where absolutely amazing couldn’t do enough for you,going beyond expectations.a few maintenance issues that need more attention-lights and bathroom doors

For a hotel where 95% of the visitors were couples and older people there was a group of young lads were very loud and monopolised the pool and made it quite intimidating for other users.also one very rude man of the group showing his bottom to my son and his girlfriend and another couple leaving bottles and rubbish around the pool area and using disgusting language about what he was going to do sexually to his girlfriend.the hotel was great but may make me and I guess others about rebooking

We enjoyed our time at Oktober Downtown Hotel, our room was cleaned every day, bed comfortable, breakfast nice. Also all of the hotel personnel were helpful and very friendly. The Hotel is located walking distance from the beach, old town, shopping centre and lots of restaurants. We would recommend staying there to friends and relatives.

The only thing we could fault was the fridge in our room, it was quite noisy when it starts cooling, for a couple of minutes it’s quite loud and when you’re trying to fall asleep, it can be annoying but once you are asleep then you’re fine.

The location was perfect since everything was quite close (restaurants, bars, beach, clothing stores, old town…). It always took us less than 10min by foot to go somewhere. The hotel was clean and the room big enough for two people. Having a balcony on the pool side is perfect to see if there is sunbeds left. Breakfast was basic but good. Lastly, the staff were really kind and always making sure everything was okay. Skiadeni, Selena and Caterina were so helpful and joyful, they made our stay unforgettable. I 100% recommend it!

Room was too dark, poor illumination. Even when they fixed one of the bulbs, it was still not well illuminated. We were 2 women wearing make up everyday and it was difficult to do it right. Bathroom was too small for a double room, and not very comfortable.

the staff were really nice and always greeted us with a smile. every problem we encountered they solved.

there is a gap between the shower door to the wall so while you shower -if another person stand close to the shower area-they can see everything inside the shower. also it was a little uncomfortable that the other person in the room can see your shadow while you shower. and the lighting was really low in the room-there wasn’t a big light only a lot of smaller lights that didn’t do much.

Breakfast is really good, a big choice of everything. The hotel is nice and clean. Staff members are polite and kind, always with a smile. Everything is good there are just missing some small things to be even better. Bed is good but for me it is just to soft, there are a lot of noise from the street but it's not so distracted.

I can't say i didn't like it but every cleaning lady has her own policy what will she do. We never didn't get same towels and the same way of making beds. But over all rooms are clean.

I travel a lot and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Firm, but soft and a king size bed too. Very clean room with fridge, good size balcony. A really good breakfast with plenty of hot and cold choices. Pool area very nice and peaceful, comfortable sun loungers with sun towels provided in your room. Staff were helpful and friendly. A good location for Rhodes Town, numerous bars and restaurants all around, 5 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk in other direction to the Central Bus Station, harbour and the Medieval Town. Small modern hotel, very good value.

The lighting in the hall way outside the room could be brighter, I found it very dim when trying to see, to put the key in the lock. Also hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes etc, would be very useful.

lovely bar staff, provided us with everything we could want when by the pool! reception staff also really helpful, booking taxis and providing bus timetables. Excellent location for the cuisine area of the town, and super close the old town too.

some of the room facilities were a bit tired but for the price it was very reasonable and everything was clean and made a great base for our holiday. The pool was lovely but a little shallow so unable to do lengths if you were planning on that you will have to just go in the sea!

Great location, everything so easy to find with lovely shops close by. We were greeted by the most loveliest receptionist called Inis (hope Iv her name spelled right) We booked a double room which was a little small as we requested a cot for our toddler but noticed it wasn’t in the room. We didn’t want to make a fuss as we said the bed was big enough for the three of us to sleep in for the couple of days. Inis, the lovely lady at reception asked us the next day did we get a cot and offered us a bigger room and brought me to look at two bigger rooms which we got to choose from. We got upgraded to the biggest room they had for the rest of our stay! It was beautiful and we had plenty of room with the cot! Everything was spotlessly clean, great shower, comfy huge beds. Lovely simple breakfast. On check out the girls at reception gave us late check out untill 1pm free of charge as we had late flight home. The cleaning lady was so lovely and didn’t put us under any pressure or rush us out as we literally left the room just a little after 1pm! Inis booked us a taxi at reception to airport. Her lovely husband was our taxi driver. Our toddler ended up having a little accident on the way where she became poorly and we had to stop the taxi on route. I can’t think of inis’s husbands name but we cannot thank him enough for his patience and how he handled the situation. He was so understanding. We will be forever grateful and won’t forget it. Overall our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable thanks to the most wonderful staff especially inis, she couldn’t have done enough for us!

The staff was very kind and helpful, when we asked for something they helped immediately. Breakfast was delicious and we could choose from various kind of food. The hotel is well-located and everything is within walking distance.

Unfortunately we expected a bigger room as we saw on the pictures, but we got a tiny one. The bathroom was a bit uncomfortable, because when you start showering the water splashes everywhere, and we had to mop the floor everytime.
